Thank you for being transparent... been getting .02 cents per like and now at 5k followers, can't afford to run more ads, so hoping to get accepted in bonus program, just consistently posting daily
Great video and amazing how fast and cheap you built it to 10k likes...if this were done in other niches where it is easier to sell products etc... it could make a lot more money!
I found the Facebook page because I was curious. Looks like the winner basically let it die as new content is essentially nonexistent. Interestingly I noticed one of my friends actually saw and liked the "most viral post", and she's definitely not a runner.
Thanks Spencer. Super helpful and interesting video. Without seeing this I would assume that using videos and pictures like the ones you used would have copyright issues. But obviously I am wrong. Your posts/ads don't seem to have been penalized by facebook at all. Anyway, great to see and it gives me some ideas for my company's facebook/instagram.
I think there's a lot more leniency on social media. Social media was created to share content...often from others. At least that's my unprofessional, non-attorney opinion.
Spencer, I was going to post a similar question. So where do you find your short videos that you posted? Other Facebook pages? I’d love to know where you were pulling your video ideas from. Thanks! This was a super helpful video for those of us now moving from niche sites to FB pages or both. I’m working on my first as we speak.
Not a lot of countries are accepted to this bonus program. The main strategy should be how to get people off the page to the blog like maybe Andy Skraga and with some posts this other guy with cocktails. We have to figure our that and not focus on the fb bonus that can anytime demonetize you for copyright infridgement without any explanation or support
This was very interesting. Thanks for offering the details on this adventure. Can you share if or how often you repeated the content? If you're submitting 10 per day, 300 unique pieces per month is quite a mountain. When do you re-post one of your images or videos?
Very interesting! I've been wanting to try this. Are you re-sharing other people's videos and photos? Or where were you sourcing those from to make sure you aren't infringing on any copyrights?
I have a FB page that has 61,000 followers and it makes around $500 a month. I'm going to run some ads. My aim is to get it to 100,000 followers by Jan 2026. Hoping running ads makes that dream come true
great video!!! nothing to say more, but ... I'd be trying to make $$$ not with display ads on my blog, but with some high ticket product (my own or affiliate one) - what do you think???
This was a great test as I've been following niche site ladys public case study. I thought if you weren't creating original content, you wouldn't get monetized..
I don't think that's the case. My other FB page that is monetized is definitely not all original content. We often post images with original captions though.
Hi, interesting project. I've started a similar project using a Facebook Group and not a Facebook Page. However, I've found out that I can't use Facebook Ads to promote my group. Is it a real limitation? Do you have any suggestions? Thank you
I've got up to 3500 followers in two weeks for around $150. I'm happy with that but the reach is absolute crap. The engagement is good but the reach seems to be throttled. Doesn't seem like I can do much about that.
I started a page recently and your Ad cost is way to higher for per follower to be very honest. My cost is around 0.02$ - 0.01$ for per follower and its quality followers as my followers are very much engaged to our posts already. So far we have spent around 20-25$ and already reached 900+ followers maybe our page is now 1week old 😁

For USA followers?

Good findings! Yeah, the new owner is "running" with it like I had hoped 😂
@@niche-pursuitsHe meant that the new owner is lazy, and is about to destroy the page...sucks

Question for those of you who have experience with FB. Do you need permission to use video clips? Is there any issue with copyright?

Where do you get the videos to share on Facebook?
Just wherever I could find them. FB, Twitter, whatever.
@@niche-pursuits And, you actually managed to get permission from the original copyright owners to reuse their content?
Where do you get the videos for the facebook content
FB, Twitter, TH-cam...all over.
@@niche-pursuits Thanks do you just add the links in facebook or download the videos and edit them yourself?

Sure, if this were my main business, I'd focus on selling my own products.
The part I don't like is you have to be chosen to participate in the bonus program, and that may never happen.
That's very true. Its a gamble.

consider putting a link to a post in the comments of a fb post already doing well
Hey! How do you make sure that the footage you use in your content (Facebook Site) is not copyright material and that you are allowed to use it?
I saw you publish random videos on your page. can you let us know about copyright? how you overcome it? how you ensure that video have no copyright?

great and inspirining. Does it depend on location? meaning - can I be in the facebook bonus with my Sweden location?
I'm not sure which locations are acceptable for the bonus program.

By 'mistake' you put 21k followers after 30 days in your video thumbnail ;-)

Bro my first video on Facebook has gotten viral and i already have 4.1k followers 😂

Well this just proves Facebook ain't worth jack

Followers mean nothing on fb, its reach. This clickbait is going to make 99% of people that start this broke from ads.
I had a budget of $1,000. Hopefully people are smart enough to set their own budget that's appropriate for them (and not go broke).
