@@aisnota5192 I think it only cloned itself when there were several people instructing Heather. Only had magic when a thaumaturgist was instructing, only had clones when there were multiple instructors, etc)
My solution for 5733 (aside from not playing the tape in the first place)? Get her to accept her death The way I see it the Slasher wants to give you the same feeling of helplessness as Heather in her final moments by allowing you to communicate. If both Heather and the viewer accept that she's going to die, that would almost certainly confuse the Slasher as it would deny him his apparent purpose
interestingly there WAS a test where the researcher told her that there was no way to survive and that she should commit suicide, but heather instead shook her head and opened the basement door for the killer to kill her
I feel like if the slasher is the person watching with all their skills, wouldn't that mean they have that persons weaknesses and blind spots as well? If you get an old army vet with tons of experience they can pass along but who also has debilitating injuries from their years service, would that carry over?
Not even two minutes in and you have a main player named Heather Campbell. A clear reference to Nancy Campbell and the actress who portrayed her: Heather Langenkamp. It’s clever and i appauld and appreciate
Question since Heather can obviously see you and whoever is watching IS the killer. What would happen if we were to go through that idea with randomly selected orders for Heather again but instead of picking up the instructions and reading them aloud you turn them over to the screen without reading them, so Heather can read them. Since the killer knows everything the viewer knows if the viewer has no idea whats going to happen, the killer shouldn't know either right?
I could be wrong, but my impression is that Heather will only do things that the viewer directly and intentionally tells her to do. She will therefore not obey any commands that said viewer is not themself aware of. I believe this because she always asks the viewer for help before trying anything and we saw that if the viewer gives her no command then she completely gives up and lets herself be killed. She also hasn't shown the ability to read.
I had the same idea, but have 2 people there with one giving instructions outloud and the other writing on paper. Not only would this throw off the killer, but it would also give her more options. If one doesn't work out, she could chose the other
Maybe they could get SCP-2599 Not Good Enough to come in and order her to guide SCP-5733-2 to her doom. Since 2599 cannot complete an order, 5733-2 should be saved.
I have a few questions about this particular SCP. 1.) At what point does Part I of the film become anomalous? Would it be possible to interact with other characters earlier in the film, or just Heather? 2.) What if someone were able to convince Heather (or all the characters) that they were in a movie? 3.) If the same person watched this movie over more than once, would Heather and the Killer be able to remember them? Would Heather be able to remember her past experiences/deaths?
1) After Heather gets trapped in the Basement, before then you can not interact with her. 2) Heather will only listen to advice about how to escape, if it's not at least tangentially related to that in some manner she will just ignore you. 3) No, but the killer is just a copy of the person watching the tape (anomalous/occult abilities that the viewer has are also retained by the copy) so it's likely that it would know about things that the original is aware of.

I really wonder how a fight would go down if it was the slasher vs scp 096
this could be real fun irl because you can like think of what you want her to do. or if your a die hard horror fan (im not) i feel like the point of these movies is to make you more engrossed by either you interacting in it or by having it kind of about you and your home.
I don't understand this ending, its confusing. Is the D class stuck in the video tape or something? Are people who watch it transported into the movie and forced to relive their death in a new way when it is being played? Is that the gist of it?
I believe what happens is when you watch it, the last person to watch it is retroactively erased, or maybe becomes the victim of an unexplained murder, and the tape maybe details it (?) I’ll check the actual SCP.
The entry on the website says, "When watched, the film causes the observer to become a conduit for the localised destabilisation of reality. Only one viewing of the film, ordered by research lead Dr. Carpenter, has been conducted and documented (See test details below). However, it is currently hypothesised that testing may have occurred more times than currently thought." At the end of the test logs (Jaime's story as detailed in the video), it says that said logs were a transcript of the tape's contents. So my understanding is that when you watch the film, you get transported into the tape/an alternate reality where you're in (the filming of) a horror movie, which then becomes the film on the tape, and your existence is wiped from the real world. Sorry for the wall of text lol but I hope this helps.
One other thing. The bit at the end of the test logs also says that the current D-Class who watched the film is in protective custody. So apparently you don't just get sucked into the tape immediately after watching it, or the D-Class would've been gone already. Maybe it happens gradually, or there's another part of the process. Like the Suburb Slasher has to cross over into the real world and physically take you there or something.
Earliest I’ve ever been! Always love seeing you guys made a post! Found the channel a couple months ago, binged and now these are some of my fav videos to put on in the background and listen to the killer voiceover! 🙌
Waiting for Doctor Bright to just straight up telling her to make a chainsaw cannon. Slasher movies villain might expect you to do many thing, but nothing can't be solved by some handy chainsaws.
