I bought one even after another reviewer said the sprayer was weak. When I turned it on, it was already primed w/fluid. The width of the spray was as impressive and the vacuum suction allowed my couch to dry in a few hours. I bought the couch used, the fabric looked great but what the Hoover took out was really gross. Glad I bought it.

What sprayer was weak?
@@cameronbateau6510 Someone said the sprayer was weak but actually they hadn't primed the sprayer. The sprayer worked great after priming.

Yes I agree, very clearly explained video, video was easy to see all the parts, no silly jokes or unnecessary talking, straight to the point. The vacuum looks well designed and anyone should be able to prime this unit with the great explanation
Got this for christmas from my parents. Being a 22 year old I simply throughout the manual but then i didnt know how to use it and watching this made is so easy thankyou!!!!!!
After watching the videos I went out to Walmart and found it for $119 USD. I had a printout from their site on the internet for $99.00 USD.
They gave me the discount. After watching several videos like this one we put the detergent it in and started to clean some chairs.
WOW... you talk about how good it works. It pulled out years of dirt from the chairs and bar stool.
For $99.00 USD it is definitely worth the money.

ADVICE FOR EEVERYONES.
Spill the solution, scrach the surface with the brush before vacuun it. I mean, let the solution WORK first. Great Video thought.

Bought this several months ago after watching this video, it stayed securely in the box... until now, we had gone away and our cooler had meat and ice to keep the meat clold until we reached our destination, the plug on the cooler wasn't sealed and needless to say it was an awful mess. We weren't home so couldn't pull our little hoover out. Treated it as well as we could and drove home with the windows down... anyway, finally pulled the hoover out of the box and rewatched the video. Got it primed and hit those nasty stains in the auto. It pulled up a lot, I may need to hit it again but it certainly looks better. Thanks for the tips!

Bought one for use on vehicle upholstery. Soda, tea and coffee mainly. Tried on small carpet square first for practice. I only mixed half tank and didn’t need to prime and spray good. Return tank filled up kind of quick and had to empty it. I did go over carpet twice though. Cleaned pretty good.

Excellent VID. I have one on order. Like the bit with the pump priming, it will help if mine needs to be primed. Shows what all the parts do and how to remove and replace the tanks without forcing them.

Thank you! It explains why many people prefer to spray a cleaning solution with an external sprayer and then vacuum. They have to prime the FH14010 sprayer.

Thanks, this is much better than the instructions that came with the machine (inadequate at best). I have the problem with fluid not coming out. I will try your suggestion of priming the hose, which seems like a pain.

I didn't have any issues straight out of the box. My spray was more evenly spread out as well. Only used it once so far on old 'stains' that I had already manually cleaned and it appears to do the trick. At least I got dirty water, so that's good!

I bought it from Amazon and it was obviously a return (box taped shut) and came without a manual or measuring cup. After a bit of hunting around the Hoover sites I realized I was being an idiot, that I should just re-watch your video. And there it was: the measuring cup was on top of the cleaning solution bottle and since you'd already mentioned that it was 1 oz or .5 oz I didn't have to double check the machine to know what I need to buy. Once I have the machine set up I'll re-watch the part about priming the pump.

Great build, aesthetics, light weight and compact but not powerful enough to lift very old stains. Also has problems with suction when emptying bad water into the tank/reservoir . Follow tips as mentioned in the awesome step by step instructional video. What works best I find is when you attach the small cleaner and then turn on the machine and let water run 1-2 minutes).
I am sure they'll better this product in the upcoming years

Any idea if a bissell's water spray hose pump has to be primed too? for this hoover, would it increase the spray power of the spray if you leave the bread tie on (careful not to let it drop into the tank during operation) to keep the flap of the cleaning solution container opened for the priming? There could be a vacuum in the container which is holding the solution back

Been hee-hawing on buying one of these to replace my Little Green, which is collecting more and more duct tape over time. Only thing is I wish it included a smaller regular scrub brush for car seats. This video probably saved quite a few returns with the tips on priming the hose-squirty-part; thanks!

I bought a Cleanslate a few months ago and absolutely love it! However, the hose did rip open right where it meets the spray wand. It appears that many others have had this issue with the Cleanslate as well. I used gorilla tape to seal the damaged area and Hoover support is sending me a replacement unit. Hopefully the new one will last longer but if it fails, I’m going for the Kenmoore Spot Lite that you reviewed.

Just bought it here in Canada. Up here, it comes with a suction head that is about half as wide and does not include the detailing tool. Instead, it comes with two sets of bristles, one similar to the vid, and the second has silicon little spikes. The rest is the same. PS: I didn't have to prime mine

Pretty sure it has better “suction” with the narrower head, the ~4 inch wide one. Usually found with the pet kit. Not the 7inch wide head

I was rinsing the lid for the dirty water tank and got water above the tank in that clear compartment that the hose rinse is connected to. Any way to get that dried out?
It's rather subject, but how wet does it leave the carpet? Say on a scale of 0 (very wet) - 100 (perfectly dry).

My sprayer stopped working after a few uses,I tried the troubleshooting priming trick and it still won't spray!!
I have nothing but good things to say about this machine; however, I do have one complaint, and that is that the waste water tank cannot be completely cleaned because part of the dog hair and dirt gets trapped between the inlet and the tank itself. It appears as though that is a cover that slides over the inlet tube, and you would think that it could be removed, but I have tried with a rubber gripper to remove it and I’ve tried to find information about how to reach the dirt, but to no avail. Am I missing something?

It would be better if the whole hose came off to clean out in the sink. I have a little green machine and the hose is a gross trap for dirt and goop. And difficult to clean.

How would you feel about using this to clean out a 7yr old couch? Should I use something like this or steam cleaner?
I just ordered this today to do couches, my dining chairs, rocking chair, and oriental rugs. Haven’t used it yet but spot cleaners like this can be used for upholstery. Just use hot water from the tap and test your cleaning solution in a hidden spot first. Good luck if you haven’t done it yet.
Your spray fan needs some work too. The spray fan is much wider in the one I just used at a friend's house just bought it. It worked phenomenally well. I used to clean carpet and this thing is amazing.
