    Thanks for the video/review. We have the same Rockwood MiniLite 2109S. My wife only agreed to purchase this model if I agreed to always make the bed. The struggle is real. Great bloopers!

    My biggest issue making RV bed is the bottom sheet, I feel like I would have the same issue getting the beddy bottom sheet on. Plus, I need my own quilt and my husband has his own. But this video was super helpful, because I wondered if Beddy's would help us. Thanks for this!

      I understand this bedding is not right for everyone. I (Christy) have always used a top flat sheet so giving that up was something I had to get used to. The ease of making the bed was well worth it!! Thanks so much for letting us know you found the video helpful, we love the feedback!!

    We purchased our Beddy set while on a 2-week RV trip in our 24' Airstream Flying Cloud after the gymnastics I had to perform to make the bed using traditional bedding. They arrived the day we returned home and I immediately installed the new Beddy's. We just returned from a week in the trailer and WE ARE SOLD on Beddy's. We bought the cotton sheets, not the minky, and the cotton was very soft. Took me a minute to make the bed and no more gymnastics. I wish RV dealers would contract with Beddy's and put them in all new trailers. Happy Dance.

      I was doing the same thing and I’m not as agile as I used to be 🤣🤣. I had been looking at Beddy’s for awhile and them one day after making the bed I decided I had had enough and ordered one! They may be pricey but we’ll worth it! Good to know the cotton one is soft, we are still wanting to get a set for home. Great idea of RV dealers putting them on the beds - it would be a huge plus!! Thanks so much for watching and happy bed making!

    I picked up a Beddy yesterday from a really nice lady about 1.5 hours from my house. Totally worth the drive. It was purchased to use on the mattress in her RV. She thought the minky option was way too warm for the RV but didn’t know how she felt about it until it was past the return time. I got it for about 1/2 price and it’s maybe been used less than 5 times. I slept in it last night and my 5 year old daughter slept in it too. She was hot and ended up on top of the blanket which she does a lot even with her sheet set. Since she tends to run hot I think I may get her the all cotton option. I’ve been relatively comfortable, a little warm a couple of times but not sweating. So far I really like it! Thanks for the honest review! Your video helped me decide to buy it!

    • @TravelingBuckeyes

      What a great deal for you! I (Christy) too find that it is just a little to warm sometimes during the summer months, but when this happens I just drop the air conditioner a few degrees 🤣. However during the fall, spring and occasional winter trip I find it nice and cozy warm. We also use it at home during the winter months and love it!! I hope you enjoy your Beddys as much as we do! Thanks so much for your kind words and for watching!

    We have room to pull the mattress about 18 inches toward the foot, we then lift the head side and put the bottom sheet on. We then push the mattress back into position and put the foot of the bottom sheet on. The top sheet and the comforter is easier to put on. With the two of us, it is less than 5 minutes. Yours looks like a hybrid queen sleeping bag/sheet look. Interesting.

    • @TravelingBuckeyes
      @TravelingBuckeyes  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes it is similar to a sleeping bag. We love using our sleeping bags in cooler weather that may be why we like the beddy’s bedding so much! We thought that we would miss the flat sheet but we haven’t one bit. Thanks for watching!

    Like I’ve mentioned before, we’ve got a 2608SB which is a front kitchen wardrobe slide Rockwood and making the bed for us is the worst. We’ve got those 2 boxes like u that’s the pass thru under the bed. And the nite stands like yours also. And trying to climb up and lean over and tuck and fit sheets and a blanket is the worst. It’s those 2 boxes that suck. But I’m not sure bout the giant size sleeping bag. That’s what it reminds me of. Maybe we will look into it if it cuts down on the arguments. Of making a bed… anyway. Off to salmonie state park in the morn. We will see ya there someday.

    • @TravelingBuckeyes
      @TravelingBuckeyes  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Lol, sounds like you feel the pain of making the bed 🤣🤣 It’s like a workout just to make the bed! Have fun at Salmonie and thanks for watching!

  • @AMConcepcion
    @AMConcepcion 3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

    I don't get it. The hardest part is the bottom sheet, and the Beddy doesn't help with that right? You still have to remove it to wash it and then put it back.Why not just get a bottom sheet and a lightweight comforter in a duvet to throw over the top? You could keep the bottom of the comforter tucked in. Wash the duvet as needed.

    • @TravelingBuckeyes

      Sorry I’m not trying to argue, seriously trying to see the Buddy advantage. Just tell me this. Do you wash the bottom part of the Beddy ever? As often or less often than a bottom fitted sheet?

    • @faithburch6215
      @faithburch6215 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      It depends on how much room you have between the sides of the slide outs and the edge of the mattress. Also the depth of the slide out. My husband and I aren’t as young as we once were (70/69) so the leaning and stretching is a bit more challenging. We’ve just purchased our Buddy bedding. So much easier and quicker for us.

    Good thing these people are getting PAID by "Beddys" to advertise their goods. These things are OVERPRICED starting at $200 for ONE twin sized bed, and going up to nearly $500 for a King Sized bed. This means that folks like us who have twin beds will end up paying as much for a set as someone with a King bed. Their price point is RIDICULOUS.
