I’m in the USA. Even though I’m really unhappy with the current political situation, I don’t think I would want to leave permanently because of all my family being here. But I would enjoy living in a European country for a few months. I have visited Italy, the UK, Norway, and Denmark (as well as Canada and Mexico). I’d like to see Spain and France, but I’d also like to revisit Norway and Denmark. Norway is maybe the most beautiful place I’ve been for natural scenery, but I think I might be more at home in Denmark. I find Italian and Spanish easier languages though, even though I’m trying really hard to learn Danish and Norwegian.

Hi Anna, good luck to find your next living place! I'm italian and i live in Bologna, I can see all our problems and Italy for sure it's not the best place to look for a job. But I love to live here and would never move. I travel a lot, it's my favourite thing, and I always try to melt with the locals and to understand their culture and their way of living, but after few weeks I'm always happy to go back to Bologna. In my opinion living standards here are very high, but for a foreign there's the language barrier that can be steep. BTW Bologna it's a bit out from the turistic tracks, but I highly suggest you to visit it next time you come to Italy. It's strategically located between Milan and Florance and every train going noth-south route passes from Bologna. Few turists, the real italian deal, beutiful medioeval city, very alive with a lot of cultural and fun things, and very human made. It's mostly walkable and cars are forbidden downtown. We have the oldest university in the world (almost 1000 years old), so there are a lot of students that make the city very active! Ciao and good luck again.

Hi Anna! I know of a very deserving lady who can use some financial support. I give when I can but she could use more. She’s a teacher (named Dorcas) and she helps single teenage mothers get housing and pay for school. She works tirelessly and asks for no help at all. My wife and I visited her at her home for a couple of months where she was also (on top of being a public school teacher) was running a primary school for about 150 local less fortunate children. These children didn’t all have shoes or even food except what she fed them but they had so much joy and love! She started building dorms for the neglected kids but due to a lack of funding the building stopped AND the school closed. She still helps the teenage moms with her own money but it’s her dream to start the school back and house the children. It’s in Oyugis Kenya and her school name is Happy Home. The teachers only make £1.50 a month and the cost to run the school is pretty low (for our western standards). It’s a great charity and many many people would benefit from your help! Please let me know if you would like to help them!
Thanks for sharing. This is a pretty brave decision. Good luck with a new place! Anna, if you happen to be in Oslo and do some fans gathering, I would be happy to come to meet you in person :)
2:26: I think this is a perspective that is a money sink to a lot of people, and therefore making it even harder to get into the housing market, which is already hard enough as it is in most places. Moving somewhere cheaper usually makes it easier to save up money to eventually buy a flat or a cheap house. Keep it for a while, either rent it out or live there yourself, then sell it and try to upgrade. It is an old strategy, but not everyone is willing to make the long term commitment for various reasons. Unless you want to rent all your life, you likely have to make some sacrifices in order to save money.
I didn’t rent it 🙂 but in some places in London it’s much cheaper to rent than to own. ‘Robin Hood strategy’ how its called in certain areas of London. Let’s see if the government can fix the damage that was clearly done by Brexit 🙂 Im giving it a year, maximum 2 and then we will see the result
I used to live i london near kew gardens in the 1970s. Very busy lots to do very expensive. It was a nice city not so sure now. My hone for 50 years is brighton, thats also gettinv expensive. I also lived in germany and austria i n the 1990s
Ok, if I am wrong about this so be it . I was under the impression all of Europe was getting expensive to live in. For example, they are going to shoot the Daryl Dixon walking dead series in Paras France one of the lead actors was left the show because of the expensive cost of liveing in France. If I am wrong please feel free to correct me . Love your videos
I wasn’t really staying there 😉 that’s why it actually feels like a very easy, organic move 🙂 for now 😉 Let’s see what the future brings 😎 Thank you so much for watching ❤️ and stay safe 🤗
In the name of the Afro Viking Alliance I salute you! Always a shame to see any Londoner leave but fully understand your concerns: Brexit has had a very negative impact for sure but the ruling party will never, ever admit to that... If you add the pandemic and geopolitics on top of that, then it makes sense that all neo-liberal developed economies, including the UK, are having a hard time of it. In London's defence, it is a great, great place to meet like-minded people, so if you are an entrepreneur, that means that there is an increased chance you could find co-founders and your team here. Agree also about the rents. To bag an alleged 'bargain' these days in the UK's capital city, you need to live further out and near a train line/ tube station. (The post code might not be so fashionable but the quality of life is better and you might end up with a good commute for an airport like Gatwick or Stansted! :) #BrightSideOfLife I only disagree on one point. 'Distractions'... I have a different take: As a World City, there are enormous amount of opportunities to network across the entire ecosystem in London: Every day there are government, university, media, brand, charity events to attend. And those contacts you make, may lead to better quality/ compensated opportunities. You just never know whom you might meet... Anyway, I wish you safe travels on your journeys to come and recommend you look at northern Portugal, southern Spain and southern Italy or Sicily as options for a base.
