Such a joy to see. Wolf is my all time favorite Predator and it doesn't help his case that he's in the worst movie of the franchise for both alien and predator. I can actually clearly see the emotions on him and his scarred face. If only the whole damn movie was this clear

2:32 - The blood running down from the eye holes of the mask kinda makes it look like Wolf is crying considering we do see him mourning and showing some sign of grief for the dead Predator. Gets me wondering if Predators are capable of producing tears. If they are capable do they simply do it like what reptiles do to keep their eyes moist or can they actually cry as a way of showing grief?
Some sources say they can, and I’m sure some other sources say they can’t. Considering how brutal their lives truly are on a daily basis, they may or may not be able to, but I was thinking probably not since they could possibly interpret that as a sign of weakness, and the Predator is supposed to kind of represent the most ultimate masculine epitome, I’m sure which includes the whole teaching of “real boys don’t cry”, no matter how detestable that would be. However it’s great symbolism if that’s what they intended(I doubt it), and it could showcase just how Wolf feels upon seeing the deceased hunters; he would feel as if no warrior should die a death like they did. It definitely seems killing other Predators will invoke an emotional response to a good little degree, like when the Grid Alien killed Chopper and made Celtic fight him.
actually the Predalien stabbed that deceased Predator right through his left eye/socket of the mask with it's tail, see blood splatter everywhere after he sends out the distress call for Wolf.

They didn't. It seems clear to me that the movie was altered at the last minute due too complaints from early screenings. If you watch any trailer from Aliens vs Predator Requiem you can actually see the movie.
From what I heard the films budget wasn’t to high meaning majority of the makeup, design and special effects would look somewhat rough and unpolished compared to the previous films, so they darkened the film to make it harder to spot that

better lighting and removing of that teen drama would've made this movie way better, and yeah the MCU like The Predator is so damn stupid that it may be the reason why we won't get another pred movie for a while.
Nah this movie has many more issues other then the crap lighting. The human characters are shallow so you end up not caring what happens to them to the extent they feel more like they should have been in a typical cheap low budget slasher movie. A pointless romance plot with the guy in love with the dumb blonde bimbo girl as said girl just dies. Aside from the Predalien being born from Scar's corpse there's no connection to the first AVP nor are the events or characters of the first AVP ever mentioned or brought up again (what happened to Lex after she was given that staff?). The Predailen targeting pregnant women and the whole thing about the bursters eating the human fetus before bursting out of the womb is a disgusting concept and I wish to know what drugs they were on when they thought this up. Said thing the Predalien does completely breaks the rules of how Xenomorphs reproduce. This movie's unhealthy obsession with having children and babies killed adds nothing but cheap shock value and an excuse to botch up the movie's rating The ending sucks with the city being nuked robbing us of an actual proper climax between Wolf and the Predalien, and leaving on a frustrating cliff-hanger with Wolf's plasma pistol being confiscated and handed to some high powered business woman.

I'm one of the few people who will openly say that this was not AS bad as you remember. I thought it was better than the first one just because it was more violent and closer to the franchises. That ending, though, was a cliffhanger that went nowhere.
It was the doors to AVP3 everyone has always wanted - in a distant future with USCM. The sequel was supossed to be only a sort of introduction to the true AVP. But then the fans came, started bitchin' and AVP3 scenario went to a dumpster.
You can see with this predator face the problem isn’t that its mandibles are molded to be open, but that the mandibles are on the side of the face and not covering the mouth at all.
You would think there'd be a team of elite warrior predators to deal with this and contain the infestation maybe work with human government agencies in secrecy but like as a way to hunt the hard meats as the yautja call the xenos
I don't get it. Yautja on Yautja prime can see what the other yautja sees through their biomask. Before accepting the mission, wolfe already saw the last recordings on the mask of the other from Yautja Prime. So what's the need putting on the fallen yautja's mask again????
They’re young bloods. The ship they’re on detached from the mother ship we saw in AVP. These Preds were more like scientists trying to study different species (aliens). Wolf is like a middle aged Predator tasked with cleaning up other Predators messes and ensuring their technology doesn’t get acquired by other species. Wolf is deeply respected on Yautja prime (their planet) and had he lived longer he would’ve been an Elder and probably a great King based on his sympathy for his fallen

The theatrical version of the film cuts out the small clip where we can see a smaller ship depart from the main carrier. So there weren't any Elders present when the Hybrid attacked.

I like how as he comes out of the water the reflection on his left eye makes it look white-ish which is what his actual left eye looks like.
Actually he wasn't blind in his left eye, you can see after he takes his mask off, the toy line made it seem like he was, I don't know why