“If you’re literally trapped in a classic slasher horror movie and your only hope is the person watching the movie, what would you do? I’m going to break down the mistakes made and what you should do to beat the killer in The Suburb Slasher”
I'm late for a year, but still, good video. Also, in the original article Jaime calls the SCP Personal "Friends". That's pretty unrealistic, but still it's pretty cute. Also Researcher Baines looks like a good friend to him (and he tried to get him to the basement, just like best friend of the main character in the tape).
I know how to win at this. It's dark, don't say you weren't warned... convince Heather, to become the slasher. Have her murder everyone in the video before the slasher gets a chance to. By movie logic, this would develope an insane plot twist, the slasher cannot get to her, if SHE is the slasher :)
Ok, I have two ideas for 5733. 1- Play the tape on an old tube tv with an NES system running Duck Hunt in the background. Once the movie becomes anomalous, use the light gun to shoot the slasher. 2- if the Slasher knows everything the viewer knows, make the viewer believe something beneficial to be true. For example, tell the viewer that in each instance, the slasher dies, whether it suffers a heart attack, is killed by Heather, trips and falls face first onto his knife, or is gunned down by police, before he can kill Heather, and instruct the viewer to give Heather the advice “it doesn’t matter what you do, the Slasher’s just gonna die before he gets you.” If the slasher knows what the viewer knows, but has intent differing from the viewer, the slasher might change their objective to their own self preservation and start to avoid Heather, or the viewer’s belief might become true and the slasher will actually die.
The more likely solution for me would be to give her the options but tell her she has to pick the solution without telling the viewer or to purposely tell the viewer wrong info
Hoo hoooo boy! So many slasher references! I love it! I wonder if all of them were intentional. The name Heather, for example. Heather Langenkamp played Nancy Thompson in A Nightmare on Elm Street! Top tier horror movie, just so you know!
Idea: if the killer is a copy of the person helping Heather, get someone with a specific allergy to help and use the allergy against the killer. Might give Heather enough time to take the killer out
Since the first tape uses the killers knowledge and skills, they could just have a child help her, and just tell the child to ask her to fight off the killer. Yeah it’s a killer with a knife, but it’s also a killer that doesn’t know how to use a knife
I know how to do it. Get a person highly susceptible to offers, such as… cough, cough, *fun time* in exchange for life, Then tell the girl to offer him that, and since they are 1 of the same, they won’t die.
I think the only way to beat the Slasher in the first tape is to make Heather kill him with the advice of 2 or more persons, which makes more slashers appear in the movie, but all of them is just the master of one advice, like in the melee combat people coaching Heather beat one slasher because she had the advice of 2 melee combatants and probably could beat the other if she wasn't tired after the fight. Maybe an expert at thaumaturgy and an expert at melee fighter could make her beat the melee fighter with spells and the thaumaturgy expert with melee. It seems no tricks like getting a shotgun could work as the killer is the one giving her advice, so maybe different killers giving different advice could be the key to defeating him
the characters inside suffers because of the you or the watcher so it's the best not to watch it she is a little bit lucky because she will forgot what will happen again if she dies
Idea: Don't talk at to heather about combat Just say :yes, no, wait etc. The killer could be watching you since heather could watch YOU too tl, the thing is HE has a masked hood, that decreases his vision
I knew it was impossible to beat the slasher when he somehow got into the car that Heather ended up breaking into and hot wiring. Like even if he knew that the guy might suggest a car how did he get into it without breaking the window and what if she chose a different car
Idea: Show her pieces of paper instead of talking to her, the slasher cannot see the paper since they're on the other side of the door.
Except that the killer can clone himself and could just have his clone hide off screen to read the paper.
@@aisnota5192 I think it only cloned itself when there were several people instructing Heather.
I love how they didn't give the video owners ammestics, they are like 'alright you can have this memory'
Earliest I’ve ever been! Always love seeing you guys made a post! Found the channel a couple months ago, binged and now these are some of my fav videos to put on in the background and listen to the killer voiceover! 🙌
Same here it’s so exciting
Me, too. I've been a fan of horror for so long and met so many actors from horror films, so I really loved seeing this one
Ditto here
experiment for the first one: have Heather commit die
experiment for both: set up two TVs facing each other, and play both tapes simultaneously
Waiting for Doctor Bright to just straight up telling her to make a chainsaw cannon.
Slasher movies villain might expect you to do many thing, but nothing can't be solved by some handy chainsaws.
Someone should probably call "Cinema Summary" to help this SCP out.
Imagine showing this tape in a cinema screen. People would pay for like 10-20 or more replays to try and save her life. I would pay for that.
I've wanted SCP Explained to cover SCP-5733 for a while so this makes me happy.
