I'll never understand why some people care so much about being able to decipher gutturals, but I guess everybody is different. Lots of young guys don't appreciate these gutterals. Gallagher is one of the best so if he doesn't like him, then there's little hope. Such a shame. They fit the music so well too. I think high pitched vocals in metal are obnoxious. The low growls blend in nicely, and helps the guitar solos to really stand out. It's a good mix.
His vocal is extremely brutal in many ways and his vocabulary is so perfect, clean guttural and crisp...the genre is brutal technical metal all the way...what you're listening to them are outside is different than inside...if you go inside live...boom🤯 big difference... so you gotta go see them inside...you will be mistaken what you just said
My favorite band for sure... I love all of their albums and they own the stage live.... Kick ass!! His voice honestly took me a few listens to get into loooong ago.. But now I love it!
I thank you so much for being honest. I cant stand when people only pretend to like whatever they listen to. DF are definitely an acquired taste and I only listen to them at the gym.
okey, so antonio don't like john's voice... when i saw he didn't headbang like he always do then i thought he didn't like the genre in general but is just the voice and thats cool. i know some people don't like the goblin voice travis from cattle decapitation does and thats okay! great reaction xD i love this song
So pissed I missed them in November cuz I had the Rona.. my second favorite death metal band!! EDIT- I wake up in the morning and say I wanna listen to some Dying Fetus.. also seeing them live is completely different from listening or watching on TH-cam.
One of my favorite death metal bands ever! The groove they put into their style is awesome ! I get the whole thing about that type of vocals but it's part of their art, I tend to feel a bit annoyed after too much of that vocal noise ..still...I listen to that music in spite of that element. And there's also another thing.. people complain saying "why would you write lyrics if you do that?" and I'm like... really? it's not like the lyrics have a very very important motivational message for your life.

You can like one vocalist while dislike another within the same genre of any music. Not every vocalist in extreme music sounds or is alike.
