2:55 interesting dots on the cowling, also the Rb211 sounds like at reduced power, not like the 757 needs full power typically ;) Also love the "time to climb" at 8:43

I just realize that the acceleration of older planes is much slower than the newer ones or they're just probably heavy.
not really...a number of factors determine acceleration speed including weight !!!! some are lighter than some

It's to create small turbulens pockets around the engine to make the air smoothly flow over the engine body and decrease the drag behind the engine because of a smaller low pressure zone

Mistake with Il-76. Soloviev D-30KP are old engines, which currently are not being produced and have been installing on the old Il-76s versions. The one on this video has never Soloviev PS-90 engines.
Anyone an idea why BA is operating the 777 with Trent and the GE`s on their 777-200 ?
They were supposedly the launch costumer for the first GE powered 777 but since the engine was absolutely shite riddled with issues, they ordered trent 800 777s afterwards. BA kept the aircraft operating GE engines and incorporated the RR engined 777. That's why they have both engine variants in their fleet

The Trent 700 are on the A330 family...Trent 800 are on the 777 family....Trent 900 are on the A380 family and the Trent 1000 are on the 787 family :)... i hope this helps !!!
