As someone who makes paints for several NR2003 mods, you have no idea how many mods exists; not just for Cup, but for the other physics types the games offers for the modding scene

What other NASCAR game lets you race what ever you want wherever you want while possibly being the most realistic NASCAR game ever made? That’s why this game is the best. Even if you don’t want to drive or can’t drive you can still have fun with it.

I started my online racing career on nr2003. I’m now 2500 irating in iracing. Such an awesome game and the whole community is really what makes this game incredible.

I hope the developers are aware of the legacy they’ve created with this game. We’re past the 20 year anniversary of this game and it’s still going strong. Wish someone would’ve put the game on Steam for easier access to the game along with Steam’s workshop feature for mods.

If you want to use a controller with NR2003, try using steering help, it really helps - I've even raced with a keyboard using that. Not easy, but it works.

I wonder if Dale Earnhardt Jr. is still playing 2003. I remember he showed off his multiplayer racing sim setup at home over a decade ago and he was big into Nascar sim racing with his buddies.

Thanks for putting this together! I have never played NR2003 before, but I do I have copy of NR2002 (my favorite NASCAR game of all time) that I have put countless hours across more than a dozen full season into. I am looking forward to trying NR2003 for the first time.

Have loved this game since it came out. I use the ICR mod and created a whole series and brought in a lot of older tracks including Riverside, Walt Disney, IRP, Myrtle Beach, Texas World, and Nazareth

Gawd dang it!! I have all the newer racing sims out there ( Except iracing , I let that lapse ) but I still have all my original Nascar 2000 , 2002 & 2003 , along with like 10 other's.....I had no idea that 2003 had mods!! I guess I never looked into it. I mainly run Assetto Corsa , RRE , AMS 1 and 2 and Rfactor 2 , but wanted a dedicated , some what upto date Nascar game.....and I've had it all along!! Thank you for this video. I'm doing some major investigating on this!
