If only he was a better Game Manager.
You won today, Sir.

12:40 If Lamar has that kinda game and loses, then y'all had better have all this grace and understanding for him too
you know they won't...
Have you compared Allen's numbers to Lamar's? 😂 regular season Allen trounces Lamar. Post season Allen trounces Lamar again. Why do Lamar fan boys actually think Lamar is in this conversation? 🤔 because sports media generated buzz which is mandated from woke Disney who owns ESPN (and many others) says you gotta give the MVP' and accolades to qb's of color like Mahomes and Lamar and NOT white qbs. I'm sure Rodgers will be the last White MVP for a long time. If they can't see 44 tds and all top 5 stats with scoring 86% teams tds CLEARLY beats 29 tds and mostly middling stats with barely over 50% of his teams scoring by Lamar than they must be blind, def and dumb. Or just have a woke tokenist agenda. Yeahhhh
and yet his still put up 4 touchdowns, 250 yards of offense, and the first ever triple triple in nfl history@@JoshAllenIstheNextJohnElway
and ended the game with 4 total TDs. plz go touch grass troll@@JoshAllenIstheNextJohnElway
“That kinda game?!” 300 yards, 2 TDs zero turnovers. Against a top 3 defense in the playoffs is bad?!?! Wow lol
Lamar Jackson spent five years with the worst passing scheme in the NFL and bottom five WR corps on the outside and he NEVER received this much grace during his four playoff games, before this season. Even with a better passing scheme and just 'decent' WRs (Still a significant step up from what he used to have), he was right back in the MVP race while on his backup TE and third RB, and still had to hear about his 1-3 playoff record under Roman's God awful passing scheme.
LJ didn't even finish the szn in 2021 and 2022. That's why he doesn't get as much luv. JA is at least winning a playoff game the last 4 seasons. Only PM has done better
He got a pass his rookie year he got crushed 2019 because he was the No.1 seed with that same scheme and receivers can’t have it both ways
Agree with some of what you said but com’on fam the Ravens are the most talented team in the league..their issues were staying healthy..that WR core and tight endz are crazy!!
Lamar is 10x better than josh and it’s obvious Lamar is black and that’s why he receives so much hate from prejudice fans and media

Like Shanon said.. Brady threw for a record 505 yards in the Super Bowl vs the eagles but gets blamed for the loss bcuz of 1 turnover and he failed to catch a ball…. The game is about moments and Allen has yet to pull through in those moments. If you’re gonna be getting all the credit for winning you deserve to get the blame in a loss, it’s only fair

Yes, finally after so many years they really had a conversation saying that it's more than a QB's sport, it is a team sport, where obviously the QB is the most important position and always had the spotlight, but even they need the help of the other players from offense, defense, special teams to success...

So Marino, Kelly, Boomer, Matty Ryan are all out too, but Trent Dilfer & Nick Foles are great? I agree with 2 conversations. Great QB's and Super Bowl winning Qb's
Trent Dilfer was lucky to be put on the good defense of a team
There's more nuance than that. Dilfer and Foles won, but would anyone put them above any of the QB's you listed? Likely only to be contrarian. There are great QB's and then there are the great QB's that won it all. There's a third level where it's both and I'm pretty sure that's what's getting lost here. Burrow is great, but he failed to win it all. Allen's a great QB, but until he wins it all, he's not there yet. A QB can pass the "eye test" and you know his talent is beyond others, but without the rings, he's a tier below those who both pass the "eye test" AND have the championships.
@@Orphim The word "great" is overused these days. Allen is a very good QB but he hasn't earned the right to be called great. @@chrssara77 Seriously, I think his back up could have won that game.
The bigger concern with Josh Allen is the style of football he plays. I wouldn't really put him in with Dan Marino or Peyton or Philip Rivers. To me, he's Big Ben 2.0. Maybe Cam? Maybe. But that style of play doesn't lend itself to long careers at the top of your game. This offseason it's the shoulder (again). Last year it was the elbow. And the thing about being 260 lbs is sooner or later it's the knees, ankles, and hips too. Can Josh be a top 3-5 QB year after year with that style of play?
It wasn’t Josh Allen that had to stop the Chiefs offense and NEVER DID
everyone talking about how josh loses all the playoff games would have a point if he personally didn't show up. in 10 playoff games, he has 21 TD's to 4 INT's, with 5 rushing TD's to boot. he comes to play every playoffs even if he can't get over the mahomes hump.
I see those stats now name the quarterbacks and teams he beat. A playoff win is a win but the point is when facing elite comp he comes up short
186 yards on 39 pass attempts isn't showing up.
@@Dark_B3ast he's not going against quarterbacks though. he had 300 yards and 5 TD's against bellichek's defense, but according to everyone else it doesn't count because it's against mac jones.
my point is just that he's played great and a lot of things outside of his control (namely the defense) has let him down. he played a perfect game in 2021 against mahomes and gave his team the lead twice in the final 2 mins

