    Would love to see you measuring some of those hogs. Little pocket/keychain tape measure from HD would sure satisfy my curiousity and desire to double-check my eyeballing estimate abilities 😂

    I love fishing small waterways like that. Totally overlooked fisheries, in my opinion. A few years back, I caught a rock bass on a small buzzbait.

      I actually saw a bass come up and eat a real frog I spooked off the bank

    FAR too many "weedless" lures/flies also tend to make you "fishless" the hooks just can't seem to set well in most cases. I am glad it started working out for you though.

      I bent out the hooks a little and that helped some

    Rock bass are so aggressive for their size. Their eyes are bigger than their stomach.