Sounds like you are living beyond your means and not making decisions based on logic or fact... London is no different to any other city and job opportunities here are much better than many. If you had a job in IT or Finance you would realise that. My salary has increased massively over the past 10 yrs and the only place that could rival it would be Singapore or Hong Kong. There is a reason so many come here for jobs. Also renting a new build apartment with service charges is the probably not one of the brightest decisions. If you bought a property and owned the freehold or shared it then you would not have service charges. Finally clearly someone has upset you about Brexit... Nothing has changed, shelves aren't empty and inflation is something all western countries are dealing with. Ive been to Spain and Italy and a lot of the items there are more expensive and lets not start about electricity prices there... Appreciate the video is your subjective opinion, but a lot of the reasons could be avoided if some thought actually went into your decisions. Making decisions on emotion is never going to align with the logic from Rich Dad Poor Dad and that's exactly why I bought a property rather than paying rent on a nice central apartment.
Hi Anna . Hats of to your wonderful endeavour of supporting charity work. Kudos to u. can you please tell me which camera you are using while making vlogs and travelling? and yes please , if you could tell me how much costlier comparable to LOndon is Weston Supermare? like roughly 1: 1 or like what?
Good luck on your travels! Very envious of your free spirit! If I were your age again, I would do the same and check out the world. I do love my country (Canadian eh!) and would definitely come back but to experience other cultures would be amazing! Life's too short. Cheers!
Good for you! I'd leave at the drop of a hat if I were your age - the UK has fallen so far down post Brexit and the weather is rubbish! Keep travelling and I love your videos - found you when searching for tips on Sicily where I'm going soon (hopefully with the airport and fire issues 😮).. looking forward to hearing about your next adventures ❤
Hi there, the same for me. I live in the Uk and now want to go to France for studying French (simpler than English for me)...Never studied French before btw. And I read that book! Have you considered moving to another city in the UK. The north of England should be cheaper than the south.
I cannot relate to this video of someone highly paid who complains about London. Try with family of 4 on minim wage in a council house around west london
Britain is broken darling get out now greed is taken over in Britain ,I’m glad I got out ,I’m now living in Australia which is getting expensive now to
London must really have increased their prices of things if you find them comparable with Norway. You made some excellent points in the video . Thanks Anna✌️
Well.. yeah! It was really shocking ☺️ compare to the neighbouring France and especially Italy 😬 So for now .. I’ll better stay in the continent for a few months 😉 Thank you very much for watching ❤️ stay safe 🤗
In London we pay a much higher price compared to the rest of the country - yes we may get paid more (used to be called London waiting) but then we pay higher taxes. Its well known that for the price you pay for a 1 bed flat in London, you could easily buy a bigger space out side of London. Problem is you wont get as big a salary. I guess it also depends what you do for work....but to be fair, I could never afford the pad you have....and I'm a born and bred Brit, educated to degree level and been working in centeal london for +25yrs lol so as bad as it may be for you, spare a thought for the rest of us who call that place home 😂
BACK TO NORWAY?????...LONDON IS TOO COSMOPOLITAN AND...COLD...I NEVER LIKED IT....ENGLISH PEOPLE ARE COLD.. NORWAY SOUNDS GOOOD..HOMY...WARM...COUNTRY ON ITS OWN...INDEPENDENT OF ALL ERUPEAN STUFF.
