I think he should've told the mum that she was lying all but naked on the sofa with her brother asleep and how she'd locked bolted and barred all the ways in so he shouldn't have been able to get in. I am guessing they'd not long got up from being in bed together - hence the missing clothing and fall asleep on the sofa in front of the tv.
I (F) have a brother and while we are close, I could never imagine snuggling and falling asleep with him. Thats just too weird.

Story 1: Being "Close" does not excuse or explain two siblings cuddling naked on a couch. I have friends who have a great, healthy relationship with their sisters or brothers. They don't do this. They go on trips together or hang out, they are apart of each others lives but it never crosses this kind of boundary. She has to be lying about her relationship with him because she knows if they are exposed as sibling lovers their lives will pretty much be ruined.

I have a brother and we only give each other side hugs. Lol! He walks me to my car when I leave his house to make sure I’m safe. That’s how he shows me he loves me.
When my sister and I were like 2 and 4 we would take baths together because it was easier our on mom, even then the idea of that even a few years later was off putting. My sister and I are close but we never exchange more than a hug. Same for my little brother, though there's a 14 year difference now that he's a teenager and not a small child, even loving each other we might play games or give each other a hug. Sometimes I'll kiss the top of his head but it's such a drastic contrast to the story.

@@jgw5491 - Yeah, being like like that with her brother on the sofa and his own house keys suddenly go 'missing' from his bag, as well as the spare key also suddenly disappearing with every usually open door/window are locked securely - she's trying to ensure he can't get in until she's good and ready to let him in. I thought maybe they were steps, or adopted siblings with no blood ties - but it seems they really are just simply incestuous. He should run for the hills like he's on fire. This is going to get VERY, VERY, VERY messy. Look, I have a brother too but good god... the thought of sleeping naked next to him and cuddling grosses me the fuck out. Holy shit. Combine that with his missing keys and being locked out of the house and having to climb up the balcony to get in... something shady is going on. Property: ask the local environmental agency if someone has destroyed a wooded lot that you have been preserving. A natural area being destroyed in some states and counties can result in fines and be required to put things back, at their expense in order to restore the property.
More importantly, if you allow the tresspassing to go unchallenged, after the legally stipulated time, they can then claim the property they are using as theirs under "squatter's rights". Talk to a lawyer.

2nd story, inform your neighbours about the trail and the shed, if you let this go they will keep encroaching on your property.
When I was a kid we had no concept that the wooded areas in our neighborhood were owned by someone who cared if we made a bike trail. We were like 8-9 and did make a few bike trails in the woods. I'm not sure that the parents knew (My parents didn't), or that the kids knew. As an adult this is probably hard to fathom but we sort of thought that where people had yards and houses that was their property and everything else was just public property. We were clearly in the wrong, but it was just out of ignorance. It was pretty rural where we lived so there were a fair number of wooded areas.

Stop the neighbors grandchildren from destroying your property get a fence and if you leave the shed they can get adverse property rights let them damage their own property and liability insurance is very expensive and the grandparents know what they are doing

I had a nephew who started acting like a jealous boyfriend toward his sister. At first I was a bit confused, especially when mom started backing said nephew and put niece on birth control. At age 12. I was told it was to "regulate" her periods. Only, that doesn't happen at age 12. I had deep suspicions for awhile until the day the truth came out. I was physically ill and cut contact with that family. Except for the niece, I didn't cut ties with her as she was a victim.
That's when you call the cops and report them.

I started my periods at 12 - all over the place. My daughter, now 24, started hers at 11 and hers were also all over the place. So, as excuses go, it was plausible. But if your gut is telling you that there's more to it than that, LISTEN. My late mum used to tell me to trust my gut. She said your mind can be confused, your heart misled - but your gut, your instinct, is NEVER fooled and so ALWAYS listen to it. I hope you reported that family as well as cut them off. I hope your niece was removed from there too.

