I remade The Separatist Droid March Theme this time using all the pieces I could find. I used 2 tracks from the remastered album and other 3 from The Superlative Edition Album of The Phantom Menace, which contains every unreleased track of the movie. The Theme is about as long as The Imperial March, so finally also the Separatists have their complete unified single Theme.
At last we shall have a theme song.

What I loved about the Clone Wars era was that neither side was completely black and white. The Republic was framed as the good guys but had its fair share of corruption and dubious actions. The Confederacy was framed as the bad guys, but had its nuances, and was fighting for a good cause, at least in the eyes of its members. And both sides using armies of expendable soldiers, one made of slaves, the other of machines. I loved it!
They were BOTH Slaves
Los clones y los droides no eran imprescindibles eran muy caros
I mean except for their army...yes Separatists were actually the good guys that didnt want to be part of corrupted Republic because they knew their problems would be ignored just like it was before Clone Wars...mostly outer rim systems that were drained of their materials that were often shipped into the center, feeding the Republic and they had almost no profit from it or protection...no wonder they became Separatists

I think The Separatist deserves a better storyline than those simple bad guy cliche, they are meant to be simple sure, but that can also come with some deep thoughts.
Then you should watch the arc of episodes in the The Clone Wars tv show where they show the Separatists parliament and expose their beliefs.
@@thelastsith3484 The Clone Wars tv show was some of the best Star Wars content in a good while. It really helped flesh out how Sidious was playing both sides.
HOLY FUCK SOMEONE WITH A RAYNARE PROFILE PICK! Ellooo Ray wassup ^~^
The whole point is that they are supposed to look like the barbaric enemy to everyone. The separatist parliament were mostly decent people with actual gripes (as explored briefly in the Clone Wars show), but Palpatine's point is that he wanted them to be the boogeyman to fear in the night (Heck, grievous is designed to look like a skeleton). The reason for the Empire.
They kinda remind me of germans in WW1. They both were quite good dudes with one or two warcrimes in their history, but they had worse enemies, and it were those enemies who shaped reality into the evil "huns" and "clankers" with propaganda and news manipulation.

The Jedi secret army of clones was revealed, and their treachery was far greater than we could have imagined! Countless living beings-these clones the Jedi created-have been sent to their deaths, while we sacrifice mainly droids. Our soldiers of flesh and blood are willing participants! For real, the Droid Army has become my second favorite one next to the clone army. It's weaponry, the numbers, the special units, the terror appearance and the fact their enemies don't have so much plot armor is so cool.
Just a few battle droids are no problem for a competent fighter, but hundreds of them are nearly unstoppable.
An army that never tires, where when one unit falls two more take it's place, and can be manufactured by the thousands on the cheap.
I love the clones but logically, had Palpatine not been playing both sides the CIS would've likely forced the Republic to surrender since it takes time to produce clone troopers and train them while droids can be instantly programmed en mass.
I agree. In fact on Google Docs I'm writing on why I think the Separatist would have one if it hadn't been for Palpatine.

The fact that they sent heartless machines rather than lives into war is one of the biggest signs they were the good guys here
YOU MONSTER SAYING DROIDS DON'T MATTER
The only cruel thing about the droids is that the AI they had bordered on sentience.
Yeah, those heartless machines with full sentience, emotions, and ability to feel pain.
@@ic0nic707their droids didn’t haven’t sentience packets installed in them, b1’s are the equivalent of our modern day chatbots outside of fighting
No. The droids were actually capable of harnessing sentience, as stated canonically. Anyone who programmed consciousness into these war machines was insane.
John Williams even gave the droids a super cool march. I loved this back in the day. Performing this music as brass instrument was super fun also.
As a kid, you learn to idolize the Clone Army but once you grow older you realize, "Wait, an army of cloned slaves who are bred to know nothing but war to fight against an army of disposable machines instead of actual living beings."

Go team! Nice anthem!
One thing I absolutely love about this theme and that of the Clone Army is that they sound so similar with the same exact tone. Almost indistinguishable. They get confused for one another so often. It really represents how both sides in the war were being manipulated by a single figure, and that at the end of the day the only thing that mattered was Sidious' grand plan - not whatever the Republic and Separatists as a whole thought they were fighting for. Compared to the Imperial March and the Alliance theme, which are drastically different in tone and sound.
It's a testament to just how good John Williams's score is, that I haven't seen the prequels in full in years, and haven't intentionally searched much of their music (at least not this track) since.
And yet both this song's melody and at least one scene with it (the droids landing on Naboo) came flooding back to me immediately within seconds of hearing this. It just sticks with you like that.
Hearing this in Star Wars battlefront while hundreds of battle droids march to battle and the announcer saying “Failure will reduce you all to scrap metal” is just epic.

Nerfed? If anything, they were buffed. Having your entire army controlled through a single mothership is a lethal weakness as was shown in TPM. It was better for them to ditch that with later droid models being able to operate independently from the mothership
@@sentinal_entity That could easily be solved by having multiple motherships that share the same server that controls the droids. When they were a hivemind, they were more calculated with everything and didn't make inane chitchat or make logical errors
