Immigration added 2% to population in 1 yr. Can you imagine 30 million white Europeans showing up in india and buying property and working at local jobs. Also, it seems that many new arrivals have belatedly gamed multiple generous Canadian programs to get in.
There are controls in place in every Country to track, monitor and make decisions. Canada has decided to Welcome those 2% knowingly...they didn't come as Refugees and must have come through legal means. Who do you fault here?
We need to consider the culture of the land. I can't expect to go to someone else's house and do whatever I want because I do that at home. But then there's also bad people on the host country who drives up the hate. Same for some Indians who will do stuff which are not acceptable. That's what creates the tension.
Also learning basic manners goes a long way, same community you showed in the video uses BC/ MC and talks loudly on the phone with legs on seat, not singling out a community, but a common observation. This creates issue for people like me who have to face physical hate
Sorry, it's "two different perspectives" if Canadians and Indians live in a third new country.. But if Indians choose to go / live in Canada, they should adapt to Canadian ways. Canadians needn't adjust and learn Indian perspectives. Be a Roman when you're in Rome. Indians wouldn't accept if 100,000 Canadians came to India and started eating beef. for example
how stupid can u be. ur logic is flawed. u saying that since canadians cant eat beef in india because it is disrespectful to indian culture is the same as saying indians who come to canada should start eating beef as a way of adjusting to canadian culture. in india cow slaughter is banned(although some states have allowed it), and eating beef in a state that has banned it is the same as breaking the law. Is there a law in canada that states that indians cant celebrate festivals in canada. are indians breaking the law by celebrating. so what if so many indians have moved to canada. did indians(majority of them) go to canada illegally. not at all. The canadian government begs indian students to come to canada with thousands of dollars promising a beautiful life. They portray themselves as tolerant, which they are clearly not. Even today do u think they have the guts to stop indian students from coming over. they wont because thats over 6 billion dollars revenue. 25 % of canadian pension funds are invested in indian markets. do u think they can afford to withdraw their investments especially from a growing market. western missionaries from canada have converted people to christians and have destroyed indian culture and yet india hasnt violated their rights or abused them. but if indians who settle in west celebrate their own culture its a problem. hypocrites to the core. And how have indians not adapted to canadian habits. do indians go to offices in kurta pajama or do women go to offices in sarees or wearing salwar kameez like here in india. no matter how much u try to be like a white canadian there are a few things u can never get rid of . 1. Your skin color. you will always be a brown human. 2. your taste buds and microbiome and genes. you cant stop eating indian food and spices. That is evolution over hundreds of years. even if u settle down in canada and have grandchildren . even they wont be able to call white europeans as their ancestors . so they will never belong to canadian history because the source will always lead them to india.
@@itissrinivasan but many Indians eat beef, and pork and other meat. India is much more diverse than just a handful of states. Yes, and I mean Hindus eating beef and pork. These are personal choices. But yes, in a community there's mutual respect, if in a public setting people don't like it then it should be respected. In many countries there aren't any vegetarian restaurants at all. That's a problem, and a few of them include vegetarian items to help. It's mutual respect. On the other hand, will the Indian community accept that if 10000 Canadians come and pee on the street, violate traffic signals, be rude to daily ground workers? I think the answer is mostly yes.
Like it or not, Indians are much more adaptive than Canadians. You can celebrate any festival in India (India does celebrate almost every) from any religion and no one complains. Yes laws must be respected though and sure it goes both ways. Would a Canadian go and drink alcohol in Saudi Arabia, pretty sure no.
This is mostly bullshit. Hindus by and large adapt fast. The other communities dont. I speak from experience. My ancestors left India for White ruled South Africa centuries ago and adapted fast to the point where I am largely a westerner today. We dont stick to our culture the way others do which is why we tend to be quiet and disappear into host cultures.
@Grit_Tales I don't really want to expand as the algorithms are coded to react negatively. But generally, 1 or 2 generations and Hindus basically reconfigure. As a teenager, I rode motorcycles, parties, I don't speak a single Indian language and don't feel the need to be Indian and this is Hindu ethos.. iE, nothing is permanent and get used to change. So if anyone is making a racket with this music and gear, it's either new arrivals or these afore unmentioned groups. In fact I would say Hindus are even more adaptable than whites. We don't stand out and with intermarriage largely become the host community. We don't set out to merge...we just don't see the point to living in ways at odds with our surroundings.
@@demontrader1222 it's an anecdote. I don't see any of these being true at all. None of what you write made sense. I think your point was, "we came to a different country, now we have adapted, so others are also like that". Also, you completely miss the point of being a first generation immigrant and second, third. I will personally give you examples from both adaptability and non adaptability side from any communities. It boils down to the attitude, which may or may not be applicable to a different society. Motorcycle and parties = Western? That's the worst argument I've heard. The majority of my western friends don't party or ride a bike or do things that we see on TV. Instead if you see many of the Indians with money do the same. Therefore, again, no points were made.
@ArjunPakrashi Waah? Lol. Unless you come from a culture thar sees the static state as inherently integral to ones racial identity as a distinct entity, these adaptations occur without much thought. Where I come from, we did not get up one morning and decide we were gonna be Western, we were Western in thought and action. This was pretty much across the board and not rare or unusual. Give any Hindu enough time and he will deep assimilate. To the point where the non-assimilative resent us. Case in point. Vivek Ramaswamy. Not only is he fully American, he is on the right. The sort of right with muscle cars and big trucks, camo and shaven heads. We Hindus can and do that. So I dunno what yer problem is with fact. Whose the other deep south Indian Republican. Niki Haley. Where I come from Indian skin head gangs are common and no one pushes us around. We adapted.
@@ArjunPakrashi And I am talking about deep assimilation. Not arriving on the boat today and living in ghettos while hanging out with white lefties. I am talking about moving freely...anywhere and everywhere

Your Europian ancestors did the same things to indigenous Canadians.