Maybe spend a little time in eastern Tennessee, where my late parents spent their retirement? Low cost of living, gorgeous scenery, not heavily populated, everything you need is well within driving distance. Not to mention lots of history and folklore connected to east Tennessee, especially in Cumberland County! Anyway, it's just a suggestion... :)
Never understood what people are doing in London, if they don't have the means to afford it? Just make a list what you want and then find the place that offers what you want within your budget. A nice apartment in London, 1 bed for a single person, is £4,000 pr month. Of course, if you don'r mind living 1 hour in train of where you want to be, you can find something for £2,000 so you 'only' need to make £34,000 to afford only your apartment. If you also want to eat, buy clothes and other things, AND live in London, you need around £160,000 salary. If you don't have this kind of salary, London is not for you.
Hi Henrik 🤗 super true .. unfortunately it is 🙂 These days if you want to live in London you have these options: 1. Very well paid job (£150k+) which is very rare! Id give it no more than 10% of population 2. You have your regular job + a few streams of income of your side hustle - this is what I’m preaching about 🙂 as you can convert your side hustle into business later .. realise that London is pricy and leave it for a while 😁 3. You keep sharing your life with other people for decades : your apartment, bills, car, etc .. hoping one day to make enough savings to afford your own place. At some point it becomes depressing 🙂 And I believe that we all deserve better life ☺️ So please stay safe and be happy ❤️
@@henrik4438 you really believe that relying on someone this way you’ll be happy ? 1. Why would this person get full responsibility for you? You are not his / her kid 2. What value will you bring to such alliance? 3. Last but not least and very typical: tomorrow this person is leaving. What you are going to do? Think about it 😉 your life is your responsibility and it’s only in your hands 🤗
Hi Anna, I like your content. Good work. I am a little bit like you, except I am not that pretty. I guess they calling us expats or gypsies 🙂Do I hear a russian accent out of you, or am I totally wrong.
people who want to settle will settle. You wanted an apartment in London so you can rent it out and use the rent money to go retire back home. You worked a bit and bought an apartment and now are about to retire back home. Please stop lying about your reasons and be honest about your intentions.
I saw (what I believe to be) you and your boyfriend in Kirkenes where you traveled together. Is he moving with you? Who else has seen her together with her boyfriends? Please answer her since she is trying to trick men to think she is a poor lonely girl to get views?
Well, England is an island, and is not particularly resource self sufficient. When, they had their vaunted British Empire they could compensate by acquiring resources from their Colonies. Well, the Limey Empire went the way of the DoDo🦤, or like a nice big doodoo flushed down the toilet. Since the 1960’s, England, once the birthplace and powerhouse of the Industrial Revolution, has been de-industrializing its own economy, shipping overseas their manufacturing jobs abroad where wages are lower. The Limeys are a persistent lot. They have been digging their economic hole for more than 60years. What you are seeing is the result of decades of their hard persistent work dismantling their own economy. In general gasoline prices in Europe are horrible when compared to North America. But, Gasoline prices in England have always been particularly obscene.
@@AnnaGoldmanTravel : England, today, kind of reminds me of the rich “trust-fund kids”, at university, who all of a sudden find out they are now broke. There is a certain, kind of sadistic, satisfaction in watching their torment.
nu esli vy nedotroga i nehodite po tusovkam, to poniatnoe delo, chto london budet vygliadet' nudnym... poverte, tut samye luchshie DJ's v mire... i narkotu legko dostat' mozhno.
What your saying is that you are getting older and realise you can’t afford life in London. How about go from where you are. Be with you man Have a child be a mom be near family forget this illusion.
