I'm back from a nice walk and I see that my favorite Christy has uploaded a new video? My Sunday just became even better! Btw, I'm currently reading "The last children of Tokyo"- Yoko Tawada after you mentioned the book in a previous video! 😉Thanks, Christy, always a pleasure to watch your content!

I just read THE HIDDEN PALACE by Helene Wecker. It’s the sequel to THE GOLEM AND THE JINNI. It was amazing! It’s so special for a reader when a sequel is just as good or even better than the first book 😍

I would have to say All My Rage by Sabaa Tahir is my favorite book so far this year. My favorite non-fiction book is The World's Worst Assistant by Sona Movsesian. I'll definitely have to check out The Emissary.

"Legends & Lattes" totally sounds like a Japanese light novel or anime, like it's Japanese title might be "A Coffee House In Another World" or "I'm an Orc, but all I want to do is make lattes!!"

I've been reading the Realm of the Elderlings series since June 2022. Currently on book 15, almost finished it. That means there's one more book left. If I finish before mid-June, that'd mean I've read the entire series within a year!
I cannot recommend this series enough. I was never a person who enjoyed longer high-fantasy series, but Hobb is just plain fantastic. However, I'm also looking forward to reading more standalones as well as series by different authors, as the ROTE books have kind of taken over my reading life.

Love these kinds of books while having a snack, so thank you Christy!
I finished writing my fallen book in my notebook, so I'm up to 61412 word count in google docs, up to Chapter 19. But I'm also thinking about doing a dark fantasy book based on the fairy tale characters, do you have any tips to help me through it. I'm keeping it away from Disney stuff, though and trying to keep it within the original tales of the fairy tale characters.
but thank you for the video!!!!!!!!!!
I just started on a few books for may.
    IT by Stephen King
Run, Rose, Run by James Patterson and Dolly Parton.
started on the Jack Reacher books by Lee Child
Six of the rows by Leigh Bardugo (I think you've read this, right?)
And doing a re-read on James and the Giant Peach by Roald Dahl.
so that's my May reading list, hopefully I finish them soon!
