I was always told to get your hands wet before holding a trout so you don't harm the fish if you are not keeping them. Love the videos just sub today look forward to more fun videos
Beautiful setting for a fine day fishing! I believe Buck brownies to be about the most glorious of trout, the red brassy cheek plates and body colors are beautiful, the aggressive behavior towards a lure and the smashing grabbing of your offering... Pure addiction in the best of forms! Ya got a sub, and I'll be watching for the next installment 😉. PS, I'm Pacific Northwest, Puget sound, Wa. Salmon starting soon, If you ever get in this neck of the woods, I've spent 40 year's pounding the water and I Know the Way!! Be well, have fun and prosper,,,,, Later New friend's 👍😎 Scott out 😀
Is this upper or lower Michigan? I’ve gotten into trout fishing the last few years, being from Grand Rapids area I have been able to find a couple local small streams. That said I’m struggling to find the big browns. I know they exist in my local spots but I’ve struggled to catch anything over 10 inches. Favorite experience so far was spotting a 18” brown attempting to swim up a concrete culvert in a 1’ deep creek. I ended up spooking it back down into deeper water as it looked to be stressing itself out. Thanks for posting all your adventures!
@@CrouseOutdoors interesting. It could have been a sea lamprey. While watching I couldn’t tell for certain if it was a sea lamprey of American lamprey. Sea lamprey r invasive species and should be disposed of. Anyways great video!
@@CrouseOutdoors good to know there has gotta be some browns hanging out around here. I just keep catching small mouth and rock bass. Water is super warm and low right now though the browns may have swam out to the lakes. Haven't found a hole deeper than my waist though and there in my opinion should be some. The journey continues

Looks like you two had a blast! My wife and I just moved back to Michigan and were excited to go after some brown trout ourselves. 6 more days!
