    I immediately went to Amazon and ordered one. I play on PC, PS4, and Xbox S. I don't like the standard Xbox controller joystick placement. Probably because I started on a PS4. I strongly wanted a PS style controller for my Xbox. This was a God send.

      @InJeffable 3 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      @@DARK-KNIGHT-88 I don't play Call of Duty, but the triggers have been plenty comfortable for Halo Infinite. I honestly don't know what Mr. Kenson is talking about when he says that the triggers will dig into your fingers over time. If anything, the triggers on the first party Xbox One controller are more likely to dig into my fingers over time due to my fingers pressing against the square-edged compartment that they sink into when pressed all the way down. The triggers on the 8BitDo Pro 2 don't have that issue, and the extra width they have compared to the first party Xbox One triggers makes them more comfortable in my opinion.

    I got my first Xbox (series S) just two weeks ago, and after trying that controller for a while, I ordered this one as soon as I saw it on Amazon. So much more comfortable for me; but, I am used to PS controllers more, and my hands are not the same size as yours.
    Edit: Also, it depends on HOW you hold your controller. I don't hold them the way Kevin does at all, so there is no issue with the ridge on the lower shoulder button. I keep the index finger on the top shoulder button, and the middle finger on the bottom; never have an issue with the ridge, then.

    Great review! I've had mine for a week or two now and love everything about it but the cord. It plugs directly into a Magic-NS adapter allowing use with the Switch, which is a nice bonus. A fantastic plug and play no nonsense pad, one thing I noticed on the xbox version of the pro2 is that the triggers are tighter and have a bit more resistance to them where as the standard pro2 they feel a bit looser. They feel like more premium triggers though some may prefer looser ones. I don't have an issue with the trigger edge like he was suggesting, it's very comfortable, and like every pad out there the comfort of a pad will depend on the size of your hands.

The playstation controllers and the 8bitdo pro I have my middle finger on the R2/L2 triggers and index on the R1/L1. I see the 8bitdo pro 2 as something similar to like a racing wheel or a fight stick, it is a specialized controller. This controller has it's niche (2d styled games) and it does very well in those areas, but it doesn't really succeed in games that are outside of that niche (games that make heavy use of the thumbsticks and/or shoulder buttons, like first person shooters). It can work well for those types of games, but there are better options out there for them.

    Is it bigger than the Series s Controller

    • @InJeffable
      @InJeffable 3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Assuming that the Series S controller is the same size as the Xbox One controller (because I have an Xbox One controller but not a Series S controller), I can tell you that the sizes are pretty similar. The main difference with the 8BitDo Pro 2 controller is that it's wider across the top, making it a more comfortable controller for people with large hands (at least in my opinion).

      Except it isn't, BetterHelp is scummy. Just check their terms of service and you'll see why. They do not offer "licensed therapists" nor do they check the "therapist's" history to see if they are legit or not. Do not use them. They also break laws regarding therapy as well, meaning they WILL share personal information as their online data whereas a legit therapist will never do that.
