    Wow I am spoiled my transfer stations are open 7 days a week. It would be hard not having a dump open on Monday.

      There are other dumps around me but they're a pain in the ass to get to. I don't care for the hour plus round trip.

    Good stuff brotha, I have a small business outta Athol Ma. I'm on one of those apps I dialed in a 50 mile radius in all directions. I get jobs here and there not enough to survive on. I have a 13 yard trailer 2016 F250 if you ever need another truck or laborer for a job SRT Recycling and Junk Removal on thumbtack.

    I'm torn between a f350 with a dump or a dump insert for the bed. Or get a dump trailer. What do you guys suggest?

    What was your total dump fee and how much did you charge total for that job?

      I think the total dump fee for everything was around $400. What I charge for a job like this is drastically different than someone with lower dump fees, truck payments, insurance etc. There is a lot of factors that go into pricing that I lay out in another video.

    Question, lets say your headed to a job that pays like $100.00 and on the way you get a call and the guy says i need you right now today to do a 3 house clean out for 9000 dollars but you have to come there and start right now. what do you do?

      Any customer that says "but you have to do it right now" is already screaming IM A RED FLAG. I would take care of my $100 customer and try to set up the $9000 for when it works.

    What do you do with the furniture and good stuff in the houses you clean ? Dump it or sell it cus ppl buy stuffs like that all the time to resell. Just think about it.

      We try to donate as much of the good stuff as we can. My shop is PACKED with furniture that I can't get rid of. I guess re selling this stuff depends on location and how much time you're going to put into it. Ive WASTED a lot of time doing it so I'm having an estate sale business come in and get rid of it all form me.

      I have one trailer. It's at 14ft PJ DM. I think it cost about 8K- 9K when I bought it 2 years ago. 15 Yards. Used they're probably going for 10K-11K right now unfortunately

      A pick up truck is a good start but you can honestly start with anything. Seems like most people start with a vehicle that can pull a trailer and they buy a big enough trailer. I started with a pick up truck, build boards up on the sides of the bed. Once i had enough money (3 months) I bought a dump truck. Best investment I ever made for this business.

      You can do it with anything! Roll off would make it easier for you to load as long as you have space to drop the can.

      You either need to dump. your truck/trailer or off load by hand. They do not touch anything of. yours at the transfer station.