What about Dakota Prescott?
No. This is just a heat of the moment thing. He’s still a great player w/ a lot of time left.
Was Mahomes out of the conversation when Tampa smoked him in the Super Bowl?
Stop judging Quarterbacks so harshly in a team sport. They don't throw to themselves, they don't block for themselves, they don't run out and play defense.
Imagine throwing a game winning touchdown, leaving the field with 13 seconds left and your defense blows it. Stop blaming one guy.
The guy getting paid the most is absolutely going to get judged harshly.
Joe Burrow is better than Josh Allen. Joe will
be a Super Bowl winner before Josh.
We will see
Another trash 🗑 take 😒
Don’t worry folks the 4 time media defending champs Josh Allen and Bills will still be the top favorites to win the MVP and the Super Bowl next season. NFL and media won’t quit on their dream to have Josh Allen as the face of the NFL
hang the banner !!! LOL
That's because he's the best person playing the sport as showcased each week amd silly people like you get confused by the simple fact that winning isn't a QB statistic.
Josh Allen hasn’t reached a Super Bowl because his kicker missed a FG, his defense couldn’t stop Travis Kelce or Tyreek Hill, his top WR could not catch a 60 yard pass, and his coach called a boneheaded play…if you question his greatness as a QB and don’t consider the above facts and that he led the league in total TDs you need to stop watching football
The Marino comparison was spot on 💯
Where was all the context when Lamar didn’t have a #1 receiver???
He still had an elite defense and STs that Allen has never had
@@isaiahh4108 Ok, but since Allen has had all the weapons he has had on offense... doesn't that help him compile great stats during games? The Ravens having a great defense doesn't help Lamar statistically on offense. When people judge Lamar and compare his results with other QBs, rarely do they consider what he has had to work with in comparison to what others have had to work with offensively.
@@kingstonellington817 what weapons Allen had Diggs and Lamar had Andrew’s and better run games
@@isaiahh4108 so we're going to sit here and act like Andrews is the same type of game breaking and explosive talent that Diggs is? The Ravens do have a better run game, but you do Lamar a disservice when you fail to mention that he is largely the reason for that.
It would be nice if they spent most of the segments talking about the QB’s whose teams won games
Why because all the media dies is shove mahomes down our throats so stop mahomes is brought up in every thing