The bike trails in the woods story: Politely tell your neighbors and their grand kids that you are sorry, but because of legal liability issues they can't have bike trails and bike jumps in your woods. Also tell them that you are puzzled as to why the grand kids didn't put their trails on the grand parents property. Do also inform that you also prefer to keep your woods in a more natural state for the benefit of the wildlife. After that please check out the requirements for Adverse Possession laws in your state. It's possible that the grand parents are trying to acquire part of your property through Adverse Possession practices. Putting part or all of a structure on your property, and making use of your woods without any complaint from you can be taken by them, and by the courts as you ceding the land involved over to the people who are using it. If the grand parents give you a hard time about not allowing their grand kids in your woods, then you should have a lawyer send them docs showing the boundaries of your property, and officially requesting that they remove their shed from your property, and that their grand kids stop putting bike trails and jumps in your woods because of the liability issues. I also recommend that you put up a fence.
I'm sorry, but there is no easy fix to this situation.
I would have suggested that OP take a picture and put up cameras because I don't think that the sister, brother situation is that simple. Why cuddle with brother in OP'S house? I don't care if I'm close with a sibling. I'm not running around with nothing more than a t-shirt.
2nd story. To do any damage at all on your property such as beaten down trails or anything you don’t want is not their right to do. Also if they should get hurt you will be held liable for any harm.
Put up signs to protect yourself and go talk to neighbors. If they argue or cause any problems report to the police so you have a record. Then even a enforcement officer needs to chat with them. This all protects you in case of problems. And before the shed is grandfathered in have it moved. If they are reasonable work it out. Your mate is absolutely wrong to ignore this but try the nice approach first ABOUT EVERYTHING.
S2: They say "you give an inch, they'll take a mile". They put a shed on your property, and you kept quiet, and that gave them the courage to do what they wanted and pleased. You are inviting problems and legal issues by being silent just to keep the peace with your neighbors. I don't know about other countries, but if you are from US or Canada, then you will be held liable for any mishaps on your property. There are many cases throughout the US where the landowners were held responsible for people trespassing and having accidents on their property. If those kids have destroyed your land and have made bike trails, then you have a upperhand to sue them now before it's too late. Use trail cameras and collect evidence and also report and file charges for the destruction of property and trespassing.
3rd story. My ex was a raging narcissist. It was horrible living with him. It was especially bad starting in October. It was like he went full mad crazy. We were married for 21 years. Oh I dressed the fall. Also, he has other cycles of ups and downs that ruled over our family but mostly over our marriage. It was wonderful that he found a new victim to abuse and I was set free from his insanity with a divorce. She had no idea what she was getting into. But I'm sure she knows now. The divorce was in November of 2001. I didn't even realize how his rages ruled my life until he was gone. It took me over 5 years of PTSD to finally become reasonably normal again. Having a replacement victim made it easier for him to transition his rage into her so he just left me alone. It was the best thing to ever happen to me. To be finally free of being his emotional target. He was also an alcoholic.

If you are having to deal with similar situation, run.. it will never get better.. because it's a personality disorder and they never change for the better. EVER. I doubt his new victim knows either what is happening to her. But she is an alcoholic so at least they have that in common and can enjoy endless fights.. lolol

Story about neighbors kids on the property my advice is confront them if they're good neighbors they'll take steps to correct the kids. However regarding the shed on the property you may want to look into loop hole laws on property rights and regulations. My grandmother went through something similar when I was younger she had a two acre lot with a forest and farm plot. She had this land since my mother was a tot and often went through great lengths to maintain the property by the time I was five one of her old neighbors had died and a new person bought their land. Now where my grandmother lives there is a property law that if someone builds something on another persons property they can make a claim to the section of the original owners property if the shed or even a fence is left for more then six months as the county will consider the area not maintained and abandoned and therefore up for sell. For almost five years this new neighbor tried to build a shed and fence on my grandmother's property thus us grand kids, aunts, uncles, and cousins had to walk around the woods and farm area ripping up tense posts and breaking down any sheds we found built on her property call out a specialist to calculate the damage done go to court and sue this guy and every week/month he'd do it again. One time she went to the hospital for a week and when she got back this jerk had put a fence line right up to her back door thinking she had died and that it would take just long enough for the family to travel back to her place since she lived out in the sticks and that would give him just enough to buy out the property. We ended up having to put up our own fence just to keep this guy out

Closeness between brother and sister. I have two brothers, both older than me. Oldest brother I was never close to growing up. In fact we avoided each other as much as possible. Other brother I was very close to and could talk, joke, play, and cry on. Both brothers were close to each other also. In adulthood younger brother helped my older brother and myself to understand each other and become closer. Taught us how to understand the different ways we felt and reacted to people and things in our lives. Now as senior citizens my older brother and I are a lot closer because instead of getting mad about something said or done, we now take the time to look at a situation from the standpoint of each other.
On the last one. If this is happening to stepdad twice a year,every year have him see an allergist. He may be reacting to something in those seasons. I had a similar reoccurring medical problem that was due to a certain plant blooming and dying back in these same seasons. I now have medications I only take for one week in those seasons and it keeps my problem from occurring.
