When you're a billionaire, it might be an even more special occasion if you DON'T wear a suit.
Consider this, Mark Cuban, being a businessman, probably wears a suit 24/7! Humans are smart animals (well, most of them, anyways), and we get accustomed to patterns. It's common for a recurring theme to lose its "speciality". Therefore, if Mark Cuban comes in casual attire, it might show that he cares about someone, and dresses differently to an occasion.
Or maybe he just doesn't want to feel prejudiced because he has a lot of money, and wants to relate to an "audience" image more.

That IS a valid question, and I wondered the same thing, although he did have 2 business partners speak at the convention: Phil Ruffin and Tom Barrack. Many other business leaders who know him have endorsed him publicly and privately. Stop trying to look at things so simply. It IS valid though to want to hear more from them, we simply don't have enough information about his business record, then again, where is the media coverage of Hillary covering up for Bill and intimidating his sexual assault victims for the last 30 years? Where is the coverage of THAT?

All news channels have foibles if you look hard enough. NPR from my experience has been quite politically neutral, and the occasional mistakes they do make stems from a lack of diligence or personal leanings of a particular writer or columnist.
Channels like Fox on the other hand, deliberately misrepresent, construe, or withhold facts regularly to suggest a particular political view in their stories.

Ya, he explained it poorly, and it's a stupid reason to discourage 3rd party runs. As if we needed more proof that we need a viable third party we have Trump or Hillary becoming the most powerful person on earth. We'll be stuck with the "lesser of two evils" forever with this mentality. I was disappointed with Cuban here. He let Colbert drive the conversation and make the two seem way more ideologically compatible than they actually are. Ideologically he's more along the lines of moderate libertarianism but he didn't espouse anything of his own, just acted as Colbert's Trump-bashing puppet.
+Scott Daniels I agree, the only way for real democracy to flourish is to amend that part of the 12th because it is inherently anti-democratic, we should have a multi party system without fear of having the House of Rep having to select in that kind of event.
Two things: 1. In the event of a tie it's actually the newly elected congress that votes, so if the democrats retake the house in this election it would no longer be Ryan controlled.
2. The best way to open things up and allow more parties to have influence is to get rid of the electoral college and its "winner take all" system

It is mathematically impossible for a “third party” to be viable in the US. Search for “first past the post,” and watch the video by CGP Grey on the subject: it is a brilliantly succinct explanation. FYI, I think we should: remove all control of our electoral process from political parties, eliminate the electoral college, and change to a single transferable vote electoral system.
Once all that has been done, the hard work begins: finding good candidates for office.
