@@JawTooth TY for the snow train video. I hope y'all are staying warm. If you get a chance show us a short from today from your porch when you let the dogs out. Hi to Mrs JT too. Love ya.
Well, another blast from the past JT and thank you for putting us together for us to have a video to watch on Friday but anyway as always you stay safe out there and watch your back and we’ll see you on the next one
I missed the beginning that these were reruns, but fun to see them again. No pain, no gain on that long grain train, eh JT … aka frozen hands. Thanks again so much for what you do filming trains … son. 😉
Woke up this morning to 1-2" of snow in Ft.Worth, TX. It was gone by 3:00 pm. The snow, where you are is beautiful ! Thanks for braving the cold temperatures, to bring us a little joy ! Once again THANK YOU, and MAY YOU BE BLESSED WITH SAFE PASSAGE TO AND FROM. AMEN
Thanks for the Super Thanks! I'm just getting ready to film some trains in the snow and I will put that in the gas tank. Thanks for your support Jim, I really appreciate it! Have a great weekend!
@@JimAlderson-cn6ek Heck yeah! It's getting ready to dump 4 or 5 inches of snow and I'm going to get some trains in it I hope. They said it should be starting soon
"That sounds like an intense and fascinating video! Watching snow trains maneuver through tough conditions while handling the freezer bowl and shoo fly bypass track shows just how skilled these operators are. The railroad switching in Indiana and Ohio RY, along with the involvement of NS, really highlights the complexity of railroading in extreme weather. It’s a perfect example of how trains and their crews overcome tough challenges!"
Thanks for reposting these super train videos, Jaw Tooth! I'd forgotten that freights were so long! You have no problem challenging Mama Nature; just be careful and safe...
Last night I drove home in a big snow storm. I filmed trains in Hamilton and it started snowing just before it got dark. I'm starting to work on that video now. It's fun to film trains in the snow. Thanks for watching Connor!
@@nocapconnor600 The wrecks that I saw didn't appear to have any serious injuries. I had my scanner on and listened to a couple of them. I filmed some of the fire trucks when I drove by them.
Two COOL Norfolk Southern trains and some AWESOME Indiana and Ohio locomotives pulling CSX grain cars! Very COOL short line train as well! Thanks for getting out in the snow and making these videos JT!
I enjoyed watching this nostalgic video, Jaw Tooth! You took us back to February 2021 to the shoo-fly in Ruchwood, Kentucky to the beginning of the construction project to re-route vehicular traffic under a new railroad overpass that would eliminate two dangerous road crossings on the Norfolk Southern Rat Hole Line. Then you took us to Wilmington, Ohio to watch the Indiana & Ohio Railway as a train crew built a long grain train. Thank you for documenting these trains for us to enjoy. (POsted on 10 January 2025 at 1805 CST.)
You got some really good videos at that old shoo fly and I love revisiting them from time to time. Snow is horrible to have to deal with and get out in but sure makes for some cool winter scenes. Thank you JT.
Once again "Jawtooth" (Brian) is out there doing it in rain, sleet, snow, it doesn't matter, he's out on the high iron....! Dedication he has in spades...! Another excellent video buddy.... 5 STARS, "Smoke Em"....Greg
I saw the coolest train of old hoppers (spell check changed hoppers to people 😵💫) anyway with grain express & some family lines a few months ago. Looked similar but all CSX locs and all. Thats a neato catch! Ugh. I heard trains all day yesterday from my porch. Nine miles away. Maddening 😂😂😂 i could hear a meetup & err'thang 🥺 I was yelling over messeger- "LISTEN! HEAR THAT!? THATS TWOOOOOOO!!" 😂
I had the VRF LaGrange KY camera live feed on today while working from home, saw the 10,000 ft Autorack train come through in the snow around 11:45 EST. I looked to see if you might have been filming out there today. Besides that there were several shorty trains running back and forth along the street. Pretty cool!
Watching trains going by on a snowy day is really nice and I like seeing your older train videos especially with snow on the ground and seeing the awesome amazing live action super pets have a great weekend watching trains in the snow thanks again Jaw Tooth.☕🚂🚃🚃🇺🇲☕
I'm trying to get a train on that same line but the I&O is running most of their long manifests at night. Scott and I have been trying to get them again. They are hard to get. Thanks for watching!
Hey jaw tooth nice throw backs. If i lived in richwood id be upset. Id rather have crossings no bridges. Cant stop to watch trains on bridge without blocking traffic. Love winter and fall seasons . Conductor on grain train should have cleared crossing let cars go before shoving back to pick up. Have a great railroad day. 🚂🙋♀️
One can virtually feel the (wind) Chill from the speed of the passing train on the shoo-fly. Getting a grain train ready for the road after a snowstorm includes airlines that don't respond as quickly as well as the extra tonnage up on top. Whether the crews throwing switches and spotting cars or the mechanics and carmen crawling on or around ice caked equipment to make it work safely they all earn their money the hard way these days. With cold days and nights No Doubt the dogs and cats enjoy the great warm indoors in weather like this so they can check out those new playthings.
No, I couldn't get my new one done yesterday so I went with a repost of a couple that didn't get many views years ago. We are getting more snow today and tomorrow.
I just now figured out that where the train was getting put together in Midland is likely where a lot of them could be coming from crossing Starbuck Road just off of 22 outside Wilmington. That explains why I heard one coming south of town the other night and then saw it to my west as I was crossing the tracks on Starbuck about 10 minutes later.
Fantastic snow videos. Love tele photo of freights coming around the shoo fly track. Always interesting watching short line action. Thank you
