Between the Weltool T1 Pro, the T1 Pro Tac (high and low light only, the first access is direct to high mode) which one would you choose for EDC. Or is there some other EDC 14500 that rules all the others? Thank you

Also I like them simple with high/low or high medium low. I also only get lights with a momentary tails switch instead of reverse clicky. Basically the only 14500\AA flashlight I have found to have these options is his Weltool and Klarus xt1a. Only problem with the klarus is that it doesn’t come in a neutral led and it is big. So If I was you I would get the new tac version because it’s only 2 modes and it’s 5000k vs the regular t1 pro which is 5700k.

The UI is realistic for EDC use by giving emphasis to medium, but at the same time the high - which isn't too higher - and the low - which is too hidden - were awkwardly placed. I prefer Andúril 2.0 quick-access to the three main modes - press for moonlight, click for intermediary and click-press for turbo. Anyways, i'll keep an eye at the brand and thanks for showing the beams at medium and low. Oftentimes reviews out there only focus on turbo, which is fine but not the most used output for a walk, for instance.

Meaning in an emergency situation, you can actually grab onto this light and pull it out of your pocket _easily._ (Especially useful for those of us who carry a bigger tactical light when on the job.)

It IS really impressive, but I find it mostly just a fun toy. The lack of difference between output levels greatly diminishes any potential utility. The medium (365lm) and high (540lm) are virtually indistinguishable, and the low (86lm) is nowhere near low enough to not blow out your night vision if it’s actually dark. Someone at Weltool forgot that perceived brightness is algorithmic. 🙄 They should remove the medium and replace it with an actual low somewhere south of 5lm, making 86lm the medium. That would make this light both fun and useful. And I agree that Anduril 2 (or frankly any ramping UI like the Thrunite Archer Pro V2) would be be even better.
I have to say, I disagree about the perceived mode indifference. There is certain difference, but the runtime is the biggest one. For someone who wants to delay battery drain while maximizing output, it's great. A moonlight mode, or somewhere between 1-3 lumens, would have been a nice inclusion. Even an amber LED in the tailcap could have accomplished that... activated by a few quick presses and a click.
The Weltool T1 is a nice flashlight, no doubt about it but I like the Acebeam TAC AA (1000 lumens, 6500k ) better. it comes on turbo any time and it is much cheaper. Also it is impossible to turn on the Acebeam by accident in your pocket.

That's terrible UI cuz I need & use low 5 lumens most of the time. I don't wanna click 4x just to turn it on. Nothing beats Anduril 2 u can go to any light mode u wish easily. I also don't like the spot in the middle it has no transition it's an eyesore just like my Surefire Tactical Flashlight. No way I'm buying that Weltol Flashlight.

I think using TWO 14500 batteries will be too much voltage and damage the light rendering it useless.

Yes it is great!! But only use alkaline or NiMH. Don't use Lithium or it will blow the LED
