- SCP 3935 is a Euclid Class anomaly also known as This Thing A Quiet Madness Made.
SCP-3935 is an extra-temporal, extra-spatial, non-Euclidean space located beneath the Salvation High School in Salvation, Indiana. While SCP3935 is the designation for the specific anomaly mentioned above, it is believed that the anomaly currently affects the entire town of Salvation, as individuals have reported anomalous events taking place outside of SCP-3935 as well. The full extent of these effects is not known.

As someone from a small Midwestern town, I can confirm that there’s no way their school had a pool
As someone from small town Indiana, I can say it's unlikely they had a pool but not impossible
as someone from a neighboring state village it is heavily unlikely they had a swimming area

Some additional details
1) The purple satchel with the phrase "Syncope" relates to the group known as "syncope symphony" a group heavily tied to the "Class of 76" anomalies such as SCP-332 and SCP-2316. How much are they involved with this anomaly is beyond me, but kaktus stated the reference was due to 3935 sharing similar themes with the aforementioned anomalies.
2) While she isn't completely sure what was written on the note, Mrs Fletcher believes it might've been the word "wet", but it was hard to make out.
3) A creepy little detail left unmentioned was how during the interview, Mrs Fletcher would occasionally say hello herself during her brief bouts of confusion.
4) It is mentioned in the special containment procedures that none of the townsfolk are able to reproduce.

I personally think that “the thing a quiet madness made” means that the reason this entity gains more power is by being ignored, by being quiet about this madness and not confronting it, they give it more and more power to do what it wants. Hell, it could even have been spawned by their toxic shunning done by ignoring people until they change into what is desired by the society. The thing a quiet madness made

That's a theory I've never thought about, but makes so much sense! Thanks! Honestly, I've been stumped by this 1 for a while. But that fits with the message in this mystery.
I also believe it's an unborn reality bender that was miscarried, there was a video explaining this. The scp is suffering and non existent, exactly why it's dwells lower and lower.
And... Looks like fractals have power. And the girl definitely made one, by filling it with the spiritual energy of her unborn child. And... With of course her. I think the procedure wasn't intentional, more like spontaneous. She was haunted by the responsibility of her child she was too young for, and had to deal with bullies. This town is almost like... Silent Hill. But when the girl hanged herself, her good and bad memories were mixed together with the energy, she gave back to the world, and thus she created a portal to the only place she was somewhat comfortable with (despite the bullies) - the school. The portal itself is the gate to her own personal hell. If someone takes a step ahead through the portal, there's no turning back. The girl consumes every single soul brave (or foolish) enough to walk in. Fractals are endless. As the torment of the girl, who lives under the "schools"...

They quickly go over their notes about the scene, which is about three lines and a bunch of question marks, before stepping out of their vehicle. As soon as they exit it, the vet puts up his hand stopping the rookie.
About a minute passes in silence.
“ Is everything ok?” the rookie asks.
“Yeah…” the vet says looking around confused. “It just… well at this point usually someone approaches us and says some made up thing about the place being locked down or closed and tells us to leave. Then we report it to HQ and go get coffee…”
They both look around, but no one approaches them.
“I uhh… guess we’re good,” the vet says. He then turns towards the rookie, a concerned look on his face. “So what are we supposed to do now?”
I think this is related to "syncope symphony",all the SCP they connect to have a same theme :

"Do not forgot"
and some playback of a past no one remember or deliberately ignored.
This town ignored or forgot some dark past,and that's why it turn into this madness.
In my head canon, the guy with the Syncope handbag is related, in some way, to the shit that went down at Salvation (I think he knocked up the cheerleader, knowing the town wouldn’t take kindly to that). He also had a hand in making SCP-332 behave the way it does, and also contributed to the anomalousness of the Class of ‘76 subcanon. Perhaps he was a disgruntled and vengeful teacher/faculty member, or a held-back, poorly-treated student with a grudge.
Whatever the case is, I’m glad I didn’t go to high school in the ‘70s.

