I would likr to pick your brain fixing to paint roof and sleeper top it's cracked bad statying to see fiberglass, horns will be deleted, what to you recommend as for primer, sealer, top of paint, shes black metal flake, ill be repsinting black with a purple huh
Excellent Work , Body Repair and paint as well , very time consuming - obviously you know -- and people wonder why painting a vehicle costs what it does , Very Professional, Luv that shade of Blue 👍👍👍👍
Looks good. I wasn't real sure how the blue and tan would look together but it looks good and it's different... I think the old style bullet cab lights look a lot better too. It wasn't funny, but it was, and I had to laugh at the beginning of the video when you were showing the roof cap that was full of cracks, and you said the previous painter kept hosing on the paint trying to fill the cracks. LOL... You know that when he was spraying it, he kept telling himself that it just needed a little more paint and eventually it would fill the cracks. That looked horrible. It looked like there was about 1/8 inch of paint on it.
Hey Ray I love your videos. I learned a lot. I'm 60 years old and you still never quit learning, but I was wondering if you can make some longer videos, kinda a little more in depth of what you do with your, uh, painting and Body work prep work if you can't.That's fine too I mean, I like your short ones too, Thanks for reading
As time goes on...I will be making more tutorial style videos. Once they get past the 25 or so minute mark though...a bunch of the viewership drops off. I try not to get over 30 minutes usually. However, if you go back into the video catalog...there are many tutorial videos i've already made on many subjects. I have covered most aspects of the biz at one time or another ...so there is some stuff to see if you haven't already. Thanks a lot, buddy!
I do believe that's my favorite color scheme you've done! Reminds me of the old "Marine Blue" color mack used to offer, think the PPG code is 10701. Beautiful color, Michigan paints their state police vehicles the same shade. Mighty fine work there boys!
Great job sir.The truck is looking nice again. Im watching from the Netherlands. Good luck with future projects and say hello and a hug for Kevin. Mike
Wow that's bad A** paint job, you are the awesomest person I love the way you go through the Details of how you're going to do. The job never really makes people understand how much work you do and your team so hats off to you and your team. If I had a truck I would definitely bring it to you. No questions. Ask kuto's brother For all your hard work cause I know you put your heart and soul into it definitely shows.Keep up the good Work God speed.Do you guys keep doing what you're doing bro?You are definitely awesome your Friend gypsy john from detroit michigan
Great looking truck when you & crew finished. Sure have extremes in the weather, snow to 100f ! Here in Australia where I live goes from about 10c to a few days above 40c in summer 🇦🇺
Maybe one episode you can show us your shop setup like the ventilation system you made work for your shop. So if we wanted to do a makeshift setup like yours for doing some small work. I know you usually open your big doors partially but the fan and compressor to get that dry air. Thanks.
I use a binks 2001 gun for both my siphon gun as well as my pressure pot gun. They are not the same as each other though. each is made for its use. thanks, Kevin.
Hey Ray love watching you and the family rebirth these trucks the finish is amazing ,just curious how many man hours do these paint job actually take Again mate great viewing Kym Adelaide
The blue is called bright blue and its number is 920629 (PPG). The brown is called steelcase warm brown and its number is 920768 (PPG) Thanks a lot, my friend!
U , the boys and daughter have and eye for detail . I was wondering how many days or hours is involved from sand blasting to when u pull it out of ur shop ? Awesome job i can see why u have them lined out.
If you look back through my video catalog...you could actually watch the entire process if you wanted to . You'd have to go back a few years...but it's still there. Thanks!
What’s the lead time to get on the schedule? You’re in Wyoming or out west somewhere right? I think I’ve seen just about all your painting vids and I’m in need badly. Would love to have my 96 flat top Freightliner painted, chassis too.
I built it from trampoline poles, chicken wire, and fiberglass a few years back. There are a few videos of the process on this channel...you just have to go back a ways to find them
Sounds great! I've done my share of 359s as well over the years. You can either hit me up on messenger, or call or text 307 746 5915. If you send some pics to that number while you're at it, and I will then be able to get you some numbers. Thanks a lot!

Thanks a lot, my friend from down under! Yeah...here in Wyoming we have some pretty wild weather swings. It's very tricky to garden here as a result.
Maybe one episode you can show us your shop setup like the ventilation system you made work for your shop.

Thanks a lot! Trucks like this one are in my shop for around 10 days to 2 weeks usually.
Tell us more about the dragon sculpture that's in the shop .
If you look back through my video catalog...you could actually watch the entire process if you wanted to . You'd have to go back a few years...but it's still there. Thanks!
Those short fairings are factory think they call them California cut or something like that
I'm sure you are correct in at least part of your assumption. However, in this case, the owner actually hired a guy to cut these ones off.
@teams.t.e.a.m6214 ok I should have paid closer attention I see now that there is no fold in the sheet like would be factory.
What’s the lead time to get on the schedule? You’re in Wyoming or out west somewhere right? I think I’ve seen just about all your painting vids and I’m in need badly. Would love to have my 96 flat top Freightliner painted, chassis too.

I'm just curious how long did it take you from the time you started untill you put it all back together ?
Around 2 weeks on this one.
Whats up with that dragon statue?
I built it from trampoline poles, chicken wire, and fiberglass a few years back. There are a few videos of the process on this channel...you just have to go back a ways to find them
