How many videos did you have online before you started to see revenue? How many videos did you have online in July 2023 when you saw a decent monthly amount?
@@MattPrice29 I made money in my first 30 days, and I only had 6 videos up. So within a couple weeks you can start seeing revenue. I don't know for sure how many videos I had in July, but at least 300 to 400 videos.
I just got accepted and need to make my first 3 videos. I was curious about adding subtitles/captions on the videos like is commonly seen on a youtube shorts video. Is that permitted? I thought it would help my videos stand out, but I don't see anyone else doing it after having searched random products on Amazon over the last hour. Any thoughts?
Interesting way to use the program. Never thought of outsourcing like that. I have been in the program since January of last year as well and made 5k on about 150 videos. So far I have only done items around the house and products we were purchasing. Since I do youtube already I have all the gear ready to go so it doesn't take too much time to make Amazon videos but I think outsourcing can be way more lucrative right? If you have your crew only making videos on products that have a better chance of making it on the carousel the commissions could be big. I'm sure you have the same stats where a few items take off and make 80% of the income. I find this program super interesting and thank you for the unique idea for it!
Fascinating to see how you've leveraged user-generated content and outsourced video creation to scale your earnings significantly. Your approach to reviewing products and maximizing revenue streams is both strategic and innovative. Thank you for sharing your valuable tips! 🌟
3:44 You have to have a following (1,000+) on your accounts. 4:43 You can buy likes for 10 cents each. 5:32, 8:15, 8:44 Review items that you already have that are also being sold on Amazon. 5:53 Video should be 1-3 minutes in duration. 6:04, 6:39, 7:05, 7:36, 10:35 Outsource the work of making videos for you will lose you money. Do the videos yourself.
Thanks for sharing your insights so freely. As always, I love watching your videos and hearing everything you have to say about the wonderful world of niche projects and income sources! Great video 👏😃
This video inspired me. Appreciate it. A quick question though: do you think I can take my product-focused TH-cam videos and re--publish them on the Influencer Program platform? I'm wondering if Amazon frowns upon repurposed content from another platform. Maybe they want videos especially made for their platform. Thanks!
When you're reviewing something start with a normal 3 minute horizontal review for traditional people on desktop computers. Then shoot some extra footage just scanning over the product and pointing at it. You can add audio. You can upload it as a extra 60 second vertical review for people with short attention spans and cell phones.
I wish I make like you l just got approved twice today they ask me. My bank information to pay me I am so happy thanks to you guys I listen and watch your videos it helps me a lot I did what you said and now I am in the program
I had a Shapeways store until recently and also do Amazon Influencer videos. My wife very skeptical because I would show her what I made a video, it would bring in a few dollars... But that money is cumulative. Once i review something it keeps generating money for some time. If a video drop off to zero views re-upload the video with a small change and link it to the latest version of product! It becomes a new review!
Note: Amazon Canada is thing. I have an account with them too and upload all my US videos to them too! Carry many of the same products but are considered a completely separate entity for reviews.
I wonder how the affiliate tracking kicks in. If someone goes into the product page from another affiliate URL, but then watches your video for 1 second, you now get the last-click commission? Or is it perhaps shared? And maybe you lose the attributed sale if the customer then goes onto watch another video? Maybe Amazon only attributes the commission if the user watches your video in full? Lots of unknowns!
Does every product on Amazon allow you to make influencer videos on it? I click on some products and notice they don't have commission videos, only user reviews or official product videos.
Hi Spencer. Love your videos and following your case studies for few years now. I had one question in my mind. What are the percentage of the commissions? As on amazon affiliate program, the commissions are mentioned for each categories. What about the influencer program commissions?
When you upload your review videos to TH-cam, how many do you plan to trickle out a day? I have a library myself, but am afraid if I upload too many at once I might be flagged for spam. I was thinking 10 a day personally, but still unsure.
I am curious, I have read that if someone else does videos it is copyrighted by that person. Do you get the person doing the videos for you to sign something giving you permission to post the videos?
There were a couple of product categories that were much more profitable. In particular, around the holidays, there were a couple of products that would make great gifts...that sold really well.
I have failed on my first round of three videos to qualify. I wonder if outsourcing at least my first three would be a good idea. Have you determined if "faceless" results are better or worse? Thanks in advance.
Just a heads up, you are not allowed to show your Amazon dashboard stats anymore. They can ban you for that - though they are not good at banning cheaters, so them going after someone for just doing this...you will probably be fine. I stopped doing it though, it's too much money I don't want to lose.
I believe you need to mention that you received a product for free in the video. But like I said, I only did a couple like this, over 1000 of my videos were not products I received for free.
Sorry people. This has nothing to do with the video but I thought this community would know the answer to this question. When you write a post and it initially ranks I assume it must have value in the eyes of the almighty Google. However if it quickly drops in serp results does that mean that Google has devalued it based on other factors such as the domain? Is it an indication that the domain has problem
So I have to review 1000 products to earn 7K and also have a following in TH-cam to qualify. Look, if I have that following required, I do not need this Influencer program. Also, I should be buying these products just to make that review.
I explain in the video how you can quickly build a social following (a couple weeks and $100). Most people don't have the hustle required to make this work.
Exactly. Besides, Amazon states in their terms and conditions that you're not allowed to show your Amazon Influencer back end on TH-cam. I don't know how OP hasn't seen others that got banned because of this.
This video seems a little out of touch with what normal people can accomplish.... If I had a following that big I wouldn't be watching this video nor would I need to review 1000 products...
Just because he shared his knowledge doesn't mean the market is going to be swamped. Plenty of people here still won't want to put in the work it takes to do this. If you're really THAT concerned though, just start now. BOOM.
nice! this reminds me of a random video my boyfriend did spontaneously about a switchblade spoon, he got over 3k views, ppl asking where to buy etc. we should have done something with that
Does this video help you better understand the Amazon Influencer Program? What other questions do you have?
Thanks! Yes, I forgot I was in this program, so now I'll start making videos.

