Drake's jolly roger is so well planned by Oda. It doesn't have a skull, looks like a Marine sign and his bounty 220 million if read backwards (the first word) translates to fake bounty.

@@Broockle Drake’s bounty is 222,000,000 beli. In Japanese it’s read as “niokunisennihyakuman”. If you take the first part “nioku nise” and reverse it to “nise nioku” it would give it the new meaning of “false 200 million” meaning his bounty is fake.

The lines on Kaido's jolly roger represent the lines on a Japanese helmet. Like the one Yoshimitsu wears or some Samurai -- makes sense because its the land of the Samurai.

Jovanny Diaz Abad I think he gets a lot of the figures and sent to him by fans, and maybe one of the swords. Also I mean when you think about it those things are basically business expenses for him, so he doesn’t need a lot of money to justify buying them. TH-cam is his real job after all, and those things all end up being props of some kind in his videos which make them much easier to justify buying

The lines on Kaido's flag are actually the kanji for 8, and could represent the backing of the beast pirates by Wano kuni and Orochi, the eight headed serpent.

Arlong also was more of a pragmatist. He didn't really go out of his way to terrorize the village. Sure he was ruthless and would slaughter whenever he fancied it but he didn't really do much to provoke the population. He also was quite a bit more flexible and was willing to make deals with humans if it was in his best interests. Houdy was an idealist who antagonized most of fishmen island. Also if the Noah had indeed crashed Houdy would have been screwed. I mean he doesn't have many resources and he can't rebuild fishmen island. Also his 2 best warriors have very little loyalty to him so if things get tough they would just leave. I would think if the Strawhats hadn't come there would have been a mass uprising very soon. Sure Houdy has the 100.000 fishmen but the nation has a population more than 50 times that and the people hated him more and more.
Arlong however had a stable power, good relations with the marines and a very loyal crew. He was essentially a mini yonko.

I have no exact answer yet, but x is somewhere between 1,4 and 1,5.
Ok, it turns out that I made a mistake with 1,5². Your x-values are correct though.

7-7=0 anything/0=0 so x=7

@@r4nd0mguy99 What you do is you take both sets of parentheses in the numerator, separate them, and set them both equal to 0. so 2x-3 = 0 and x+5 = 0. Solve from there.
2x-3=0 / 2x=3 / x=3/2. x+5=0 / x=-5. You don't have to turn it into a quadratic equation in order to solve it.
In fact usually you make a quadratic equation more basic like this so it is easier to solve, unless there were no common factors that would allow you to solve the equation in this way. You get to the same solution much easier and much faster. Just a little tip next time you need to solve a quadratic equation.

Clearly the most relevant feature added in the New Giant Warrior Pirates' jolly roger was a nostril.
About the own unique flags for all the Straw Hats, they aren't featured in the story obviously, but aside from the sketches they all have Pre and Post-Timeskip versions made for Pirate Warriors 3 and are used on the loading screen's background so there is that.
I always thought “jolly Roger” was the name of Captain Hooks ship like Peter Pan worst enemy I could be totally wrong but in our world I always thought that’s where “Jolly Roger” came from.

Other differences between the Jolly Roger of the New and Old Giant Pirates:
- The swords are mirrored and have differently shaped hilts.
- The skull on the more recent flag has a nose.