Hi anna You make excellent videos. Im English & England is not the country it used to be because of uk politicians & the evil Eu criminals. England's borders should never have been opened to eastern Europeans which has been a big drain on housing schools & our NHS. I wanted to go & live in the Philippines but do not have enough money to retire there. I hope you find something better in another country. Bless you.
I don’t think you need to blame Eastern Europeans for your problems. As I can see, Eastern Europe is the fastest-growing region in the world at the moment.

Yes im Norwegians and almost everything costs much money😢så dyrt håper du liker deg i norge
Yeh! I agree with most of that! but Norway? Just couldn’t stand their terrible winters! They seem to last most of the year!
Kongsberg is calling your name❤️
🤩🤩🤩 honestly 🙄
I would love to 😉☺️
@@AnnaGoldmanTravel found alot of new cool spots for sunday-hikes👀 haha!
Thanks for sharing. This is a pretty brave decision. Good luck with a new place!
Anna, if you happen to be in Oslo and do some fans gathering, I would be happy to come to meet you in person :)
Wow!! That’s a great idea 🤩🤩
Actually .. let me think about it! 😉 I’m sure we can organise something!
I live in South of France & I am moving to London on next month!! Am I crazy?!!
Probably
Let’s see if the government can fix the damage that was clearly done by Brexit 🙂
Im giving it a year, maximum 2 and then we will see the result
@@AnnaGoldmanTravel Oh, my bad. Misunderstood.
Either way I hope it all works out!
Good morning from Papua New Guinea. I enjoyed watching your contents.
I liked and subscribed to your TH-cam channel for more contents.
What area of London does she currently live in?
I used to live i london near kew gardens in the 1970s. Very busy lots to do very expensive. It was a nice city not so sure now.
My hone for 50 years is brighton, thats also gettinv expensive. I also lived in germany and austria i n the 1990s
Where did you move to?
Ok, if I am wrong about this so be it . I was under the impression all of Europe was getting expensive to live in. For example, they are going to shoot the Daryl Dixon walking dead series in Paras France one of the lead actors was left the show because of the expensive cost of liveing in France. If I am wrong please feel free to correct me . Love your videos
Well… I’m currently in Paris, it is cheaper than London. I’ll check Rome in a few weeks time 😉 I’ll keep you posted on the subject 🤗
vs the sound of it it sounds to me that your going to France, hope it treat youj better then the last stay in london did then
I wasn’t really staying there 😉 that’s why it actually feels like a very easy, organic move 🙂 for now 😉
Let’s see what the future brings 😎
Thank you so much for watching ❤️ and stay safe 🤗
Welcome back to Norway 😊
:) #BrightSideOfLife
I only disagree on one point.
Cheers!
How do you pay 4600£ pr month what
What? In London there is council housing, and you can bask in Universal Credit!
Im making a bit too much for council housing 🙄 that’s why I’m paying 45% tax in the UK to cover their needs 🙂
If there was they wouldnt be pushing people in council and those on benefits further out of London , burdening other local authorities housing stock.
Come here and live in Italy, we could get engaged ❤❤❤❤❤❤
You have to come to live in Africa is a good place to live especially The Gambia 🇬🇲
YOU ARE FABULOUS 🙏👏🔥💜
Анюта, а разве не прекрасно, что жизнь в Лондоне дорожает? Ведь там будут оставаться только богатые, среди богатых находиться приятнее и безопаснее.
Stay well

Why anyone would want to live in London is beyond me. It couldn't be any more of a dump and it's getting worse every day.
That’s true ☺️ I guess it just takes time other people to agree with with you 😉
Thank you for watching 🤗
Move to Summerlin Las Vegas USA . ✨✨✨✨🇺🇸🎰
Hi there,
the same for me.
Britain is broken darling get out now greed is taken over in Britain ,I’m glad I got out ,I’m now living in Australia which is getting expensive now to
Alot of people are leaving London its way too expensive to live eventually London will only be for high class people and businesses
London must really have increased their prices of things if you find them comparable with Norway.