Great content. No sales baloney, but real, useful info.

Amazing content
Isn't it against TOS to share your backend financial stats publicly?
This is great Spencer, just heard about Amazon suspending accounts for posting Income reports . Just nervous about that .
Yep, fingers crossed.
Thank you for this. Really helpful particularly for my latest book on amazon, paramedic Chris and the runaway chicken.

I asked Amazon directly and they said the videos must be done by the influencer.
Definitely risky.
What if the influencer outsources ALL of their videos even from their other platforms? Then it’s on brand for that influencer

Daily Amazon packages 📦 I’m going to need a lot storage space! 😂 time to make those videos!!!!
If my 3 clips are rejected, can I still receive commissions from my storefront (images, idea lists)?
I’m sleeping on this!!! 😮
What about posting on tiktok or Facebook reels? At least on Facebook you can get paid for your reels once you receive monetization status.
Do you post on just Amazon USA or are you on other country's Amazon sites as well?
Thank you so much for your video Spencer! I just wonder is it possible to be an Amazon Influencer for people outside of USA?
Here, I just googled this for you: affiliate-program.amazon.com/help/node/topic/GZRTENJNR89PB6DY

The commissions are the same as the Amazon Associates program.

Is February's earnings on par with January?
How did the companies reach out to you?
Can you add a link to apply for the program?
Isn't it affiliate earnings? How can we differentiate affiliate earnings from influencer earnings on the dashboard?
Did the profits distribute evenly between the videos or were there some products/categories earning much more?
There were a couple of product categories that were much more profitable. In particular, around the holidays, there were a couple of products that would make great gifts...that sold really well.
Does it work in india
hey, but amazon doesn't work here in Pakistan. Can i still do it?

Can we get an update on where you are at today with this?

Where did you find people to outsource?
This was included in the video. You should rewatch! Upwork.
Isn't it against Amazon TOS to be paid to receive and review products though? Even free ones? I think you're risking your account with that.
I believe you need to mention that you received a product for free in the video. But like I said, I only did a couple like this, over 1000 of my videos were not products I received for free.

I disagree with the Facebook account the fastest way it to buy likes and followers with a Instagram account
Wow so smart to so post on TH-cam
Hey, do you have an affiliate program?
DONT you need a large following on social media to to do this first
I covered this in the video. Maybe 1000 followers. But that can be easy to build, particularly with a FB page. (I explain how in the video).
i want to sell my amazon influence account. i published over 500 videos.
Why do you want to sell?
So I have to review 1000 products to earn 7K and also have a following in TH-cam to qualify. Look, if I have that following required, I do not need this Influencer program. Also, I should be buying these products just to make that review.
You can go to any shop, take a product and do a short review on its contents and put it back in the shelf
You don't really have to open the product.
I explain in the video how you can quickly build a social following (a couple weeks and $100). Most people don't have the hustle required to make this work.
mmmm, no, don't have 1000 products lying around to review, thanks, but I'll pass on this one
That's fine! But I bet you have 200+ products easy in your house from Amazon. Likely more.
Buy them
