I feel like Kanjuro's way of thinking is more like 'this life with the kozuki clan is just a gig I do' , he's not trying to say 'he isn't that bad of a person' more like he doesn't care whats going to happen or how others view him
I always viewed Buggy as a person who missed every golden opportunity. I mean if you shunned every single possible outward boon it would leave you a bitter shel grumbling over what could have been. And I honestly don't like buggy that much, but the point is I understand him. And that is what Oda is great at. I thought it was kanjuro but based off of 2 reasons. 1. He just happened to be the one who had easy “prison time” while drawing a PERFECT wall, but can’t draw a ladder? And 2. He was the only one who had the ability to send messages across the sea

Any manga reader who hasn't read it the day it comes out on the official app and EVERY anime only will be spoiled. Especially for such an easy fix like this. Just have the title be: "The Traitor's Identity" and for the thumbnail, have all the scabbards (or just a bunch of wano characters) with a question mark near them.

I don't really see Kanjuro's speech about holding no animosity toward or desire to hurt the scabbards as trying to absolve himself of responsibility, but rather a statement of his complete and total apathy toward everything. He didn't hate them, he just didn't care about them. He didn't really want to hurt them, he just doesn't care if he did. Like Orochi said, he lost all sense of "self" and only cared about, only found pleasure in life from fulfilling the role he was given to act out. Even now, I believe his actions are just him playing up the role of a villain for dramatic effect, and he isn't actually emotionally invested in it, because he isn't emotionally invested in ANYTHING for the most part.
What if each of the family had a different devil fruit that was secretly passed down to the head of the member but the kurozumi family found out and tried to kill them and steal it which is why they have so many devil fruits. Also do you think all of the mythical creatures in wano was drawn by kanjuro or created by a different devil fruit?
I always thought it was kanjuro because when usopp meets him in the streets, he tells him to cover up more, as he barely wears a disguise(when he's selling fish). But kanjuro isnt afraid of getting caught because hes on their side anyway.. Also because he was the character that they gave the least story, up to this point
Well i honestly don't think, that anyone will kill Kanjuro during this arc because of his potential future role to Wano. I mean, I am no psychologist, but Oda made it pretty clear, that Kanjuro was traumatised in a way, that he completely rejected his own personality. He is always playing a role, like said in the chapter: "the perfect actor", in order to protect himself from himself/his past as Kurozumi. This is somewhat similar to Kawamatsu, he also does pretend to be someone else (a Kappa) in order to hide that he is a fishman. At the end I think we could have a moment with Kanjuro similar to the moment we had with Robin during Enies Lobby and he finally shows his true self. His role, after the battle, would be to proof to Momonosuke that not all Kurozumis are bad people and to empower Momonosuke to break throug that cycle of hatred between the Kozukis and the Kurozumis.
Kanjuro's line of thought is hey don't shoot the messenger.Even through hes being a clear example of why that saying came into being.Where the messenger would have their life functions ceased for delivering an upsetting message.This also means kanjuro rather than being someone who would forge his own fate.Instead decided to follow a monster.Your actions are still your own so his line of reasoning isn't valid.If someone scared you when you were a child.That dosen't excuse you giving someone else the gun to kill someone else.

6:55 About that, the first ever devil fruit we've seen is infact, Gomu-Gomu no-mi. While we didn't see full appearance of the fruit when Luffy goes to eat it as a dessert at Makino's bar: 1. We see a portion of the fruit being eaten and also see the usual circle pattern for a devil fruit. 2. After Luffy wants to leave the bar, Shanks was pull his hands and the whole bar shocked to see his hand stretch out, which implies fruit' power. 3. Then Lucky Roo realized that Gomu-Gou fruit is missing from the treasure box. From these sequence, we can say that we first see the apperance, then the power and what is does, and finally, the fruit name. Although one can imply that Shanks is explaining what the fruit really does AFTER we have informed on the name firsthand in previous panel with Lucky Roo. Just something I've thought about. Kanjuro told Orochi about Hiyori's whereabouts so assassins will most likely be sent after her. So when that does happen (because most of the alliance is headed to Kaido's island), who will protect her, Kyoshiro, or the fox?
It seems that the drawings can’t be “turned off” until their purpose is served. The doppelgänger kanjuro revealed its secret then dissipated (although it did lose its head but still spoke ‘till the end), the climbing animals disappear after they finished their climb, etc.
Kanjuro can just summon an army of young whitebeards with gura gura powers which means that if kanjuro just decides he's done with life he can take the world with him.
I could see it playing out Kinimon and Kanjuro dueling in the final battle, they're passing back words during the battle, cliché "how could you, you were our friend we trusted you" Kanjuro saying something like "do you know what I've been through, my parents killed in front of me, living on the run, starving" etc "I truly do feel bad, you were my friends, but I had a job to do" then Kinimon cuts him down, and although he was the traitor he was still a friend. This results in them not hunting down Kurozumi's so as not to repeat the past, because it can turn good people to darkness, Kanjuro wasn't bad, but what he did was bad and was a result of sins of the father, what previous generations did so steps will be taken to avoid these tragedies. This also plays into the dreams of characters like Momonosuke (no idea if I spelled that correctly), inheriting his father's name he feels responsible to be the leader and open the gates of Wano, but maybe someone else will become the leader of Wano so Momonosuke has the freedom to make his own choices, there are a lot of parallels between villains and heroes in this arc.

