While I want to love this so badly and I appreciate the effort put in, this is just way way too many collaborations with too many youtubers, audio quality is all over the place and while I enjoy your commentary quite a few of these were not for me and the intros started to grain on me barely an hour in. While again incredible video, it just felt so messy with so many different people involved. Also obviously a personal issue but some of the younger commentators really got to me as an older fan. The first commentator doesn't even seem to be aware the episode is a spoof on the shining and none of the younger commentators seem to ever comment on the source material.

Sound was mentioned, but I would also add research. Some contributors would mention the source material of a segment but not understand any of the references. I think what makes the ending to Toy Gory so dark compared to other TOH episodes is that the condition Bart is left in is played entirely straight. No one comically underreacts to the situation, Bart isn't resurrected, he's straight up dead and the segment just ends on his family wailing over him at the doctor's office. And the fact that his corpse is seen around the house during the song at the end implies that his parents were just too grief stricken to get over him.
Also this was the late 90s, the anti-smoking movement was in full swing- I'm guessing you grew up in a time when smoking in public places was always outlawed, but there used to be cigarette ads everywhere
That stranger reading to Maggie is Vincent Price. He is famous for acting in many early horror movies. With all due respect, I've been watching a few of your videos and you are too young to get a lot of the jokes and references.
That and/or they should just do some basic research if they're gonna commit to making a large project like this. A lot of the commentators in this video missed a lot of references and just ramble. I'm only 35 minutes in and not sure I'll bother to watch the rest The furry av guy talking about Dracula is really killing my interest

Homer³ is my favorite treehouse of horror. When I first saw it as a kid I didn't catch the whole episode I walked in right after that segment started so I didn't realize it was a treehouse of horror and spent like two years thinking I missed a sequel somewhere

My parents have a Homer as Santa Clause that runs on batteries and says funny Xmas quips; and it always gave me mixed vibe as a kid. The giant Homer animatronic you showed, has amplified the mixed vibes into full force discomfort and malice ☠ that thing is terrifying, more terrifying than all the episodes of treehouse of horrors purely thru existing. Please set that thing on fire thank you.
While this video is impressive, I have a major criticism. You spend way too much time just summarising the segment while barely spending any time reviewing the segment. There is nothing wrong with summarising the episode since most people who have seen this video probably didn't watch every treehouse of horror but you don't need to recap every small event and gag if you are not going to talk about them. I'd recommend you recap the plot loosely (eg Homer cubed is about homer entering the 3rd dimension while his family try to save him ending with Homer being released into the real world), if there are any scenes you want to talk about then add them to the recap while leaving ones where you don't add commentary. This is extremally annoying for somebody who has seen every Simpsons episode (for evidence I have a Simpsons ranking on my channel, sorry for the plug). Despite this, I can somewhat forgive this criticism because there are so many other youtubers featured within this video who could have wrote the script for their section.
I love this. I always enjoy talk about the Treehouse of Horror and you all clearly put a lot of time and effort into this and it is great getting to see smaller channels get some love through a collab like this.
in my opinion the first 10 were solid and in the 90s. It got less funny as these specials progressed. I watch them now but these specials are not what they used to be.
Get a 2 year old to read the first one, then the second guy couldn't care so little that he sounded like a robot. This is going to be a doozy isn't it.
