    "Manifestation Lore"... There is no subsection called like that in the rulebook nor in the faction battle packs that were published online since today. Where can we find that section, to know which manifestations can be summoned by each factions? And it seems "common endless spells" are gone, am I wrong? Thank you coach 😊

    • @Kazerole

      All these manifestations lores are accessible to every factions, you just pick either one of these or your faction’s one if they have one. In that sense they are “generic”. GW hasn’t officially released the warscrolls yet, they will be in the GHB. I don’t know if they will be included in the skaventide box but doubt it.

      The Manifestation lore is sitting in the GHB unless GW also publish it for free on WarComm which i’m not sure if they will or not. They definitely exist and will be quiet popular

      @@AoSCoach thanks a lot mate. It is still unclear, at least to me, if "priests" can cast all those generic endless spells like mages or if they will have some "invocations" instead. Rulebook says so but still haven't found any news about endless spells for priests.

    Bridge seems nuts, portal still broken as hell if spells are good, shackles seems great if you can cast manifestations with unleash spell. incarnate seems very strong. Purple sun and Geminids has some crazy effects but hurt by short ability ranges and set up outside 9" from enemies. Overall seems they surprisingly kept a lot of their power considering they're free now.

    Hi, can anyone tell me for sure that manifestations don't count as units for the purpose of Guarded Heroes ability? In the rules I see that they count as a unit for the purpose of combat range, and guarded heros says when another unit is in combat range...this make me confused

      Magic Pack, 1.1. Power Level: each wizard and priest has a power level, shown in the bracket after the keywords. A wizard or priests power level determines the number of spells, prayers or banish abilities they can use per phase, in any combination. For example, a wizard (2) could use 1 spell and 1 banish abilities in their command phase

    • @Strade8

      That is for both hero phase though, so in your phase with a wizzard 2 you can cast 2 spells and in the enemy hero phase you can dispell 2

    Do manifestations have a special rule allowing them to move in the turn they're set up?
    Feel like gambling on 9" charges is kinda meh

    • @umpac123

      They said in the Endless & Invocation article that they "typically cant move", so assume cant move unless stated otherwise. So yeah, pretty meh, unless you either have a shooting/ranged effect or 3d6 charge like Incarnate. They are free though, and some of them are

    • @AoSCoach

      No they don’t. Its not like the old predatory spells that move after being summoned…. So you’re going for that 9” charge or needing to summon them 1 turn sooner

    I hate that manifestations are mandatory and seemingly have such a huge impact on your success or failure. I foresee them being a hugely annoying element of 4th ed battles.

    • @AoSCoach

      I’ve been playing a few games without them and honestly it hasn’t been a big deal. They will be popular and i’d expect to see them on most if not all tables

    • @Strade8

      A lot of magic from different lores seems really good and you can't bring many heros. The manifestation competing for the cast will probably make them cast when necessary and not that often as them being free could make you think.

    • @Kazerole

      Your faction spells/prayer are often much more impactful so I doubt people will summon that much. Plus there is a lot of counter play to manifestations. You will see more of them on the table for sure but they won’t be that impactful

  • @christopherkruse1370

    I feel happy they (mostly) got rid of summoning..and replaced it with this. I don't like it, it cloggs up game play instead of enhancing it. Auto-take = auto-buy.

    • @AoSCoach

      Summoming made collecting some armies really hard to collect, so i’m glad its being fixed.

    • @Strade8

      I think it will be good to have some manifestation for a specific purpose but the magic in each army is pretty good and you will want to cast your normal spell more often than not.
