Awesome AWESOME comparison! Most comprehensive Weltool video on TH-cam! 🤜🔥🤛 The reason for double alkaline and not 14500 for the T1pro extension tube is the voltage. Alkaline are only 1.5V while 14500 are 3.6 or 3.7 so 2 of them will fry the driver/LED.
I got my first weltool and i gotta say that the beam is a cut above the rest. It's so clean and no imperfections whatsoever. Also the spill is just brighter
I absolutely LOVE my Weltool W4 Pro. If ever there was a light that you want to throw a beam out to 3+ kilometers on binoculars, all without disturbing anyone around you, this is it. Built rock solid, dropped from the back of a moving pickup truck to the road without any issues, and is only beat in range by my Maxa Beam. I also have the T19, and their build quality is top notch. The best brand? Possibly. I'd put them right up there with Fenix, Olight, Imalent and Acebeam...
Hey Mike, that's very elaborate, thanks a lot. I've got a T19 on the way, could you tell me which Thyrm Switchback model fits onto it? Was gonna go with the T2 TAC but bit worried about it being confiscated at security checkpoints when flying internationally cuz it's entirely up to the officers' feelings even though I've flown multiple times with something gnarlier without issues (Nitecore MH27). Hope to see a glass breaker bezel someday though.
I'm going to have to look at this brand then. I've never actually looked at Weltool before but I love a good tactical-style tail switch but they just never get used on the good lights over those shallow e-switches. Interchangeability of parts is also a massive selling point for me.
I always use light with tail switch and it must be 1 mode only: turbo. That is it, no low, nothing. Just plain turbo like elzetta bones or surefire fury. If I want more modes, I use something like acebeam L19 with extra button on the side for different modes but the tail switch still operates like surefire fury, always turbo. 2 mode tail switch isn’t really working out for me.
Hey Nathan, thanks for watching mate! Yes, anything tactical will be reviewed on this channel. I will be reviewing that model in about a month. That as well as the W3Pro tac and W4PRo tac

For example a wurkoss ts10 pro has 1400 lumens with 3 emitters but the battery will step down and empty after 15min of real world use. it doesnt have internal charging. doesnt have a magnetic tail cap. Garbage pocket clip. 0 grip when holding it. the thermals are straight up a joke. Light gets Lava hot after 2 min on high... on the other side ytou have the olight baton 3. Magnetic tail cap+ recharging. incredible runtimes in real life use. thermals are great even after 2min on turbo. pocket clip is amazing quality. perfect machining and knurling. if you want ''budget friendly lights'' with still great real life usability go for ACEBEAM. but sofirn, convoy, lumintop etc.. the real cheap ones only have output going for them. thermals and runtimes are all garbage.

Hey mate, why didn’t you include in the test of best tactical flashlights that you uploaded 5 months ago a Weltool T14C, if it is dedicated flashlight for self defence with great mixture of lumens and candela? In those video 1st place was taken by Weltool T2 Tac, but from this video it is clear that T14C has bigger hotspot but less spill, when T2 Tac has smaller hotspot but more spill. So my question is which one of these is more blinding? Or are they equally blinding? What can you say? Thanks for the review! The best show up of Weltool products
Hey mate, I will have to do a Weltool T14c vs T2 TAc video one day. The problem i found with the T14c when paired against the T2 TAC is that the hotspot is actually smaller and designed for more throw. When i discovered the T14c, the T2 TAC did not exist yet. Once i found the T2 TAC i realised that it is in fact better for self defence. Now, the T14C is still a magnificent light for self defence. Larger hotspot that the T14b. But the t2 TAC seems to have purified this mix between candela and lumens. Thanks so much for watching

im curious why most flashlight collectors don't buy a lot of streamlight and surefire products. in the firearms/police/military world they're the two most well respected flashlight brands.
They’re built for ruggedness/reliability/recoil durability, but don’t really do anything that flashlight collectors can’t find 10x better in another light. I genuinely don’t even think you can find a stream light that hits 50k candela or perhaps 4k lumen, while each quite common when you get into high end flashlights (and likely more compact) than any offerings from stream light. Pretty much just different needs/desires from each group.
👍Great overview of the brand Mike👌. Pity it's not a brand really known or available here. My ideal is for tail switch only lights, with maybe 3 modes, High, Medium and Low, (I'm ambivalent about strobe). USB rechargeable batteries, (battery charges outside of the light). A good blend of throw Hotspot and plenty of wide spill. Weltool looks a pretty good fit from what I can see. 😊
