I Just Published 1,000 “Faceless” Videos as an Amazon Influencer

- A year ago, I didn't know what the Amazon Influencer program was. Now I have over 1,000 videos and made over $6,000 in December.
This is unlike the Amazon Associates program. You don't need a website, you don't use an affiliate link, in fact you don't send ANY traffic at all!
Learn how I generated over $6,000 in one month posting random household item videos on Amazon product pages.
I dive into how I was able to outsource the video creation and exactly how much it cost me to do this.
In addition, I share my overall revenue since I started and how profitable this side hustle has become for me.

How many videos did you have online before you started to see revenue?
How many videos did you have online in July 2023 when you saw a decent monthly amount?

@@MattPrice29 I made money in my first 30 days, and I only had 6 videos up. So within a couple weeks you can start seeing revenue. I don't know for sure how many videos I had in July, but at least 300 to 400 videos.
I just got accepted and need to make my first 3 videos. I was curious about adding subtitles/captions on the videos like is commonly seen on a youtube shorts video. Is that permitted? I thought it would help my videos stand out, but I don't see anyone else doing it after having searched random products on Amazon over the last hour. Any thoughts?

Interesting way to use the program. Never thought of outsourcing like that. I have been in the program since January of last year as well and made 5k on about 150 videos. So far I have only done items around the house and products we were purchasing. Since I do youtube already I have all the gear ready to go so it doesn't take too much time to make Amazon videos but I think outsourcing can be way more lucrative right? If you have your crew only making videos on products that have a better chance of making it on the carousel the commissions could be big. I'm sure you have the same stats where a few items take off and make 80% of the income. I find this program super interesting and thank you for the unique idea for it!

When you upload your review videos to TH-cam, how many do you plan to trickle out a day? I have a library myself, but am afraid if I upload too many at once I might be flagged for spam. I was thinking 10 a day personally, but still unsure.
I am curious, I have read that if someone else does videos it is copyrighted by that person. Do you get the person doing the videos for you to sign something giving you permission to post the videos?
If my 3 clips are rejected, can I still receive commissions from my storefront (images, idea lists)?

What are the percentage of the commissions? As on amazon affiliate program, the commissions are mentioned for each categories. What about the influencer program commissions?
The commissions are the same as the Amazon Associates program.

I wonder how the affiliate tracking kicks in.
If someone goes into the product page from another affiliate URL, but then watches your video for 1 second, you now get the last-click commission?
Or is it perhaps shared?
And maybe you lose the attributed sale if the customer then goes onto watch another video?
Maybe Amazon only attributes the commission if the user watches your video in full?

What about posting on tiktok or Facebook reels? At least on Facebook you can get paid for your reels once you receive monetization status.

3:44 You have to have a following (1,000+) on your accounts.
4:43 You can buy likes for 10 cents each.
5:32, 8:15, 8:44 Review items that you already have that are also being sold on Amazon.
5:53 Video should be 1-3 minutes in duration.
6:04, 6:39, 7:05, 7:36, 10:35 Outsource the work of making videos for you will lose you money. Do the videos yourself.

Did the profits distribute evenly between the videos or were there some products/categories earning much more?
There were a couple of product categories that were much more profitable. In particular, around the holidays, there were a couple of products that would make great gifts...that sold really well.

Isn't it affiliate earnings? How can we differentiate affiliate earnings from influencer earnings on the dashboard?
Just a heads up, you are not allowed to show your Amazon dashboard stats anymore. They can ban you for that - though they are not good at banning cheaters, so them going after someone for just doing this...you will probably be fine. I stopped doing it though, it's too much money I don't want to lose.
Against TOS to show your stats (i think). I would take this video down and edit out the stats.

When you write a post and it initially ranks I assume it must have value in the eyes of the almighty Google. However if it quickly drops in serp results does that mean that Google has devalued it based on other factors such as the domain? Is it an indication that the domain has problem
Isn't it against Amazon TOS to be paid to receive and review products though? Even free ones? I think you're risking your account with that.
I believe you need to mention that you received a product for free in the video. But like I said, I only did a couple like this, over 1000 of my videos were not products I received for free.

I covered this in the video. Maybe 1000 followers. But that can be easy to build, particularly with a FB page. (I explain how in the video).
So I have to review 1000 products to earn 7K and also have a following in TH-cam to qualify. Look, if I have that following required, I do not need this Influencer program. Also, I should be buying these products just to make that review.
You can go to any shop, take a product and do a short review on its contents and put it back in the shelf
You don't really have to open the product.
I explain in the video how you can quickly build a social following (a couple weeks and $100). Most people don't have the hustle required to make this work.

Exactly. Besides, Amazon states in their terms and conditions that you're not allowed to show your Amazon Influencer back end on TH-cam. I don't know how OP hasn't seen others that got banned because of this.
This video seems a little out of touch with what normal people can accomplish.... If I had a following that big I wouldn't be watching this video nor would I need to review 1000 products...

Just because he shared his knowledge doesn't mean the market is going to be swamped. Plenty of people here still won't want to put in the work it takes to do this. If you're really THAT concerned though, just start now. BOOM.
