To me the white on black color scheme on the Iron looks meaner than the the blacked out ones. I love them! They're like the old (current at some places) police bikes and will surely get more attention from the other road users, hence making it a safer alternative!

I want he'd your 883 test ride video just a moment ago, and, I suspect that I can look at the 883 with a conference that I can go for it without any hesitation!👍 Love the white color you rode, also, spotted the "wicked red" model! Both colors are on my list of choice. Would go with: 1. Engine guards. 2. Rear shocks. 3. Wind shield. 4. 124 Db sound bomb horn. 5. Baja design IP3 driving lights. 10K lumens. 6. The seat! I know of no other alterations to the bike. Glad to give a piece of great news in my weight dilemma!😁 Doug

I just bought this bike yesterday! NOW I’m watching videos and reviews on it!! 🤪. Went looking for a Honda and ended up with a Harley! I wasn’t even a Harley fan and then I walked into a dealership and it was all over for me then! This is my first bike (besides my Honda scooter) and I was looking at the street rod 750 but this one stole the show man! It was sitting beside the street rod and was almost the same price! Mine is the all black model.
A short summary from a user, riding this thing in Europe. Pros: - you'll get that feeling of the bike being 100% mechanical thing while riding. And I love it. - lots of torque from low end - not bad fuel economy - the looks(this bike is just beautiful) - the sound after mounting custom, straight pipes(or slip-ons) - the bike is all metal which makes it very rigid - lots of aftermarket parts and accessories available - lots of modifications can be done to the bike and the engine itself(like producer-made kits for modifying engine from 883 to 1200ccm). Cons: - ground clearence(not terrible but could be better) - small gas tank(in 48 is even worse) - brakes performance could be a little bit better(it's not bad though) - blinkers buttons positioning and overall control buttons ergonomics is bad - stock mirrors are shit and even flipping them upside-down doesn't do the trick - rear suspension travel is short. This and not ultra-confy stock seat will make your ass hurt after 300 km or so. - buyers from outside of the US need to take onto account that metric system tools will be totaly useless when dealing with this bike. New, imperial system-made set of tools is a must buy - so-called "harley tax" when buying new bike. Overall you'll have to test-ride it first. You'll either love the bike for its character as I did or you'll hate it for all the cons it has.
Being in the US I absolutely hate the metric system so for me that's a pro 🤣 But I really like your overall assessment of the bike as an owner. Thank you for posting this and for watching!

Goes like the clappers. People tell me that 883's are underpowered. Well after riding a Fireblade for so long there is no comparison of course. But..I'm not trying to compare it to a blade. She goes plenty well enough for me and I am glad I bought an 883.

Love my 883 Iron but I am making some changes. I went with Burly 1 inch bars and flipped the mirrors. I will change the counter pulley from a stock 29 tooth to a 31 tooth and after the front tire wears out I will go with a decrease is profile and slightly wider size. I am considering a 12 inch rear shock set up with a little more travel.
This is going to be my first bike in spring. Thanks for the review. I like the way you sound(no homo) and the way you talk about the bike. Keep it up and ill keep watching. Some guys voices doing these videos are unbearable. Thanks MB
I've had mine for about a year now love the bike...only issues it's really bouncy even after checking pressure and adjusting it's still bouncy gear shifting is clunky if you know what I mean it took some getting use too but a great bike any advice would help with the issues I have thanks
Gear shifting on a Harley is clunky. Swapping the oil in your case for Syn3 synthetic from Harley can help make it just a little smoother. As for the "bouncy" take a spanner wrench and adjust your rear shocks. Make sure they're both on same level, then adjust the level til you find one that works for you. Part of having a sportster. If you're coming from a monoshock rear bike, the dual external springs have a different feel. I love the Iron I got with the 1275 conversion. Thing is a torgue beast, but the sportys are just different than other bikes. I've got newer videos on my channel I've made with my own sporty, you may find those useful. Hope that helps!
Could you please do a comparison video with the Iron 883 (black or grey ) vs the Kawasaki z900 RS (red ) from looks and design to power with comfort or just everything a rider would consider. These two are my favorites and what I would consider for my next bike but they are so different. If you could thanks a bunch!

Thanks for the video, glad I subscribed! I've been looking at the Sportster 48 and the Vulcan S. How would you compare the two bikes? Seems like apples and oranges to me just by the videos-or are the two bikes similar? This video helps me get a good feel for the Sportster, even though like I mentioned, I'm considering the 1200cc 48.
LIONS 67 Vulcan S is more sporty, has a better lean angle, better handling, more comfortable. Great acceleration and decent power. Harley 48 has a lot more torque and power and it's a Harley :) I have a Harley 48 video coming this week, hang on just a little longer!
I was driving in the hills of Northern Georgia/Southern Tennessee. I would recommend this bike over the Vulcan S for power and comfort. I would reccomend the Vulcan S for slightly sportier handling. Best thing you can do is ride both and try them out. Ride safe, and thanks for watching!
Ryan Haynes I have the ‘19 Iron 883 and I have taken the ‘19 Indian Scout for a test ride and I have to say, I believe (for me) between the two bikes, The Indian is: The better bike. I still love my Iron 883 though!
I don’t know about the height. I’d think you’d want forward controls to stretch your legs out. I did that on mine and my legs don’t cramp anymore. The weight should be fine. Adjustable rear shocks for rider/payload weight.
Am seriously considering both the Iron & the Vulcan. How would you compare the difference in the handling and overall maneuverability of each bike. I guess I should state that I am 5’ 6”, and all of 135 lbs. Thanks in advance for any response. If anyone else would like to comment, please do. I like the handling of the Vulcan S more. But I like the looks and comfort of the Iron more. Also more customizing can be done to the Iron. Best advice I can possibly give you is just walk into the dealership and ask to test ride each one. Don't buy it til you ride it. You'll know almost immediately which one you like more. Hope that helps!
Nash Raza I recommend trying them both to see which one you lime more! The Iron has it's perks with a bigger engine, more of a cruiser riding style, and it's a Harley. The Vulcan S has a steep lean angle and a sport engine, but may not be as comfortable to ride for longer periods of time. Hope that helps! Just my opinion!

I'm in that boat I want to get the fat bob in about 8ish months but ill be riding a white 883 for a while then trade in to get the fat bob later
Zen I plan on getting the Fat Bob in about 8 months as well, won't trade in my new Dark Horse though. Will just have to have two bikes in the garage 😁
