I believe the explanation behind the pacifistas' blood was in the sabaody episodes of the anime. Also, with the recent clonation technology shown by Judge Vinsmoke, I'm more with 'Vegapunk took notes and recreated the project he worked with his colleague Judge, then added Cyborg modifications'
I just realized that there is a lot of teen titan characters in One piece. There is demon child Robin, cyborg Franky, Chopper as Beast Boy, Karasu as Raven - just because of the name, Starfire and Terra are vague but ability-wise maybe Ace and crocodile. For villain, Cinderblock as Pika, Gizmo as Lindberg, Jinx as Bakara or Perona, Mammoth as Jack. No slade candidate though, maybe Sabo, Kuro, or Zoro.
just a few ideas I had while watching. Maybe when Franky was in Baltimore he saw that vegapunk used a similar system such as a beverage as a power source. this is because franky took so much inspiration and ideas from vegapunks notes that he would've most likely changed his power source if it was more effective but if vegapunk and Franky had similar ideas about energy sources then this could explain why the pacifistas bleed especially if you think about in real-world science terms, fruit such as tomatoes and lemons are often used as basic batteries and so the pasifsitas could be running on some kind of tomato oil that allows them to perform at the best of their ability. or I could be thinking about this way too much. :/
How about a video covering different ship types and sizes in One Piece? Even Sunny, which is already much bigger than Merry, is super tiny in comparison to other ships like Big Mom's, Shank's Red Force and the Moby Dick. A comparison to real life ships might be fun as well, especialy when looking at crew sizes between the two.
Easy way to tell difference being machine and living organism. Robot - A machine built to fulfill a task Ex; assembly line crane Android - A machine built to mimic living beings. Ex; Megaman. Built it to protect and serve humanity but also be able to interact and live with humans. Cyborg - A living being having mechanical parts added it to fulfill a task. Ex; Cyborg from DC Comics/Teen Titans. Frankly and Kuma fulfill the last category. I’d say for something to classify as a cyborg, machinery would need to be integral to someone’s body for it to count.
I think the PX series are clones made from Kuma that have had much more modifications done to them. We have already seen from the Germma that cloning is possible, so altering them after or during their development wouldn’t be that far of a starch. Tekking had also forgotten about the one piece move “The Giant Mechanical Soldier of Karakuri Castle”. That one had two other cyborgs and a guy who could build some crazy mechanical stuff. The final battle of the move was Luffy vs a giant robot if I remember correctly.
I assumed that the pacifista were clones of the original Kuma, and that Vegapunk used the same technology as the Germa 66 as it was stated Judge and Vegpunk worked together at some point in the past. It would explain the blood!
I think that the Pacifistas are probably made the same way as the Germa 66 soldiers. Remember Vegapunk used to work with Judge on cloning, and they've shown that they're able to add cybernetic enhancements to people's bodies like with Sanji's siblings. So I think the Pacifistas all look like Kuma because they're all literally clones of him with cybernetic enhancements.
Hey Tekking! I'm glad you made a Franky related video, because I thought of a potential power up for him. So I assume its the sugar amd caffeine that powers Frankys body. So if he were to use some sort of energy drink then he would become MUCH more powerful. I just wanted your opinion on this idea
I wonder if different carbonated drinks work differently. Mountain dew Franky is a frightening thought. Also wanted to add I think the pacifistas are clones of Kuma with modifications. Vegapunk worked with Germa so he would likely know the same things they do. Just a thought.
Cybernetics is defined as "the science of communications and automatic control systems in both machines and living things." So by that logic, no I don't think Kid would be considered a cyborg since there's no automatic control component to it.
