Hey - a year late (& several dollars short after collecting) - always lurking in the background is RC possibilities especially here with CCM nice, hefty construction quality. Can you tell if the drive sprocket is metal or plastic? thanks!
I know you will be doing a review on the new 395 excavator from Diecact Masters. Mine had a problem with the main boom rams not holding poses just want to see if this is just a anomaly or if alot have this problem. Look forward to your review on it.
Mine and a handful of others that have them in stock seem to have the same problem unfortunately. I plan on releasing the review hopefully in the next couple weeks.
@@DiecastEmporium Can't wait for that review. I hope all those doors are not as skew as they look on the pictures... Wish they would not have added that feature. The hinges of all opening doors and covers seem too big and visible as well.
If finances allow at the time, I would love to review one of the scrapers. Time will tell. You can fix loose hydraulic cylinders by adding a bit of glue but not too much
How was the packaging? The D11's were horrible and after that I told myself I would never buy another large scale model from CCM. If I do get this I think ill drive to DHS so I can open it there before I buy so its not all broken like the D11. If they have improved the packaging I would love to see a CAT feller buncher and skidded in this scale. Need more forestry equipment models. Do you have any of the TigerCat 1/32 scale models?
I did not buy a d11 or D10 so I can't attest to personally what the packaging was. However, I can attest that my D9 arrived in perfect condition with no shipping damage, which is a shock because my carriers around here are careless with packages. It is zip tied by very strong flex cuffs and shipped in two outer shipping boxes. The styrofoam also what's top quality. Obviously no one can guarantee you that no shipping damage would happen, so if you are able to drive to a CCM distributor and pick it up I probably would. But to answer your question, I thought the packaging in my opinion was great. From Oregon to Cincinnati, Ohio is a pretty substantial distance and everything arrived completely intact. No, I don't have any tiger cat equipment in any scale

First always put some oil on the cylinders.

Why are the rollers underneath all over the place?
they sometimes get hung up but drop down once you move the tracks or adjust them with your finger. All good
