This is the official Diecast Emporium review and unboxing of the Diecast Masters 1:50 scale Highline Series Cat D5 LGP Fire Suppression Dozer. The item number for this model is 85952. New for 2023, the model features a number of working parts including a full functioning blade, rotating metal tracks, opening cab door, and opening engine service panels. This is the first time any Caterpillar scale model licensee has produced a proper forest configured firefighting bulldozer and I have to say overall I'm very impressed.

As always well done.My friends and I operate these.the hoses on front are cables so trees don't lounge between blade and tractor should trees over come blade.(common on nite opps).

Another Nice review as always I recently got one of these for my future pipeline layout as a forestry dozer I was disappointed with the looseness in the blade on mine but fixed it with a rubber grommet also the shovel on the back of the dozer is removable from its mount

@@DiecastEmporium I found out it was removable by accident when I was unboxing it it’s a well done model outside of my issue with a loose blade I’m not aware yet if it’s a widespread issue though I’m looking forward to the release of the narrow track XR version this model sets a standard for the D5 in detail and functionality I saw your review of the regular D5LGP and I’m contemplating getting one of them as well
@@davidauman4666 Mine has a loose blade as well. Honestly, I'd rather have it loose than it be too stiff and risk breaking something. With a loose blade, at least you get more of an angle left or right direction.
I got mine mine the other day and fixed the blade so it goes all the way up and cut out the top part of the blade like it should have been. 😊
