The Black Celebration album really secured D.Ms position in the electronica genre. Each new album was just getting better and better. I believe it was their 5th album at that point and they seemed to be putting out a new album every year. Their staying power and endless talent kept all of us D.M fans on edge knowing that another new album was soon awaiting us. One of my fav bands of all time and really helped define the music scene of the 80's and 90's in so many ways.

I never once saw this as an attack on Princess Di. This was (to me) always an attack on the press and what it chooses to cover.
