    If you have ridden a 2018 Harley Breakout, what are your thoughts? Did you love it, or does it need some work? Let me know!

      Fell in love with the aesthetics but I've the same height as you, so I'm a bit too leaned forward too. But I've a Deluxe for longer rides. So best of both worlds in softail world.

      I love the breakout looks but I would love a breakout with blacked out engine to go with that sweet new digital speedo/tach

    If you want to improve the engine braking on the Vulcan S get a Booster Plug. It will solve not only the harsh engine braking but also the twitchy throttle in first and second.

      Thomas R. Smith Thanks! I will look into that. Never even knew what that was!

      It basically adds a little more fuel where you need in the low rpms and at full throttle acceleration. While cruising it shuts off to save on fuel economy. I added it recently along with a 14 inch Delkevic Carbon Fibre exhaust. Installed the optional longer solid "Quiet Baffle" Well, their idea of quiet and mine must differ since that thing is anything but quiet ;-) Still it now has a nice deep rumble and it screams at Full Throttle. OMG, what a difference. My butt dyno likes :-D Most importantly it smoothed out the throttle and the harsh deceleration this bike is known for. Even if you don't have an aftermarket exhaust the Booster Plug will work with the stock exhaust as well. And when you add an aftermarket exhaust it will make sure you are not running lean. At first I was very skeptical but it does everything it advertises and it is completely plug and play. You do need to take the tank off. Actually I didn't take it completely off, just disconnected the fuel line and the fuel pump power connector and moved it to a work table which I set up next to it. If you have a buddy handy he or she can make sure it doesn't slip off the table or perhaps hold onto it. It doesn't take very long to unplug the stock air sensor and plug in the booster Plug, Then plug the OEM plug into the Booster Plug harness and run the metal sensor to the front of the bike. It sounds complicated but it really isn't. If you ever decide to get it let me know and I will help you through the installation. There is even a video out that someone made.

      Thomas R. Smith Thanks Thomas! I think that is something I will definitely do towards the fall when I have time. I will hit you up for some help beforehand. Thanks for letting me know all of this!

    Interesting place for the display. Not bad though. Lot of people riding the new Harleys and singing its praises, I'll need to find a demo day out here and see what the hype is about ✌️😎

      MotoKari yeah bro! You can go to any harley for a test ride though. Don't have to wait for demo day 😁

    With a price tag of 20k I would think that any honest review would at least include some objective negative points as well. I have owned more Harley’s than I care to admit. From a Sportster, to a Springer, and up the line to the Ultra Classic. I bought new about every 2 years except in 2004 when I kept a bagger for 4 years. Even living in New England I would put at least 10k mile on those bikes each year.
    I only mention this because when I switched to European and Asian bikes, I quickly realized how overpriced and ridiculously expensive the upkeep on the Harley’s were. By far my honest opinion about Harley’s is there’s a lot not to like. I had a new 2009 Goldwing which was pricey to buy, but cheap to own.
    Save your money! You can get so much more bike than you can with a Harley. Be different, buy smart!
    The preceding biased opinion is just mine based on my experience.🙄

      I understand your opinion completely. I already own another bike (Kawasaki Vulcan S) that I love. I have just always wanted a Harley as well. I didn't have much to complain about having only seen the breakout and gone over it about 10 minutes before riding it at the demo day. I just gave what I think are reasons FOR buying it. If enough people are interested, I can do a much more detailed and in-depth objective review in the future. Thanks for watching and commenting! Ride safe bro.

      MOTOBLADE ,
      I hear you and understand as well. In the last 5 years I have gone through 4 new motorcycles. A Can Am Spyder, I had it for a few years and my wife loved it, but to me it just wasn’t a motorcycle. Then I had a Ducati Scrambler, that I really liked. Then a Honda PCX scooter. I’m 68 and at this stage I’m just wanting to try different bikes!
      However I just bought a new Kawasaki Vulcan S and next to my Goldwing I think this is my 2nd most favorite bike. It’s just a whole lot of fun to ride and very unique compared to all my other bikes. Since you own one I think you know what I mean!😀
      However once again it’s just my opinion. I love the quickness, the adjustable riding position, the light weight, and the looks of the Vulcan S. In all honesty I’ve gotten more compliments on this bike then any other bike I’ve owned.

      Paul Farrell Same here! I absolutely love the Vulcan S. I will never trade it away or sell it. It is such a great bike and very unique. Always getting compliments on it.

      Thomas R. Smith NEVER! Can't part with her. Will have to just add to the collection. Her adopted brother will be a Harley :)

      Thomas R. Smith freaking demo rides. Can't pass the leader. I love just going for test rides, dealer guys are cool and more like riding with a buddy.

    do they pay you good for that bolony

    • @MOTOBLADE
      @MOTOBLADE  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Bubacat 1 Bolony? It's an amazing bike bro. I don't know about previous model years if they weren't any good, but the 2018 sure is great. Also, I don't get paid for anything. I just showed up to hang out and ride Harley's for fun :) Was looking for a new bike for myself personally and thought I'd share it all with you guys.

      DJ BASSGHOST BAY-BAY Thanks! Yeah, wasn't biased at all. I was trying to be critical, but give the positive things. I only did demos, so I don't feel like I could accurately give anything other than a first impression. You guys will see a video next week of a bike I did NOT like at all on my demo ride. The new Iron 1200...

      Eric Jan Ramirez Hence why I put up pictures of the bike from Harley. Ran out of battery when I got back to the dealership.

    Those bars are ugly.

    • @MOTOBLADE
      @MOTOBLADE  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Sanosuke30001 I think a matte black finish and flip those mirrors around or get bar ends would make all the difference. The position is very comfortable though.

      The shape and diameter look off too