No, yeah I remember during Sabaody I believe there was like a passing mention that all the pacifistas are made from test subjects or something like that and they are altered to look like Kuma. I want to say it was Sentomaru who said something about it? but I can't remember exactly
Mu guess for the blood is that its actually an oil/coolant mixture. It would make sense they need lubrication and a coolant system since theyre machines
I always figured early on the blood was because when a single pacifista appeared everyone confused them for being Kuma. The government before the time skip could use that as an advantage as they could pass the pacifista as Kuma. After its maybe to grant them a sense of humanity? Even if they are simply humanoid robots
The way One Piece is set up to go between islands that can be made to feel like different shows is why it's so interesting. One arc you feel relatively normal, the next you're in heaven, then you go to hell, then you go to... It allows Oda to visit all the places he wants to visit in island form and introduce so many different characters.
Love the lil dip into Transhumanism discussion!!! Yes, by definition, everyone with a Pacemaker is a Cyborg. We just don't think of them as cyborgs because it's such a small amount of biomechanical intervention, but they are absolutely cyborgs. I hope technology continues to improve as we push the boundries of transhumanism!
I'm kinda hoping Vegapunk will discover sky island tech and reintroduce dials to onepiece's combat. Think about it, a Pacifista (or some other user) with some seastone and an improved artificial Reject dial? You could do some serious damage to a majority of players on the blue sea without having the user having to be supremely over powered.
I think Kaido's son is a cyborg as Yamato is named for a famous battleship in the Japanese Navy and he leads Kaido's cybernetic division of which Iron Boy Scotch was a member
It could be that Vegapunk made it possible for pacifista’s to bleed, because they don’t feel light injuries or dmg. If something of the outer layer is dmged it wouldn’t send alarms to them(probably), so Vegapunk just made more human. More appealing to the eye and because it would be easier to body check them.
Just came back to this and I thought about why the blood? If Vegapunk works for the Revolutionary Army in secret, maybe the Pacifistas are a way to switch the place of Kuma. Like of they bleed and are all machine, and Kuma is fully machine mentally. It would be hard to distinguish between a Pacifista or Kuma. Maybe if they can get Kuma out of Pangea Castle somehow, then switch his place wit a Pacifista. Maybe that's the true goal of Sabo getting captured.
I believe you forgot the one of the subordinate captain of the Whitebeard pirates, Vitan is also a cyborg. You know the guy who looks like the tin man with giant claw hands and only appeared in one panel.
Another thing to think about is Queen's arm when he goes full Brachiosaurus. It's said that the arm transforms with him, but is that because he built it to do that, or because his Zoan powers transform the arm, like how other Zoan's clothes adjust when they transform?
Yesterday, I had no time to watch this video whole, but man, I'm glad I did today ! Tekking matey, u've got amazin way of thinkin ! keep it up. btw: take care. blm edit: Xd dat story
Kuma with the castle castle fruit. Idk if he kept his paw paw fruit when he went full cyborg mode but the castle fruit on an upgradable cyborg would be op as hell
Random thought but, you remember holy the dog? From sky island, could he possibly be the dogs parent that was guarding the shop in that town where Luffy fought buggy? They look very similar.
So do you think it'd be possible for the marines to do an operation that inserts a certain sized piece of sea prism into a devil fruit user? I feel like that'd be a pretty good way to stop devil fruit users they've captured.
I always figured the Pacifistas were 'human-like' because they were clones of Kuma and then in Totland we learned not only that cloning is a thing but Vegapunk was working on it when the WG picked him up, which for me all but confirms it.
Franky is definitely my favorite cyborg in the story. I really miss his original appearance cuz that was really SUPER!!! As for what the other cyborgs run off, I was thinking maybe the Pacifistas need blood, because that is what they are powered by.
Question: I find it interesting that they really haven’t made it very clear how strong Franky is? I seen your video about Franky and Kuma but I’m curious who you think is stronger? After the skip I would have liked to see Franky against a Pacifista, who do you think is stronger at this point (Wano)? I don’t think Franky gets enough credit, he built his original body from scraps while half dead but was left with the dr top secret plans and information for two years. I feel like he should be crazy powerful post time skip. Thoughts?
