The designers thought it logical to make the Adamantoise drop only one piece of 🥩 per kill.
The Adamantoise is said to be as old as the gods, older then time itself... and Noctis just kills it like it’s nothing.
To be fair, just because it is "said" doesn't mean it is. It's said that Bigfoot exists but no one has ever seen it or probably lived to talk about it
Don't know about "like it was nothing" considering how long this particular fight took(especially if you consider that it took a day and a half "in game") Unless you're using the ring trick. Using Aeterna (the rings ultimate ability) about a dozen or so times and banishing it to the shadow realm, then yeah THAT would qualify "as if it were nothing"

@@sl4807 actually in monster hunter all the monsters you hunt are economical dangers. Basically Everytime you hunt a monster is because that specific member of the species is causing fucking problems.

Not really. I got it done, even if it was longer than what most people would do it in
I tought you can only fight him after story is complete. It took me 1h 30min with 88 lvl characters.

The one thing I hate about big boss fights is that your constantly just attacking a tiny part of it and somehow it’s actually hurting it.

I guess they would burn it with magic or some thing along those lines. After they collect materials from it that are worth something. Definitely would take awhile though.

And I don't blame them. Fighting this thing looks boring as sin, personally. While I can appreciate the scope of this boss, this is absurd. It's like the embodiment of what I've some to know FF for: Visually and conceptually impressive, but tedious and boring to actually deal with.
Don't get me wrong. I LOVE the idea of this boss. It's freaking incredible! ...It just goes on for WAY too long, with too little changing up throughout it. And that makes me sad.
Furthermore, it wasn’t even doing anything. It wasn’t bothering anybody. It was literally just trying to chill.

I was not even lvl99 and I managed to do it in 8 minutes.
Is it me or is this the easiest final fantasy platinum or what? It's definitely easier then 9,10,12, and 13. I'm not sure about the others but I'm betting it's easier. Idk, I'm not quite feeling this game. Sure the graphics are great, but the characters aren't that interesting to me. It'd be nice to have a woman or two in the group. It seems like one big sausage fest the whole adventure. 4 guys sleeping in one hotel room or tent every night. It just seems gay. Plus they're not very interesting.theyre as boring as the group from final fantasy 12, but I like that game more do to it being more challenging and the monster hunt was fun compared to this game

Is it even a fight? It doesn't even look like it attacks you at all
It does. Simply by moving. You can see it at the beginning of the fight. In fact, Noctis actually dies about 5 minutes in.
If you wanted to see Adamantoise and the scale of the boss, watch the first 3 minutes. If you just really like the boss music, play till the end.
FF XV is incredibly underrated... As a modern FF game, the gameplay is pretty amazing. Unfortunately the story was a broken convoluted mess, that left too many holes in what could have been an amazing narrative.
I haven't played it in a while, and I might revisit it after the PS5 releases. Hopefully I can play it with more stable frames.
I played it blind and I cannot share that sentiment about the story at all tbh. I was aware of this opinion before I bought it. And sought to know about the lore and story without looking up guides or going off game. So every info had to come in-game. Yes that also means going through the lore guide tutorial in game. And to be frank. I see it as a pretty straight forward story. Or maybe I’m just too stupid to see or care about plot holes.
It's not "incredibly underrated". Stop using these words so lightly. It's a bloody Final Fantasy, for Pete's sake. It can't be underrated. If it wasn't appreciated as much, there are some reasons (you may not agree with), but it's - and will never be - underrated.

I suggest using the regroup technique for ignis it can heal everyone and take them out of danger
FF15 had some of its own problems but its still one of the best PS4 title I have played. The graphic is really fantastic, and the bosses/mobs look awesome.

@@dezmonje6332 The ring was only doing like 4k dmg each second with the O (on ps4) attack. I tried alterna so many times but i had no luck xD. It actually took me like 3-4 hrs but i dont remember well...

this is a great idea in theory, but in practice, warp striking it to death and the camera not knowing what the hell to focus on ruins it for me. They need an option to pull back the camera away from the protagonist, and something like targeting parts of the body to expose weaknesses. something like god of war, were you are on the turtles back fighting smaller monsters, since it should have it's on ecosystem. Either spend all your time trying to chip away at it's face and arms, or trying to locate it's weakness. shadow of the colossus anyone?

I just fought this thing. I took it down in under 3 hours, maybe even under 2 hours, i dunno, i wasnt timing myself, but hell I did it and im proud of myself.
Definitely looks like the most boring boss of FF's history.

The smell of the dead turtle would be worse then when it was just slumming around.
10 minutes faster than the shortest record i have seen and still has a rough edges i would be amazed to see if you do this in refined method
first time I got to this quest pretty sure I was... maybe around level 55 or so I think? I know it was pretty low by guide standards for the time I did it anyway, was about 10 pm, I had to work the next day and didn't finish this boss till almost 1 am.
I remember this oh my god. I remember a guide saying it was the 1 hour boss fight. I went in underleveled and it took me 4 straight hours to beat him😂
Bruh, his cuts are probably less than skin deep, it would probably get deepest cuts by moving around, your telling me that a tiny human jumping around his neck and legs "cutting" him can kill it?

There's something majestic about watching multiple ig days pass while doing this. I certainly wouldn't fault someone for using ring of the lucii or magitek system clock cheese for beating this thing tho. Especially if you're just farming bangles.

If you use the ring of lucii wide area attack, there’s a high chance you could instantly kill the turtle

so many quad9 dmg, some armiger and didnt watch the 45min harassing to see whether the gods helped this joker or not.

Mainly because thing has over 5 MILLION HP
They probably should have had the boss moving towards a settlement or some populated location. As many commenters have said, technically the thing is just minding its own business and these guys come along and wail on it. Mind you that can be said about most roaming enemies in the game. But this is a game and beating large enemies is part of it.
I love that the party is like "Noct PLEASE NO-" as he leaps into battle 😂
FFXV is my favorite game for so many reasons, the story was good, the world was beautiful, and it really introduced me to most my favorite games today
That said I once spent 2 hours trying to kill this thing before I remembered I could use the ring to one shot it
