@@TheJ9179 I loved voir dire and picked awesome juries. I won far more trials than I lost; and I was board certified in civil law for 15 years. I also was a prosecutor in my early lawyering years, and that was a totally fun job. Most of the judges had great senses of humor and didn't get to have attractive female trial lawyers actually do a trial from voir dire to closing argument. I had one jerk lawyer from Broward come to the Gulf Coast to defend a rich divorced woman. He said things (totally inappropriate) to the venire like, "Will you hold it against me because she is so much better looking than I am?" I threw up a little in my mouth when he said that. He kept doing that sort of thing throughout the trial. I love what I do!

He violated the Impoundment Control Act, or codified, Sections 601-606 of Title 2 of the United States Code. That's obviously not an article in the impeachment, but we can't say he's innocent anymore. The question now is does anything Trump did in this whole episode rise to a level warranting removal. I'd put the chance that you can get 20 republican senators on board with removal at 0.0%. But when a democratic presidential candidate goes on TV and says "China if you're listening, when I become president, those tariffs will be removed on day one" republicans will have to be cool with China lending a few hundred million helping hands. If Trump can do whatever he wants without consequence (pretty much the story of his life), then the democrats should be able to do the same.
