I’m digging the frog bait. Nice video honey.
I did it too
Great video David! Always enjoy watching you and the family enjoying the outdoors!
Glad you enjoyed it
i wasn’t sure how you’d get under those trees in the beginning but then heard the Old Man Grunt and knew you’d be fine
🤣🤣🤣 I wondered if anyone wicks catch that
Cool video man, topwater strikes are always fun
Yes they are!
Thanks for another fun video. And thanks especially for taking good care of the rivers and releasing the fish. We appreciate you.
You bet!
this is my third comment but I want to close with: excellent video. good to see you posting again and you gave us a banger

Looks like a great time. I hammered them the other day with the whopper plopper 90.
That is awesome!
Good work!
Thanks bud
Would love to see you measuring some of those hogs. Little pocket/keychain tape measure from HD would sure satisfy my curiousity and desire to double-check my eyeballing estimate abilities 😂
🤣🤣 I've taken a bump board before. Few around the 20" mark if I remember correctly
I love fishing small waterways like that. Totally overlooked fisheries, in my opinion. A few years back, I caught a rock bass on a small buzzbait.
I agree. And that's crazy
Awesome 😊
Thanks 🤗
I am looking forward to your upcoming lake fishing video...😉😉 I heard it was alot of work
🤣 it was
@@CrouseOutdoors Eric told me all about it lol
4:00 is why smallmouth are the best god durn fish around
Be a bad day be a frog in that river
I actually saw a bass come up and eat a real frog I spooked off the bank
FYI it is best to bend your hooks it works all the time
This looks like perfect frog for the Muskegon River at us31. In Muskegon, Mi.
Give it a try
@@CrouseOutdoors I have been thinking about it for years. I finally bought a kayak this year.
How is the Muskegon for smallies
@@nickmeingast9557 I don't have that experience there yet.
👍🏼
FAR too many "weedless" lures/flies also tend to make you "fishless" the hooks just can't seem to set well in most cases. I am glad it started working out for you though.
I bent out the hooks a little and that helped some
What kayak are you using?
Crescent ultralite
That place looks sause
I don't know what that means
It looks fishey amazing looking spot
Rock bass are so aggressive for their size. Their eyes are bigger than their stomach.
