    Very cool. Are you tuning based on individual cylinder EGTs or do you have lambdas fitted on each cylinder?
    Also not to nitpick but I think a $25 lapel mic could really clean up the narration a bit (not bad now, like I say, being nitpicky, love the content!!)

    • @SuperbikeUnlimited

      We're having trouble finding a mic that plays nicely with the Hero mic adapter, unfortunately.
      We have a lambda on each collector. 👌

    This is so dope! Completely had no idea that you tune it down to each & every cylinder. All I know is that tuners just give you a map on different fuel I guess thats the difference between street racer vs trackday boys.
    On a serious note, 93 pump outputting a 213WHP with stock components on a fairly conservative dyno is mental! & probably the electronics had work its magic as well, ohh also the dude that tunes it. How much more if you can get your hands on a factory race cylinder heads I guess 240whp is very achievable?Cheers!

    • @SuperbikeUnlimited
      @SuperbikeUnlimited  3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      The engine gains from where we are will be minimal, we've been getting some pretty candid info that the heads and cams set is only worth a few horsepower. There's no surprise there, given the current power level. That said, with certain fuels, we think we can get 225+.

    Freddy. I would love your help since you have made a video about the trans- logic quickshifter /autoblipper setup on the V4R. I bought the autoblipper from SBK and installed it on my 2018 v4s. From factory plug in, the shifter (translogic) only does GP ( reverse ). Have you had that experience with installing yours? Even when using the adapter and removed , it only GP shifts rather than default stock shifting like the factory auto blipper from ducati.
    Have sent out message to SBK and translogic. I haven't seen any videos online of installing this autoblipper (stand alone unit ) from other sources accept the one you have on your race bike.
    Thank you.

    Great video! Keep up the good work! I haven't managed to answer a question so far: We all that the V4R makes more power than other World SBK bikes! How much power more power would you expect from a V4R compared to let's say R1 or zx10, Fireblade in a World SBK set up (not stock)?

    Hi, so the plastic bike stuff is for standard radiators only? what mods can I have on the bike and still have a plastic bike bodywork - is it the same for all bike manufacturers?
    What brand bodywork do you run now and how would one know what to buy if i runs a big radiator?

  • @josegerman8877
    @josegerman8877 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Do these mods on your channel benefit the average trackday rider not just true racer, specifically cost effectiveness to beneficial gains for the average trackday rider maybe 1 or 2 CCS races a year for example? Thanks for the content SBU.

    • @SuperbikeUnlimited
      @SuperbikeUnlimited  3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      These modifications will benefit riders of all kinds, the question becomes the return on the investment. The electronics especially are something that will help riders of all levels. Do they need the Superbike forks, brakes, shock, etc? There's probably a less apparent gain there for intermediate-level riders, but still an improvement. For many, speed comes down to confidence and having the best inspires confidence.

    Love the channel and drooling over the bikes.
    Can you answer in layman's terms, why bikes have such different fuelling maps per cylinder?
    Even the stock maps on my bikes are very different for each cylinder.

    • @GRothermel
      @GRothermel 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Likely a lot is to do with resonance from the air pulses inside the airbox. As the valves on each cylinder close, they send a shockwave backwards up the inlet tracks. These pressure waves then bounce around inside the airbox. It takes massive amounts of math and modeling, but at very high levels of competition(think F1, MotoGP, etc) engineers will tune the volume and shape of the airboxes to bounce these pressure waves into other cylinders. So at certain RPM ranges these pressure waves can be used to force more air into an adjacent cylinder than it might be able to pull in on its own. At those points you start seeing efficiency values of more than 100% for certain cylinders at certain RPM.

    Why are you not running a knock sensor, I know you mentioned you would rather use the port for a shock potentiometer but I reckon the engine tune might be more productive.

    • @SuperbikeUnlimited
      @SuperbikeUnlimited  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Knock sensors are not normally used on applications like this. We develop a proper map and use consistent fuel, there won't be any knock.

    Why is each cylinder so different? Does the airbox not do a good job of properly distributing the air source for the throttle bodies? Are the injectors not balanced that well from the factory? Are there voltage anomalies occurring with each injector? Or is this something that every bike/engine has that I never knew?😂