Weird I got x1=-5 x2=3/7 And it sloves equal to 0 with both, if you use x=1,5 you get the equation equal to -195/22 =~ -8,86363636363... ?
How I got there: multiply by (x-7) that leaves (7x-3)(x+5)=0 which is equal to 7x²+35x-3x-15=0 ->7x²+32x-15=0
Then use quadratic formula and asume: ax² + bx + c = 0 then A=7 ; B=32 ; C=-15
Then apply quadratic formula ( ! the generell case formula if the "A" infront of X IS NOT equal to 1 ! ): x1,2 = (-b +- sqr[ b² - 4ac ] )/2a
I believe there is enough material to understand how the formula works and asume differing results may have resulted from aproximations using the a=1 formula which is also known as PQ-formula ( x1,2 = - (b/2) + - sqr[ (b/2)² - c ] ) , or doing something to the double negative in that formula.
@@EnraEnerato theres really no need for that many steps.Knowing that the only way to get 0 in the equation is that the numerator is 0 you can simply just forget the denominator and just do (2x-3)(x+5)=0 which, when done, should be 2x(squared)+7x-15=0 you then use the quadratic formula and the answers you get from it are 3/2 (or 1.5) and -5
I tried doing it with 3/7 and i got something close to 1.77 and with 5 i got -35 both clearly not being 0, maybe you copied the equation wrong?
To demonstrate why -5 and 3/2 are the right answer:
x=-5 ((2*(-5)-3)*(-5+5))/x-7=0-----> -13*0/x-7=0-------> 0/x-7=-------->0=0
x=3/2 ((2*(3/2)-3)*(3/2+5)/x-7=0------> ((3-3)*(13/2))/x-7=0--------> (0*13/2)/x-7=0------> 0/x-7=0------->0=0
@@rodrigolopezvillegas4272 I went back and looked at my equation close up, while watching the video on pc instead of phone, found the mistake, I had solved for "(7x-3)(x+5)=0" instead for "(2x-3)(x+5)=0". A copy mistake when writing down the equation... Good thing this didn't happen in an exam, that would've been 0pts for some efford, while the biggest enemy is time therefore time wasted is bad, really bad...
When using the actual equation it's x1=-5 and x2=2/3, I still use the longer notation, I want to avoid the whole "And here occurs a miracle" point, that's where I usually get points shaved off in exams, because that's what those grading my tests want to see. But that's why I posted the full way, so that it would be somewhat noticiable and someone could see where the mistake happened. When the majority has a different solution then I do I usually doubt my own solution, if there is one thing I'm certein of, I make mistakes, dumb one, like scribbling down a 7 when it's actually 2...
Other then that I find it interesting, if you graph the equation it seems that the x=-5 point and everything left of that doesn't seem to change much, quite interesting to compare and visualize how every step like getting rid of the (x-7) turns it upside down and pulls the curve further appart etc.

Don Krieg’s Jolly Roger kicked off the badass flags, then Wapol’s ship itself was badass. Finally when Kaido’s Jolly Roger was revealed was amazingly badass! (Big mom’s ship was badass in the same way, but for ships)
For Kito me personally, when I look at the curved lines, it hints at a Kanji which would hint at him running Wano. Also for Big mom wouldn't the tree be the bush would be the bush that Jinbei shoved into her mouth. Cause I think it was said it was one of her favorite things so that's my guess. The cutlass hilts actually make no sense too because the only way to hold those swords with a hand guard like that is if the back of the sword is facing forward. I suppose they could be kukri, but that doesn't really work either. Also there is a nose on the new flag.

To my knowledge, pirates would only fly a jolly roger/black flag when they intended to kill everyone. Usually they would fly the flag of merchants or various nations to get people to drop their guards
The black flag was actually to do with they are willing to show mercy if you give up right then and there the red flag was used when they were going to kill you no matter white
I love the jolly roger of Law. For me it also resembles a little gear meaning that his brain is always working on a new strategy, but with little fantasy it can also resemble a sketch of a virus, which also suits the Surgeon of Death

It's Always intresting about the swastika it's the rune for the sun and many museums in Sweden have them on old Stones which sometimes makes turists confused, and yes Hitler took the symbol because it represented the sun...He ruined a rune, and a name

You know, as much as I like a cool, intimidating design, I think that the simpler ones are the best. I kind of think about a Jolly Roger as a flag of a country/city. A restricted color pallete, minimalistic design, would be recognizable from miles away, could be drawn by a child. Also they shouldn't have writing.
Some of my favorites aren't even skulls, such as Law's or Doflamingo's, or that early Kid's version. I wish they stuck to it, kind of, it's uncanny. Big Mom's though makes sense to be the way it is, partly because of how Totto Land is, and partly because in a way she never grew up, and that flag kinda looks like something a child with too many crayons would draw to me
Yeah definitely looks like a little kid did it especially considering big mom has so many kids herself. I've always like the minimalist designs also. If a flag has too much on it it takes away from it as a symbol. Ones like luffys or laws are simple and to the point and the design makes it easy for people to remember unlike some who have entirely too much going in theirs. Like they were trying to hard

This theory has been brought up before however it would be one most would follow considering kizaru can already shine brighter during the day or make it shine anywhere as an awakening while blackbeard's is different where it has to be dark completely like night with no moon shining over his power will get an increase and most likely will make his body intangible