Why would Kanjuro draw crappy birds when they arrive into the future instead of realistic ones? Wouldn’t crappy birds flying to Orochi’s castle be suspicious?
Crappy bird is more believeable , if somehow kinemon notice , he can say "i just trying to send message to our allies/trying to scout things"
Keep in mind he’s also subtilely trying to sabotage them, so it’d be weird to see him draw really well that one time. They’d be like, “Why don’t you do more of that to help us Kanjuro?”

I don't really see Kanjuro's speech about holding no animosity toward or desire to hurt the scabbards as trying to absolve himself of responsibility, but rather a statement of his complete and total apathy toward everything. He didn't hate them, he just didn't care about them. He didn't really want to hurt them, he just doesn't care if he did. Like Orochi said, he lost all sense of "self" and only cared about, only found pleasure in life from fulfilling the role he was given to act out. Even now, I believe his actions are just him playing up the role of a villain for dramatic effect, and he isn't actually emotionally invested in it, because he isn't emotionally invested in ANYTHING for the most part.
What if each of the family had a different devil fruit that was secretly passed down to the head of the member but the kurozumi family found out and tried to kill them and steal it which is why they have so many devil fruits. Also do you think all of the mythical creatures in wano was drawn by kanjuro or created by a different devil fruit?

Well i honestly don't think, that anyone will kill Kanjuro during this arc because of his potential future role to Wano.
I mean, I am no psychologist, but Oda made it pretty clear, that Kanjuro was traumatised in a way, that he completely rejected his own personality. He is always playing a role, like said in the chapter: "the perfect actor", in order to protect himself from himself/his past as Kurozumi. This is somewhat similar to Kawamatsu, he also does pretend to be someone else (a Kappa) in order to hide that he is a fishman.
At the end I think we could have a moment with Kanjuro similar to the moment we had with Robin during Enies Lobby and he finally shows his true self.
His role, after the battle, would be to proof to Momonosuke that not all Kurozumis are bad people and to empower Momonosuke to break throug that cycle of hatred between the Kozukis and the Kurozumis.
I can guarantee you that Tekking101 will never catch the coronavirus

About that, the first ever devil fruit we've seen is infact, Gomu-Gomu no-mi.
While we didn't see full appearance of the fruit when Luffy goes to eat it as a dessert at Makino's bar:
1. We see a portion of the fruit being eaten and also see the usual circle pattern for a devil fruit.
2. After Luffy wants to leave the bar, Shanks was pull his hands and the whole bar shocked to see his hand stretch out, which implies fruit' power.
3. Then Lucky Roo realized that Gomu-Gou fruit is missing from the treasure box.
From these sequence, we can say that we first see the apperance, then the power and what is does, and finally, the fruit name. Although one can imply that Shanks is explaining what the fruit really does AFTER we have informed on the name firsthand in previous panel with Lucky Roo.
All of these are from Manga Chapter 1, not the anime, and based on what I remember. Feel free to CMIIW and discuss!

Every Kurozumi we’ve seen so far has turned into an a-hole. Maybe genocide wasn’t the problem. Doing a crappie job at genocide was the mistake.
The reason he turned into one because the country killed his family for being related to an asshole. Remember his parents were killed in front of him. He didn't deserve that as much as Ace didn't deserve it because he was Roger's son. He was made into an unfeeling monster.

Just something I've thought about. Kanjuro told Orochi about Hiyori's whereabouts so assassins will most likely be sent after her. So when that does happen (because most of the alliance is headed to Kaido's island), who will protect her, Kyoshiro, or the fox?

It seems that the drawings can’t be “turned off” until their purpose is served. The doppelgänger kanjuro revealed its secret then dissipated (although it did lose its head but still spoke ‘till the end), the climbing animals disappear after they finished their climb, etc.
Kanjuro can just summon an army of young whitebeards with gura gura powers which means that if kanjuro just decides he's done with life he can take the world with him.
I could see it playing out Kinimon and Kanjuro dueling in the final battle, they're passing back words during the battle, cliché "how could you, you were our friend we trusted you" Kanjuro saying something like "do you know what I've been through, my parents killed in front of me, living on the run, starving" etc "I truly do feel bad, you were my friends, but I had a job to do" then Kinimon cuts him down, and although he was the traitor he was still a friend. This results in them not hunting down Kurozumi's so as not to repeat the past, because it can turn good people to darkness, Kanjuro wasn't bad, but what he did was bad and was a result of sins of the father, what previous generations did so steps will be taken to avoid these tragedies. This also plays into the dreams of characters like Momonosuke (no idea if I spelled that correctly), inheriting his father's name he feels responsible to be the leader and open the gates of Wano, but maybe someone else will become the leader of Wano so Momonosuke has the freedom to make his own choices, there are a lot of parallels between villains and heroes in this arc.
