I have been wanting a PS5 remaster of this game with updated graphics/minicons, trophies and maybe a 3 player CO-OP campaign for ages. And more so this than a WFC/FOC remaster
@@CaptainCybernautFor sure. I guess they would have to include a higher difficulty to accommodate 2 extra players. I imagine it would be a little too easy on Commander with 3 people all at once

This game was truly a Halo counterpart on PS2. The only issue I had with it was just as in the Halo, the environment repetition. We got like the 2 jungle levels, 2 snow levels, 2 island levels. Would be nice to have at least one desert one. And yeah the boss fights here were so awesome I wish we got the unlockable boss rush mode.
I'm so happy more people are making videos of this incredible hidden gem of a masterpiece!! Transformers Armada the Game (as I like to call it) is and will always be my favorite game ever!! It would truly be a blessing to see this game either get re-released, or remastered. it truly deserves it! :>
Fun fact the game is called TRANSFORMERS Armada: The prelude to Energon(super long name most just call it Transformers ps2 lol) I LOVE this game soooo much I'd give anything for a remake its near infinity replayable Awesome video man
@@CaptainCybernaut yw it was based on Cybertron (series) of all things so we could have had a game with the open world zones but instead of alaska and amazon it could have been all the planets like ukarus aquatron Velocitron and more would have been AMAZING
Not trying to make anything too crazy hopeful sounding. But I've been in very VERY light development for trying my hand at porting this game to unity/trying to remake the game (roughly on and off for the last 6 years). My current problem is trying to find one of the devs who are willing to give out the source code as I'm very much an amateur dev, and want to work with what things have been left in the game as well. But hey maybe one day on my channel I'll put a trailer out if I can motivate myself more :p
unfortunately none of the devs have the original source code or at the very least it would cause some significant legal issues if they were to give it out publically after all these years. Either way, im sure myself and other members of the modern tf04 community would like to see what youve been working on!
Ah I remember this game...I remember fighting unicron and the sticky minicon that makes enemy panicks hahaha also the giant mobs and enemies around everywhere it feels like a horror game. For the first starscream fight... I use laser beam minicon and find in the water....starscream can't hit u. Also it is very funny how cycloness keeps throwing us off even tho I am optimus prime leader of the autobots lol Title wave so big...he should be considered as big as metroplex city titan bots. And in the anime he combines with megatron. Just how????

Still have this game and its awesome first seeing tidalwave was a Titan. Play Wfc Foc and the Darkspark all good games even Darkside of the moon was fun.
This game absolutely deserves a remaster. I do remember it being burtally hard though! But that could have just been down to 12 year old me sucking back then.
This game was a blast it isn’t without flaws thats for sure but as a product of its time the game fun in the feeling of playing as an autobot great visuals and cutscenes and it really set the transformers games on the path to what they are now personally id re play this over Rise of the Dark Spark any day

A co-op campaign is a great idea. Just imagine driving around the map with a bunch of friends. Love it already!

This game looks like someone managed to stuff an entire OG Xbox into the disc, because this does not look it should be possible to run on PS2