I don't even watch or read one piece but I totally enjoy the energy and enthusiasm you have in these videos. Makes me want to start it now.

I've noticed how often tekking says stuff like "so yeah, there's that" and now I can't unhear it every single time and it's driving me crazy
Maaan that mechanical jet piston arm imitation is good Matt! @27:50
just a few ideas I had while watching.
Kaido has cyborgs in the form of those masked subordinates with the eye logo
Easy way to tell difference being machine and living organism.
Robot - A machine built to fulfill a task
Ex; assembly line crane
Android - A machine built to mimic living beings.
So basically we might get automail from full metal alchemist
So are we not gonna talk about how clean this throw was at 0:29
I think that the Pacifistas are probably made the same way as the Germa 66 soldiers.
I've always connected it to the brain and integrated systems. So i wouldn't consider Kid to be one either he just has a prosthetic.
Oh yeah i wanted to thank SQueal leonbart for recomending Clannad it was a realy emotianl anime
Im gonna start dressing up to watch the videos aswell
Tekking you should make a team battle comparison between the Shichibukai and the Yonko Commanders, it would be awesome!
I’ll always love and appreciate those intros
19:01 No that's just a robotic suit
Mega Man = Cyborg
Samus Aran = badass chick with a laser cannon on her arm
Hey tekking. What do you think oda has in store for chapter 1000?
I think the pacifistas are cyborgified clones of Kuma, basically the best technology combined with the best bodies
9:50 you made a video in the past taking about how pasafistas were made with prisoners that were turned into Kuma lookalikes.
Another thing to think about is Queen's arm when he goes full Brachiosaurus. It's said that the arm transforms with him, but is that because he built it to do that, or because his Zoan powers transform the arm, like how other Zoan's clothes adjust when they transform?
That intro was SUPER!!
That "super!!!!" in the Introduction on point 👌🏽
Yesterday, I had no time to watch this video whole, but man, I'm glad I did today !
Tekking matey, u've got amazin way of thinkin ! keep it up.
btw: take care. blm
edit: Xd dat story
Kuma with the castle castle fruit. Idk if he kept his paw paw fruit when he went full cyborg mode but the castle fruit on an upgradable cyborg would be op as hell
Random thought but, you remember holy the dog? From sky island, could he possibly be the dogs parent that was guarding the shop in that town where Luffy fought buggy? They look very similar.
So do you think it'd be possible for the marines to do an operation that inserts a certain sized piece of sea prism into a devil fruit user? I feel like that'd be a pretty good way to stop devil fruit users they've captured.
You should read “cyborg manifesto” by Donna harroway. The entire article is about this idea of what constitutes a cyborg lmao
I always figured the Pacifistas were 'human-like' because they were clones of Kuma and then in Totland we learned not only that cloning is a thing but Vegapunk was working on it when the WG picked him up, which for me all but confirms it.
for some reason I can ONLY fall asleep while listening to one of your videos
only true madlads can have a one piece video but reference a classic like Teen titans, good job
A person with a pacemaker would be a synth. Because the pacemaker is a synth component. The guy with "diet" Jax arms is a cyborg.
On the most recent virgin podcast they rosted you for having Franky as your favorite.
I totally disagree, Franky is my personal favorite as well
I dont really like Franky originally before I start watching One piece, until I watched Water 7 arc
Franky is definitely my favorite cyborg in the story. I really miss his original appearance cuz that was really SUPER!!!
As for what the other cyborgs run off, I was thinking maybe the Pacifistas need blood, because that is what they are powered by.
Looks like he has awakened his Cringe Cringe No Mi Devil Fruit.
I enjoy his cringe 😂😂
It looks like advanced awakening
Cringe cringe no mi plus ultra!
Random idea but since the pacifista are machines and machines usually need some form of coolant. the blood could be a type of coolant.
Thoughts?
