Rocky deserts exist. Climbing the side of a canyon is effective stealth
@@wee3ist sure. But rocky deserts aren't constant mountainous terrain. Forests with trees are constant coverage. So the rocks in the rocky desert provide less opportunity than trees in a forest would.

The entire first 30 seconds about "thats dumb why would I buy that book" EXACTLY NO. So many of the AP's have great content in them. Let me hit you with a little something else in the same vein: a lot of the more detailed services/downtime activities are actually in Lost Omens: Firebrands from smuggling to hiring NPC guides or spies various different topics of hiring people to do things. A lot of people also skip over the Lost Omens books figuring they are entirely lore. And they mostly are; but they've also been the products that Paizo uses to update and add additions inbetween bigger releases. Firebrands and Services for instance; or Dark Archives and the Secret Organization Services/Downtime Activities.
