I agree 100%. It was not well sung-perhaps, he was sick.
First thing I've heard from Jerry that I didn't like. It seemed like he did not handle that big jump to the high note well at all, both times. The high note sounded forced, too open and not covered. Which is very unusual for Jerry.
This aria is so tricky. These b-flats are so difficult.
