Casing and impeller wear rings of our API pumps are seized and they were tack welded, i.e. one is tack welded with casing and other is tack weld with impeller, and they are siezed on one another. What should i do to take them out
On case wear ring I always done it the same way he did it.. for impeller wear ring I prefer to use heat to remove it because some wear ring need to fabricate and the dimensions on the existing wear ring need to be check in order to ensure fabricate the new wear ring follow the same dimensions (ID)
