I heartily recommend the double dip! Soundwave is probably the worst of them but even he's a pretty good figure with two cool modes. The Starscream is great and absolutely drips character. The Optimus is sublime. Killer in both modes. Definitely worth the outlay.
@@peaughI found him at target and Walmart but I didn't get him but I told a friend of mine about the gamer addition bumblebee single boxed figure and he was happy to get it because he didn't want to spend the money on the two pack that had him and Starscream
The Starscream is surprisingly good. I really wish Hasbro releases Reactivate Optimus and Soundwave on their own; I could never get a hold of the two pack.
The first time I tried transforming this guy from the 2-pack, his neck peg snapped. Glad to see him come back on his own, but I'm not sure if I'm ready to roll the dice again.
I almost wrecked this dude sooo many times during transformation. My brain couldn’t wrap around the chest movement ha- but man, he and starscream are probably up there with my favorites for the year. So different and cool.
The only way i found to not have problems with the neck assembly is to assemble all the chest and body first and put the head down on as the last step, with the body assembled the space available is more than before, you just keep the head assembly over the body until the rest is ready, that way you don't have any clearance issues or scrapping. When going back to vehicule mode you just pull the yellow tab up to lift up the head assembly, then disassemble the body and put the roof together then follow the rest of steps
Skipped out on this guy at Target, mainly because I don't want to go down the rabbit whole of collecting another line, but damn, he does look really fun. Might have to go back and get him.
I got the 2 pack. And Starscream is very good actually. I wish if they want to do a new 86 Starscream, they should use the engineering of reactivate Starscream. Because reactivate Starscream, the jet nosecone is inside the body. So no jet nosecone backpack and the figure has waist rotation.
This has a "clean" deco compared to the Reactivate release. I too never knew about the sliding grill but when I went to check my copy from the two pack the grill was already in position. I wonder if through the natural course of transformation it slides into place.
I wondered about that. I thought the two-pack was a little more dirtied up, but most video reviews I checked when I was having trouble initially with the backpack didn't seem much different.
Do you think this Bumblebee would look out of place next to the War For Cybertron gamer figures? I'm curious about just him really but my collector brain is having trouble deciding where I'd put him 😅
Wait, the car bonnect suppose to be sink that back into the backpack??? Well ok when I got my out of the box (two pack) the bonnet piece was sink DEEP into the backpack to the point it was under that inner frame instead of above it (the natural stopping point)! Took a hell of an time to pushed it out of the backpack but it left a stress mark on the bonnet. That being said, it's not too bad as it look like a tiny line near where the car wipers would be located! Looking about my figure now, I guess it's safe to have it sink a little bit deeper as originally, I had the bonnet just resting on top of the backpack.
ignoring the video game drama and all that, just looking at the quality of the toy and design, I think it looks really really good
it's great i really recommend it
It's a super fun toy, video game or not.

Good to hear! might hunt them down after all.
A mature Bumblebee is a rare sight to see.
I've had this figure since the two packs released and I never knew about the chest sliding down! Gonna have to try that now
Let me know how it goes!

Same! Mindblown about that hidden engineering!
@@peaugh It's surprising how it changes the look of the thing, even if ever so subtly. I can't tell if I prefer it slid down or not though

Will have to grab one. Thanks!
I love all those Reactivate figures. Very fresh and solid.

Oh no, sorry to hear it!
@@peaugh Stuff happens. It was a while ago. But if I get him again, you can be sure I'll be very careful and slow when handling him.

I'll give that a try.
I have this figure. Love that this is a figure. Though I am surprised they're re-releasing mainline Reactivate figures as Studio Series.
Argh, a swarm of bees! I like the designs for Reactivate, but even if the game does come out I don't expect them to have stayed the same.
Yeah he's not too rugged, it's like he's hung out with Brawn and Beachcomber. I agree that it'd be great for Cliffjumper too!
Beachcomber might be a good retool.
Strong feeling that Reactivate will never see the light of day...
Yeah, kinda feeling that too.

I don't think I ever saw them at Target or I would have grabbed them before now
@@peaugh I think the single pack just started showing up now along with TFOne Megatron.

Yeah, going to have to pick up that Starscream it sounds like.
Looks like a Nomad vehicle from Cyberpunk 2077.
I still need to play that.
Bought mine today at a Walmart for $24.99 plus tax. Great figure, transformation not for kids. Didn't need the instruccions though.

It would in alt mode, I think. He's a little big scale wise in robot mode, but could work.

Yeah, mine got wedged too deep for a bit as well.
you think the game will ever release? It was supposed to be out now
I hope so!
is this the same figure from the reactivate 2-pack?
Yes, although supposedly with a slightly different paint job.
love this...
I think his alt could have been BeachComber 🤷🏻♂️
Oh yeah, good call!
💯🤩😎
Looks like bee prime
I can see it.
