    These are the basics -
    1. Make sure you are in the right market.
    2. Targetting the right segment.
    3. Your offering is good and delivers value.
    4. Execute on above every single day.

Sam you appear to be the first one to me who doesn't upload to only hear himself speak.
Thank you for sharing this - I'm halfway trough my economics studies and the only thing I really master ever since are true basics and talking like a smart ass.
We need idols like you spreading truth: We have to start with and stick to the basics.
Liked, subbed and shared among my friends.
Have my respect for what you do and thank you for spending your valuable time, Sam.

Kia Ora from Queensland Sam 😀 I came to your video by way of my sister, who sent me a link! Congratulations on your success!!! In any of my jobs I've always told people I mentor, coach or train that to do your job well is to know the basics and get that right because they never change. They are the foundation and as you say the fundamentals of business and anything in life. You have inspired me to revisit ideas that I have put aside because I made them too complex than they needed to be. Thanks for the inspiration!!!

Thank you so much Sam for this wisdom.
I'm a French photographer who moved in NYC to learn the smart methods that successful American entrepreneurs use and that French entrepreneurs don't know.
I want to use these methods to launch my own online business and then share them to French entrepreneurs. Why?
Because the French business and tech ecosystem is so behind, many entrepreneurs and dreamers give up. It creates a bad social environment that helps racism to rise.
Helping entrepreneurs in France to succeed is my way to fight racism in this country.
I look forward to learn from you even more.
    Best regards.
    Kamel

Thanks again Sam. I’ve just finished reading one of the books from your list of 4 key reads (Psycho Cybernetics by Maxwell Maltz) and i understand why you recommended it in relation to mindset. Getting that firm foundation seems key and it’s “read it, do it “ pattern is helping me slow down and focus. Like you say cut out a lot of extraneous noise. Thanks again for sharing your content it’s really sound advice. Thanks again to Alex Becker and jstar for signposting you’re content.

The video was impressive, the guidelines clearly presented and the examples stressed the practice employed by the marketing field professionals. That was a great material to learn from, especially by the working consulting industry specialist, knowing the pros and cons of the consulting strategies. The consulting firm profitability and rent-ability underlines the importance of Sam's advice. In the same time the insightful presentation of the consulting practices is leading the entrepreneurs to the essence of entrepreneurship and its opening opportunities.

As a beginner, I struggle to sort out the basics from the advanced. Is this post talking about some basic thing I need to get started or is it a possible nice-to-have / advanced techniques for masters? It's easy to believe that button colors are part of the basics. But where can I learn those basics?
In an interesting twist on the Dan Kennedy story, it would be interesting if the different rooms had the same lectures. Sorting "Advanced" vs "Basics" was a psych test which could help the presenters talk to their audience differently: current biz experience vs future biz experience.

Thank you, Sam, for a brilliant video series, As a UK Chemical Engineering Student aiming for a 2.1 (60%) I am aiming to always look for the simple mark first in my exams and coursework. I encourage and help my peers to secure the first 40%, in 20% of the time than work out the next 20% in 30% of the time and just leave the last 40% because it going to take 50% of the time. This has allowed me to have an amazing uni experience: nights out, skiing, cycling and relationships. I am now graduate and will continue with this work ethic an lifestyle. Is there anything I can help you with to achieve the first 60% of your goals?