(psst, guys
This is an interactive SCP, we need to Put in our own ideas to get heather to safety!)
Oh ok then how about this
The suburb slasher was heather all along
Scp 682: Love this movie.
This is some prime creepypasta material.
I know how to win at this. It's dark, don't say you weren't warned... convince Heather, to become the slasher. Have her murder everyone in the video before the slasher gets a chance to. By movie logic, this would develope an insane plot twist, the slasher cannot get to her, if SHE is the slasher :)
But her friends got killed before she ask you for help
Both of these are absolute Big Brain moves
Wait.. since she said "Why arent you helping!?!" it means she can see you the entire time. Just try to convince her not to host the party
It's like The Phantom Killer had a kid with the girl from The Ring
Hoo hoooo boy! So many slasher references! I love it! I wonder if all of them were intentional. The name Heather, for example. Heather Langenkamp played Nancy Thompson in A Nightmare on Elm Street! Top tier horror movie, just so you know!
The dead neighbor was also named Loomis like the psychiatrist in Halloween
This is the exact opposite of plot armour, and I'm kinda here for it
So this is basically like a horror version of choices. Nice
I love love love love all the Halloween movie call backs in this video
'Malcolm Pleasance and Donald McDowell'. You thought you were slick there, didn't you?
Bizarre... I have never before heard the term "Local destabilization of reality". Downright BIZARRE.
YES I been wanting u to make this!
Idea: if the killer is a copy of the person helping Heather, get someone with a specific allergy to help and use the allergy against the killer. Might give Heather enough time to take the killer out
I’m not sure if the killer gets physical stuff.
Now THATS. A great twist with the second movie.
Survival Idea: Tell Heather one of your own weaknesses. Since the killer is always the viewer.
Legit a mini game you can chose any option
But always you lose
Since the first tape uses the killers knowledge and skills, they could just have a child help her, and just tell the child to ask her to fight off the killer. Yeah it’s a killer with a knife, but it’s also a killer that doesn’t know how to use a knife
One of my fav scps. So glad you covered it!
The Carpenter reference has not gone unnoticed 😉
This is an interesting SCP.
Okay, The Foundation’s F-ked/ Ded
The horror movie references in this video are awesome!
Scary movie SCPs are a thing now?! Cool
Edit: I also love the horror names and directors in this video and the actual pages too.
4:24 "To tap into one of the most underutilized resources in the world: Nerds." LOL, its true tho.
I know how to do it. Get a person highly susceptible to offers, such as… cough, cough, *fun time* in exchange for life,
Then tell the girl to offer him that, and since they are 1 of the same, they won’t die.
It would be interesting to be thrown into a horror movie and knowing the tropes.
As long as antagonist is human. You might live.
I did not know 5733 had a sequel.
Same, 5733 was a great read but I didn't know about 6733 until this video
I think the only way to beat the Slasher in the first tape is to make Heather kill him with the advice of 2 or more persons, which makes more slashers appear in the movie, but all of them is just the master of one advice, like in the melee combat people coaching Heather beat one slasher because she had the advice of 2 melee combatants and probably could beat the other if she wasn't tired after the fight.
Maybe an expert at thaumaturgy and an expert at melee fighter could make her beat the melee fighter with spells and the thaumaturgy expert with melee. It seems no tricks like getting a shotgun could work as the killer is the one giving her advice, so maybe different killers giving different advice could be the key to defeating him
3:17 “he was too stunned to speak” “the woman was too stunned to speak!”
6:55 “Mr Loomis” like Billy Loomis from Scream?
This feels more like a video call for emergency services
Hunter:- "do you like horror movies?"
Me:- "the only horror movie I've seen is Head Count."
the characters inside suffers because of the you or the watcher so it's the best not to watch it she is a little bit lucky because she will forgot what will happen again if she dies
Idea: Don't talk at to heather about combat Just say :yes, no, wait etc.
The killer could be watching you since heather could watch YOU too tl, the thing is HE has a masked hood, that decreases his vision
Doctor carpenter, in a horror movie scp. Sounds like a reference to John Carpenter
i know brilliant reference.
and the neighbour is called mr lumous i know i spelled it wrong but he's the dr from the original Halloween.
Love all the little horror references in the names
this actualy sounds kinda fun not gonna lie
0:42 Nice reference
I knew it was impossible to beat the slasher when he somehow got into the car that Heather ended up breaking into and hot wiring. Like even if he knew that the guy might suggest a car how did he get into it without breaking the window and what if she chose a different car
What if they use SCP-3922? See if the Slasher can handle some armed troops appearing out of nowhere.
Maybe thats why the sequel was made the scp website metions the killer was shot dead by police. Maybe the cops were 3922 agents.
@@7974Falcon oh that's my head cannon now
