The Axisflying Cineon C25V2 and C20V2 is out and looks to be a big upgrade from the Z20 and Z25. Will you be reviewing either one of those or both?
That's Tiny. It looks really cool. I keep hearing the 03 will almost completely eliminate the need for an external camera as the footage is more than adequate. While others have claimed it is still necessary (for their purposes) to run an external camera. I like the size. I'm more interested in the cinewhoop recently for their small size and indoor capability. Great review. Axis flying is putting out some really good product lately. I like the design of their quads and their motors. Great video!! Excellent review.

@Paul Andrews yeah, I have 1, got it about a week ago. Have been thinking of which quad to put it in. 😆 out of 5 vista quads that I have it will really only work in 2 ( Diatone Roma F5 V2, need to use double-sided tape and /or zip ties for the Air unit or 3D print a AU holder or my Roma L3 and mount AU same way. Leaning towards the Roma F5 and not using a Gopro. Tried the L3 yesterday but did not want to de-solder / re-solder the Vista wires to the FC ( Diatone for some reason swapped the plugs ) yeah Me lazy, lol 😆 I still have not connected it to my Googles V2, scared. Will attempt next week after my vacation, I just don't want things to go wrong and have nothing to fly. It looks like a nice paper weight on my work bench 😩 😆
@Paul Andrews should of asked this first, what quad you thinking of putting it in?
@@jaechoe I plan to build it a CineOn 30 (2004 motors/4S) or a Foxwhoop 25 (1404 motors/4S) are my current choices.
Great alternative to the DJI Avata, it is under 250g and can record HD video.
The Z20 looks way smaller than the Z25, it could be more useful in tight spaces.
The carbon plates don't need to be that thick, it could definitely be lighter with thinner carbon plates.
It flies pretty good for such a small drone, the quality of the image is amazing with the O3 air unit.

Yup under 250g w/ 03AU so so nice. Knowing me I might break the camera, that is the only thing that worries me. But than again it is light and you won't be going super fast. I think it just looks sour cool 😎

I seen people use phone to start motors then disconnect phone on Avata, but yeah need a 03 cinematic and freestyle well there goes the bank lol
any word on DJI o3 unit 10 bit upgrade , as Avata did ? How well can you tune this quad for smooth indoor cinematic fly through work ?
Sorry, they haven't told me when the 10-bit upgrade is coming. It's probably soon though. The tune on this quad is already pretty good. You just need to adjust some of the settings to your preferences like rates, feed-forward, etc...

Hey Albert, did you have to do anything to your drone out of the box such as changing the PWM frequency or add o-rings or rubber gummies where the camera is mounted? Ive been seeing a lot of people having Jello and couple of people dont such as yourself in your footage video and another youtuber. I did notice on your build compared to others that you have black spacer gummies between the light blue tpu and the bottom plate. I wonder if that helps with vibrations.
I made no modifications. Flew it the way it came to me.
@@AlbertKimTV Unfortunately my maiden flight had horrible jello in goggles while flying and the footage was just as worse. No wind or anything. Not good at all. Their advertising of no jello is wrong. It has to be modified. I guess you as a reviewer, whatever they sent you was different.
Hi, I want to buy this drone to practice freestyle and acro flying indoors with the quality of the 03 unit. Is there any reason this would be a bad drone for that? I’m having trouble finding small drones with an 03 air unit that can be recommended for acro and freestyle indoors
Anything with prop guards is not ideal for fresstyle.
Can you please please test it on a 2s battery? And tell me how it flies?
I’m desperately looking everywhere for a 2s drone with O3 unit on a 2.5 or 2” frame but there’s nothing on the whole internet
It won't take off on 2S since the motor KV is too low.
Awesome review Albert! I've seen other reviews and other people claim that the O3 produces "jellow" on this Quad (even thou its soft mounted), have you encountered this issue also?
I have not personally. You can see the footage I have and it doesn't have jello. Maybe they crashed it and something broke somewhere and that's why there's jello?

How loud the noise is?
Please considering loud testing because this is very important.
You can use app to measure it with distance about 2 meter.
Above 75dba is useless for flying indoor or close to people, it's very intimidating.

When you said this is probably the replacement for the avata, i didnt really get it, just to realize they have the exact same camera hahaha. That was a good point though, the fact that this is lower than 250 grams makes in very versatile. Great job bringing this product to our attention Albert!
If you don't already have an Avata it probably wouldn't make any sense to you. These O3 BNF quads will be great for Avata pilots who don't want to deal with remote ID. Obviously analog pilots DGAF about remote ID anyway.
I don't think he is saying this replaces the Avata, just the next drone the Avata pilots should consider especially if they don't want to comply with Remote ID.
Both "fpv" drones from DJI are misunderstood pieces of kit. I am not a trad fpv ripper myself, hence for me DJI's interpretation of fpv (very broad term by the way) is much closer to my understanding of first person view flying - head tracking working almost independently of drone direction of movement. In my opinion DJI designed the avata from the ground up to be used with head tracking and motion controller, the remote controller is an afterthought that doesn't truly represent the way the drone is meant to be used; the fault lies with DJI's marketing really they should have been more thorough with their definition of "fpv".
If you're not a hardcore top professional racer, you're not an FPV pilot, you're just a wannabe.
