You should put it horizontally to fully make use of the liquid metal coolant. Otherwise the cooling is uneven, and will cause some parts of the ps5 to be more cooled than others. You definitely want to distribute the coolant.

I advise you not to put the ps5 upright, since there are some reports stating that the thermal paste spreaded past the cpu to other components. Though it shouldn't necessarily be a problem and upright looks better

Try connecting your ps5 hdmi 2.1 cable in hdmi 3 (arc) / hdmi 4 port to get the best results of ps5 smoothness 4k at 120hz . Hdmi 1 & 2 gives upto 4k 60hz . Cheers

Its better to buy disc version since you can play ps4 games if yoh have disc of it. Digital games can be bought from store even on disc edition so I dont think of point to buy digital edition.