You made some excellent points in the video .
Thanks Anna✌️
Well.. yeah! It was really shocking ☺️ compare to the neighbouring France and especially Italy 😬
So for now .. I’ll better stay in the continent for a few months 😉
Thank you very much for watching ❤️ stay safe 🤗
@@AnnaGoldmanTravel I would think Italy would be less expensive than Paris, but I'm sure you will find out .
At least the wages are more in line with France than Norway...
Thank you so much 🤗 stay safe ❤️
London isn't England, go up north the people aren't cold
One leaves... thousands arrive...
London is grey, expensive and increasingly depressing.....even in the summer.
That’s true 😉
Thank you so much 🤗 stay safe ❤️
Scotland is not any better.
Molto Bene ...Pensavo che tu era Italiana ...
Hi Henrik 🤗 super true .. unfortunately it is 🙂
These days if you want to live in London you have these options:
1. Very well paid job (£150k+) which is very rare! Id give it no more than 10% of population
2. You have your regular job + a few streams of income of your side hustle - this is what I’m preaching about 🙂 as you can convert your side hustle into business later .. realise that London is pricy and leave it for a while 😁
3. You keep sharing your life with other people for decades : your apartment, bills, car, etc .. hoping one day to make enough savings to afford your own place. At some point it becomes depressing 🙂
And I believe that we all deserve better life ☺️
So please stay safe and be happy ❤️
@@AnnaGoldmanTravel 4. Get married to someone you like, who has the London Lifestyle already set up and willing to share it.
@@henrik4438 you really believe that relying on someone this way you’ll be happy ?
1. Why would this person get full responsibility for you? You are not his / her kid
2. What value will you bring to such alliance?
3. Last but not least and very typical: tomorrow this person is leaving. What you are going to do?
Think about it 😉 your life is your responsibility and it’s only in your hands 🤗
There are better parts of the UK than London Anna ❤
Hi Anna, I like your content. Good work. I am a little bit like you, except I am not that pretty. I guess they calling us expats or gypsies 🙂Do I hear a russian accent out of you, or am I totally wrong.
And nothing of value was lost.
You done right to leave
people who want to settle will settle. You wanted an apartment in London so you can rent it out and use the rent money to go retire back home. You worked a bit and bought an apartment and now are about to retire back home.
Please stop lying about your reasons and be honest about your intentions.
Try South East Asia😊
I saw (what I believe to be) you and your boyfriend in Kirkenes where you traveled together. Is he moving with you? Who else has seen her together with her boyfriends? Please answer her since she is trying to trick men to think she is a poor lonely girl to get views?
try Philippines.....
Anna BAILS! 😂❤😢
🇧🇷 you’re coming to me
Whats wrong liveing in london whats bad its a cool state
OK, love. Could you just go and not make any videos about it, though?
I invite you to move to Texas.
Come to Manchester - London is too expensive and has outpriced itself fir certain people
Ugly truth: from a foreigner perspective England is pretty shit outside London.
🤩🤩🤩 great one! Love it 👏🏻👏🏻
Thank you so much indeed for your comment!
@@AnnaGoldmanTravel : England, today, kind of reminds me of the rich “trust-fund kids”, at university, who all of a sudden find out they are now broke. There is a certain, kind of sadistic, satisfaction in watching their torment.
England is not an island, sort of lost interest after that.
@@taylort5672 : Ya, Limeylandia only a portion of an island.
London😂
Are you insane?
Edinburgh,Scotland is the place everybody is moving to now and its very close to Norway!
It’s not me, it’s London 😈 and it is insane 🤣🤣 gosh I would live to visit Scotland 🤩🤩 hopefully soon ☺️
So don’t be surprised if I stay 🙂
Scotland is a small place and can get miserable in winter and also gets flooded. London is cheaper.

Wow, Norwegian with Russian speaking accent.
Hi anna
You make excellent videos.
I think the biggest immigration comes from India and Africa in London...
