For corporations able to carry over losses from prior years is good for smaller corporations that are trying to succeed. The problem is with bigger corporations abusing the law. Big corporations commonly use it as a loophole to pay little or no taxes.

As an outsider living in U.S from past 4 years, I can assure you that your country has become the laughing stock of the world in just a matter of one year. This is sad, and yes racism is very real in America. I have lived in Australia, Canada, India, Dubai and now U.S, and I really feel that Americans are tone deaf towards acknowledging racism. I don't know why Americans lose their shit when someone facing racism tells them the truth about their country. The problem with being able to take risks and it then become some sort of tax break if it doesnt work out is ... you end up with a lot of junk ... garbage ... waste .... something to fill the landfills and oceans . I beg to differ with Mr. Cubans analysis of Donald Trump. The meltdown of 2008 caused the bankruptcy of many casinos. I would like to address the Taj Mahal in Atlantic City. The developer went bankrupt, Donald Trump came in and tried to resurrect the project, which in fact he did, he ran it for many years. I give you that Donald Trump can make a great deal, but his follow-through leaves something to be desired. In the time that he resurrected the Taj Mahal project, he lost several key people in his organization due to a helicopter crash. Even if they had survived that crash I do not believe that he would have been able to get through the deep waters of the meltdown. Also Mr. Cubans remark about selling the paper to the shareholders of the casinos, I agree. Mr. Trump conferred that risk to the shareholders, and relieved himself personally, as I understand he gave personal guarantees for that paper. I had a small store in a regional mall in Pennsylvania in 1985. I went to a brass place in Brooklyn off The BQE, and exit on cosmopolitan Avenue. These people spoke glowingly of Mr. Trump. All the people that I have met that know him personally over the years have spoken highly of him. A Reference to Mr. Buffett, I believe is a comparison of apples to oranges.