Gotta respect the resilience of the students. Halfway through the day when I hear about these strange occurances piling up, I'd just go "No. Nope nope nope." and go home.
The scp brainwashed them and the principal to make the school running.
This town had quite the shameful past they tried to bury. But I have to wonder, was it their actions that caused this anomaly? Or the work of the Syncope Symphony trying to uncover Salvation's shame?
properly something for the first one like a anomaly is that a anomaly they did something normal to then and they thought something normal would happen but it didn't they were the caused of it but what ever that note said and who ever made the building gave the anomaly a home and if you give a bug a home it will make a nest and if it make a nest it will make more nests

I am also from Indiana Born and raised, it’s unnerving having more then one SCP anomaly in my state. We literally have O’Death at our door step.

even the fact that they had a swimming area in their school
I suspect the other cheerleaders decided to peer pressure the one into getting pregnant but didn't expect her to actually go that far, much less get pregnant. Because of how clicky the town was, the teen began feeling depressed and or maybe she lost the baby, making her feel worse. So now she shows up as the black entity and is warping the town and stuff because instead of her death teaching a lesson about not being so cruel to each other, the town just continued on being the way it was. Either that or maybe the 10th cheer leader was the black entity's mother and being a daughter of a single mother in town like that made both daughter and mother isolated but were likely unable to afford to move. So all that negative talking behind their backs still drove them into madness.

Now that you've done this SCP, I really hope you're going to delve in deeper into Syncope Symphony and the Class of 76. That event is even more abstract and anomalous than Salvation Highschool and it's one of my all time favorites

My paternal grandparents live in a town that use to be so peaceful they didn't worry about locking their doors at night. Now my grandma still lives in the same town but has to make sure the door is lock before she goes to bed. Its not because of annomolies but because time has changed and thus so has the town.

@@Pionterus No, he died of dementia, but my grandma watches the news often and knows her way around town she lives in and not ignorant on how the world is changing. Even now with Osteoporosis keeping her at home most of the time she still aware of what's going on. Sorry about the confusion.
Even when my grandpa was alive though he spent his final time alive in a nursing home because of dementia. But my grandma proved to be independent enough to be left in her home alone as long as someone comes to check on her now and then because of her age and osteoporosis as well as take her to her appointments. But she been warned if she severely injures herself because of Osteoporosis she will have to stay in a nursing home. That was a few years back though and she still living in the same house.
I am actually from Indiana, about 10 minutes from SCP 1337- The Hitchhiker. I can vouch that there is no way they had a pool at their public school...

"There's nothing anomalous about the ugliness of human nature" You know, I'm not so sure about that. It's at least a debatable gray area. Kind of feel like there might be something anomalous about it that could cause a ZK class cross-reality failure. The sort of anomaly in which all members of homo sapiens might be part of without exception.

Probably my favourite part of SCP.
The anomalies may not be the world-ending kind or require a major in quantum physics or philosophy.
What makes them so interesting is their all to human origin in high-school drama that went way out of hand. Many of us have at least heard of towns like Salvation and some remember their teen-age life there with varying degrees of fondness and nostalgia.
Unlike unkilkable monsters or scarlet kings, Co76 could happen anywhere to anyone.
I really hope they take on the Class of 76 and Syncope Symphony for the exact reasons you listed here. It's not world ending and it doesn't require a major in quantum physics or philosophy, but it's still absolutely terrifying and gives the aura of an XK Class end of the world Scenario, without actually being one

the fact a town of fourteen hundred people (which is actually classed as a village, as a fun fact) has a high school for only that town and not, like, the entire county should have tipped off that there was something anomalous. and also that this not-county high school had its own swimming pool.
unless this village of 1400 was just really *really* rich.
also only having one church is weird af. the small town (village, I think there's 800 people in it?) my parents live in has six different denominations of churches in it.
They took the church budgets and combined them into making the school.
As somebody from a small town in Indiana I can 100% confirm that the beginning is all true.
Oh hey, my highschool. This place was a terrible town, and honestly, they barely talk about the worst things. I mean when a HARDWARE story opening up is big news, you know the towns a total bore. That prom dance though with that guy who pulled the prank where he screamed and fell into the ceiling was priceless though.

As a person in the Midwest, I can confirm that nobody leaves their doors unlocked at night. Most lock them during the day. Even here, isolation breeds mistrust of outsiders, even if we don’t use that kind of language.
I can't remember which video it was exactly but I remember SCP Explained saying that they wipe the memories of viewers when a video doesn't do too well. I'm getting more and more inclined to believe that because I swear down I saw this video like 4 months ago. Creepy

Well, they did say that the amnestics they used in the beginning were dodgy.
To be fair, a student standing up and rolling their eyes to the back of the head before descending into the floor and disappearing suddenly is fairly typical high school behavior. As is unintelligible speech during broadcasts.
Though the animator's choice to make it JUST their eyes that went walkabout was somewhat unexpected.
