Yuca / Manioc / Cassava is maybe the most traditional ingredient in brazilian cuisine from north to south. We have plenty of dishes that are based on it, for exemple: 1) Tapioca: A crepe with butter or with some other filling (just like a tortilla, but tapioca based); 2) Farofa: fried manioc flour with ingredients that can change depending on the place. Perfect as a side dish; 3) Pirão: Thick fish sauce, used as a side dish of Moqueca; 4) Shrimp Bobó: Thick shrimp stew, very very very tasty! 5) Tropeiro beans: Just like Farofa, but with sausages, eggs, cabbage and beans. Almost a full meal; 6) Tutú Beans: Looks like a thick feijoada, but with Torresmo (Chincharon/Crackling). Almost like a Beans Puree. We also eat fried or boiled Cassava as a side dish in most of the plates.

Na verdade, a grande maioria dos estrangeiros dizem que gostaram da nossa feijoada mais por educação do que sinceridade, afinal é nosso prato nacional e portanto é recomendável dizer que é delicioso pra não ofender nossa sensibilidade. oh man, feijoada tastes good but generally messes up your digestive system! Glad you liked it but try not to overdo it!! :)
Ok!!
OMG I love the place u went to. Amazing!!!
Yeah I love the restaurant!
The green stuff is not Kale, is Collard Greens, Kale has a different flavor and texture, definitely doesn't fit the dish.
I really like it! It's originally from the northeast of the country where I live, you should try eating it here as well as the other amazing regional foods we have!
George, im not sure how youtube video titles works, but if you are able to somehow enable the title to be translated to portuguese (or even just use portuguese) i believe you could attract a lot of brazilians to your channel. Brazilians love videos about their country and many foreigners who use portuguese title get higher chances to be noticed and go viral.
Yeah I know, but I need someone who understands Japanese and English to translate🙏
These street açaís are too sweet. Try the one at Tacaca do Norte, it's a real Northern Brazilian experience.
Ok!!
there is no "real" açai. Each region of Brazil has its own way of preparing açaí and eating it. Vocês do norte são insuportáveis com essa pataquada em tudo quanto é vídeo sobre açaí pqp
A mulher que vende açai falando que o primo dela eera o Yuji KAKAKAKAKAK amo essas mentira leve KAKAKAKKA
Hi George, you need to eat "Dobradinha".
