I'm so glad you cover these Niche accessory products that most of the other sim TH-camrs neglect. Looks like 3DRAP covered most of the pedal sets like our Logitech Pro wheel pedals with the universal motor mount version . So for PC and PS5 your “ console setup link” Is invaluable so once again many many thanks🙂👍 P.S. Any issues with customs adding VAT, Import charges and lead times etc?
It depends on where you are in the world. Nothing to pay within the EU. Outside the EU, each country has different rules. So possibly nothing to pay if the value is below a certain threshold. These were sent to me to review, so they were exempt from any duties.
I have an Aliexpress version of these and best shop ever (£85 with delivery). I also have bass shakers (4 corners) and I don't use them cause maybe at the beginig was amazing having the rig shaking, but after a while are distracting/annoying. But the pedal rumble is a different thing. You really can have specific info from the car that will be helpfull, improving your driving a lot. And of course the rumble is always fun. I just have 5 effects, very specific and not intrusive one to each other. This is good stuff. Advise for whinny noise: have all effects that jump from zero to max fast (the curve should be very short, example would be wheel lock, starting at 65% of the effect and reaching max strenght of effect at 80% ) that make the rumble be off till the effect triggers so is not buzzing at low power, which is noise and zero rumble.
Interesting, I'm using a transducer with an external sound card for my brake pedal so simulate ABS and locking up, I guess the only meaningful difference is that these are more compact while the transducer is more powerful and cheaper when you can print adapters yourself.
what about the extra motors? The kit comes with 4 and you got 2 for the pedals. What about the other two for the base or somewhere else, how do they translate in game?
Thank you! May I ask what you consider a good haptic layout? Should one ideally get powerful transducers on the four corners of the rig, a couple transducers on the seat, and a transducer on each pedal, or is that far too redundant?
You can "fix" the lag by setting the curve of the effect from zero to max very short, that makes the rumble hit faster. Took me ages of tunning but now pedal rumble is the best add to my rig together with my wheel base.
@@jaywarren3505 I have rumble motors in the pedals. And at the beggining lag was high, however I finally found the right spot. As example, in LMU when I lock the wheels as soon there is smoke the pedal rumble, which at the begining was a few seconds later (really terrible lag). As said the key is to set up curve something like....can't add pictures but imaging half of an "U" and also starting towards the end of bottom line of curve graph. That mades effect trigger only when really matters and the high curve make jump from zero to max, so suddenly vibrates that is what you want. I think the issue is that at low powers the motor runs to low to feel it so that is why there is a lag. Also, only use 5 effects to avoind conflicts between effects But as far as you click the test button and the mottor rumble instantly, you should be able to get the same reaction in game, is about tunning. But take on account this is my experience, and I think that is amazinng, but don' t buy them just because of me, do your own research . As extra info, I had bass shakers which I don't use cause are distracting and not helpful, and I bought Aliexpress motors (not the 3d Rap ones) which cost £85, so I took the risk of motors at a "low" cost (thinking would finish like the shakers) and really happy with the choice.

@optical10 did you try them for GT7 yet? I have the Logitech G Pros too and I’m tempted.

what if you apply one of the universal motors to your shifter & apply shift change to its channel?

They may not look it, but the vibration they produce is very powerful. Too much, in fact, you need to run them at 50% or lower.
what about the extra motors? The kit comes with 4 and you got 2 for the pedals. What about the other two for the base or somewhere else, how do they translate in game?
So the effect is more like a real haptic sensation or a simple vibration?
I'm curious you compare with simagic one...
I mention later in the video, it's like a stronger version of gamepad rumble.
@@SimRacingCorner ok, sorry, I didn't notice it, english is not my native language, so sometime I don't understand some stuff... Thanks for answer 😎
Thank you for this informative review! In your opinion, do your DIY mini bass shakers create a more immersive feeling?
Mini shakers would be my preferred option, but there's not much between them really when it comes down to the type of effects being used on pedals.

Hi and thanks for the good review.
Question: is there a firmware available update to lower the motor-noise?
Not yet

@@jaywarren3505 I have motors.
Can this work on the ps5 ?
It is possible
just get simagic haptic reactors….
set with 2 motors for 169 € is way to overpriced like almost everything from 3d wrap. sim3d sell similar kits for 100 and diy is about 40€
Uuuuuh, the noise is way above the family acceptance threshold, I'm afraid.