@@Garret_bruh_homeygreat sarcasm. 👌🏼
Burrow had 1 good playoff run. It’s crazy.
In the past 4 years:
Bills 189 punts / 174 TD for Allen
Chiefs 204 Punts / 151 TD for Mahomes
So Allen has produced 23 more TD than Mahomes and had 15 less punts.
The most valuable play in football is a touchdown.
All turnovers are not equal to points
Punts are still a change of possession.
Allen has produced 21 More Turnovers more than Mahomes, but produced 23 more TD and 15 less punts.
Josh Allen has accounted for 77% of Team TD, 81% of offensive TD
Pat Mahomes has accounted for 70% of team TD, 74% of offensive TD
The Bills have been the highest scoring offense in the NFL
The Chiefs have been the 3rd highest scoring offense in the NFL
The Bills have been the second most Winning team in the NFL
The Chiefs are the most winning team in the NFL
Josh Allen over the past 4 seasons:
2020 4,977 yards / 45TD
2021 5,180 Yards / 42TD
2022 5,045 yards / 42TD
2023 4,830 Yards / 44TD
No other player in NFL history has had 4 consecutive years of 40TD and this kind of production.
So Josh Allen has averaged 5000 Total yards and 43TD a season and doesn't have any MVP to show for it
Playoff stats: Averaging 328 yards a game with 26TD / 4INT and a passer rating of 100 in 10 games.
Allen was #1 in Fantasy football (production) in 2020, 2021,2023. In 2022, He was 2nd.
This past seasons, Allen accounted for 86% of his teams total scores. Next closest was 68%. Lamar was 52%.
Total TD - 1st
Total Yards - 1st
QBR - 3rd (even with TO factored in)....still 5% higher than Lamar.
That alone should have sealed an MVP for him.
Not enough? More stats for Allen:
Passing TD - 5th
Rushing TD - 1st (NFL record)
Passing yards - 4th
QB rushing - 4th
Success rate - 51.4% (2nd)
EPA/Play- .23 (2nd)
Total EPA - 136.1 (2nd)
Pass EPA - 86.6 (4th)
Rushing EPA - 49.5 (1st)
Sack % - 4% (1st)
Fantasty football (production) #1
Closes out the season with 5 straight wins, and steals the division and 2 seed. All with half of the defense being injured and having a new offensive coordinator.
And let's not pretend like having Andy Reid isn't a huge advantage over having Sean McDermott on the offensive side of the ball.
This is ridiculous. Josh puts up yearly numbers that we’ve never seen a QB do in the NFL before. He has more eye-popping plays than anyone. He single-handedly changed the course of a franchise. The new stadium they are building is mostly because of Josh. Without him, there’s a strong chance the Bills aren’t even in Buffalo still.
def. It's as if any QB who isn't Montana, Bradshaw, Brady, or Mahomes is not great to these people. Josh isn't Mahomes. But he'll get a SB. Not multiple, but he'll get one.
Being great isnt the point.

He can only play his position. And he does that better than pretty much anyone else in the league outside Mahomes. He can’t makes catches, he can can’t block for himself. He can’t play defense or special teams. He already runs the ball better than most RB. He has been disappointed by poor execution from his teammates (three critical drops in that game from receivers which were dimes) and more critically… coaching. McDermott is out-coached every big game… it’s a team sport. You can’t say Pat Mahomes effectively elevated his team all season. But no one questioned his greatness. They rightly pointed out that there is only so much Mahomes can do to win games when he struggled and yet when Josh has more yards than his RBs for years he “wasn’t doing enough”. It’s mind boggling…
Idk, it’s tough. Then if Lamar loses next week, is he out of it as well?

More team goals he gets criticism for while simultaneously suppressing all his great individual player stats. OK 👌
If Josh is responsible for the stupid play calls as well as for his decisions on the field then yes, it’s his fault. But I don’t think Josh insisted that they go for it on 4th and relatively long, or that they go for a touchdown instead of a field goal and therefore a tie on 4th and short really late in the game. Kansas City was in the same situation, and they chose to go for the (mostly) certain 3 points and the lead. As Kansas City proved most of the season, a QB can’t catch a good to well thrown pass for the receiver and that’s the reason KC didn’t get to host any of the playoff games this year. Buffalo played well enough to beat the Chiefs if they had been playing the KC Oopsies that had been playing for most of the regular season. The chiefs showed up for this game. The question is which team shows up next week?
Josh is still a great QB, it's just Andy Reid out coached the Bills and the Bills dropped a few key passes that would have won them the game

These guys are missing the point. The reason Josh Allen is blamed is the same reason he would have been praised if he won. When a team does well, we praise the quarterback, even though they weren’t the only reason for the success. So if the team doesn’t do well, the quarterback will be criticized, even though they weren’t the only reason for the failure. All these shows talk about the quarterback all the time; rarely do they ever mention linebackers, corners, o-linemen, etc. So if you’re going to give nearly all the credit to a quarterback for leading their team to victory, then keep the same energy and criticize them when they don’t
