The 1-4-3-3 formation is now the standard formation used by most teams. Liverpool, Manchester City and Barcelona to name a few.
The 1-4-3-3 formation can help a team to play out from the back, build in midfield and have more players in attack. It is also the go-to formation if a team wants to press.
In this video we will explore the 1-4-3-3 formation in great detail. We will look at the basic structure, variations, in possession benefits, out of possession benefits and some of the weaknesses that the formation has.

Great 👍stuff ! Like the option of having a single or double pivot in the midfield which gives you a numerical advantage when in possession .

Absolutely. It's no surprise most teams use a base of the 4-3-3. It's the most versatile positionally

greetings coach. I am an avid follower of your content. What program do you use while making this animation that I want to learn from you? How did you place and move the players in this animation? I want to create content myself. Thank you so much for guiding me.

Coach...why when citing the formation, you include the goalkeeper?
    I believe its not necessary.

Also, I love the visualization of the Maestro for technical excellence at the end. DS21

    • @CoachReese

Hi Ignis, the reason for it is because that's how coaches in England have been educated through coaching courses. We are told to include the goalkeeper. It's focused more around development (academy and junior) football
